Oceanfront, 2nd-Floor Condo with Balcony, WiFi & Shared Hot Tub/Pools/Putt-Putt

Located beside stairs and next to place our family have a time share.

This was all of our first time staying in Atlantic Beach, A Place at the Beach, and using Vacasa. Overall 4/5 Stars. Cleanliness of the property= 3/5 stars. The floors were filthy. We had to throw away all of our socks as they were stained black. Everything else seemed to be clean and orderly. Check in Process= 2/5 stars. Having to keep track of 2 packets was too much. 1 packet from Vacasa and 1 packet from A Place at the Beach. AND KEYS! OMG... Such a hassle! Made 3 separate trips for keys. I would give 4/5 Stars for E-Lock handles and Vacasa App Check-In with 1 information packet already in the room! Accuracy of the listing= 4/5 Stars. Everything was as expected, except the dryer heating element didn't work. So we had to take our wet clothes to the laundry room... which was not an issue until Ophelia came thru and we had NO ACCESS to the laundry room in the L building, as we were in the K Building. Communication with property management = 5/5 Stars. Vacasa did not disappoint. They were on top of the toilet issue we had and repairs were made the next day. Keys were also provided as requested. Wonderful job! Location/Neighborhood= 5/5 Stars. We really enjoyed the property grounds. We loved that Everything was within a short driving distance. Great location! Overall 4/5 Stars.

Love the location and the property amenities. The home is nice, but could use a few upgrades. The mattress in the master bedroom is absolutely terrible. The living room has uncomfortable large wicker chairs to lounge in and there is no patio furniture other than two tall barstools (not good for children by the way when you're on the second floor). The kitchen was lacking many things most of all absolutely no plastic wear at a beach/pool location with kids! It was all ceramic and/or glass. All breakable. Very little pots and pans to cook with. The wifi worked well, but you have to re-login literally every time you access it from any device which is just annoying. Otherwise, it met our needs and we continue to come back year after year because we love the area and the kids love the property with the pool, waterslide, mini golf etc. I also love that this unit has its own washer and dryer and is convenient to everything on resort!

My family loves coming to this locations yearly! Room was great with lots of games and things for the kids!

We had an amazing time even though the weather wasn’t so great. It was a cozy condo and plenty of things to do.

Lots of great things about this place. The amenities for kids are super, and our 8yo daughter had a fantastic time on the huge pool slide and in the heated indoor pool. I enjoyed the two hot tubs, and the proximity to the very wide and peaceful beach. We didn't make it to the putt-putt golf course on the premises, but if we had stayed for an extra day we probably would have enjoyed that too. The view from the balcony of the unit is good, everything was reasonably clean. No major problems. I'll note though that almost everything about the unit is pretty 80's. The appliances for example were all pretty old, the cabinets in the kitchen, bathroom decor,... Everything important worked though, and if you are primarily interested in doing things (beach, surrounding area attractions, complex amenities,...), then its not that big of a deal that the appliances are old. If you are looking for a fancy hotel room, this isn't it. My only actual complaints are minor. The biggest one was that the way the complex has its wifi set up, we had to reconnect seemingly several times per day; not the hardest thing in the world, but we just couldn't figure why it couldn't be a simple matter of connecting once and forgetting it. Second, the locks on the bathroom doors didn't work; no problem for our group and easily dealt with, but since the issue could likely be resolved with a screwdriver and basic familiarity with the inner workings of a doorknob, it was a little disappointing. If this place is available next time we plan on coming to the area, I'd be happy to stay there again given the very reasonable price by comparison to other units in the complex, and I'd rather save the money than have updated appliances and such given that the great majority of my interests are outside of the room itself. If your interests are like mine, then I think you might like it too.

The unit was cozy and clean. Had a nice big balcony for sitting outside. It had what we needed. The check in process was confusing. We needed to get the keys at Vrbo office but was not told where to get the parking pass or the activity bands. They were not given in the packet with the keys to the unit. So we had to check in at the Place At the Beach unit as well to get our bands and pass.
