Stayed Sep 25, 2025Living room furniture needs cleaning or replacing. Living room rug absolutely needs replacing. Kitchen needs to be inventories for necessities. Missing a decent cookie sheet and there were no oven mitts/hot pads. Bedrooms were comfortable. HVAC worked well and kept us cool.

Stayed Jun 12, 2025Pros: -Great pools and proximity to beach-Parking is convienent even though parking deck is at times hard to navigate-fast reliable elevators-unit had most of what we needed for our stay-comfy couchesCons-cleanliness. This is the first time I have ever taken it upon myself to clean a door wall at a place I had paid really good money to stay at. When we arrived you could tell the windows were dirty and obscured the beautiful ocean view. That and the patio furniture had probably not been clean in months. We bought windex and Clorox wipes so we could enjoy the balcony. The lounge chair was also broke so we really couldn’t enjoy that due to fear of breaking more. -no directions visable for tv remotes. We could get certain functions to work but not others. For instance cable box present in main room could flip over to cable input but then unable to change channel. Tv in other headroom worked great but the remotes would not control volume. -massive need of updating. Carpets in bedrooms were gross with all kinds of stains. Water damage above showers and peeling of ceiling paint in other places. - in general it would be amazing with a bit of TLC and consistent cleaning. We however will not be back. Too bad as we come to this area a bunch throughout the year.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had rented at another location and to say that the pictures were misleading would be a huge understatement. (It was awful). Called Waters Edge and the person who helped us said that there was one rental available. We drove to Surfside and asked if we could see the property. She let us take a look and warned us that “it was a little dated”. We checked it out and it was the Taj Mahal by comparison. Had a wonderful stay! Thank you to the Waters Edge for saving our week.

I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: As far as the hotel itself, BIG improvements!!! We stayed 3 years ago and it was a terrible experience. Now, Big number 1 was 2 brand new elevators with nightly cleaning. #2, the office is so pretty and nicely staffed. #3 the landscaping is VERY WELL KEPT by volunteers and just delightful. #4 the bar staff was so fun and kind and happy! #5 NO FIREWORKS ON THE BEACH!!!! this is HUGE as last time our windows shook and shrapnel hit the windows and balconies
