We had a great time at this rental. The view is spectacular, the beach water also beyond expectation. The apartments was also wonderful. Bed is comfortable and balcony and wave sounds were wonderful. All positive except: zero condiments in the kitchen. Kitchen is fully stocked except any condiments. Bring your own coffee. No shampoo, conditioner either so be prepared. TV’s don’t stream and are very dated. Poor sound. That is the only negative. If you are staying here, it is wonderful and we would stay again. However, the area is poor and rundown. NOT after you get to the condo. Going out to eat is limited if you like nice food. If you just like fast food, you will be fine. We did find a nice resort about 20 minutes away with a great restuarant and shopping. It was called monkey pod (restaurant).

The unit itself was great—just as described. It was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. All the main tourist attractions were about an hour’s drive away, that can be hectic with traffic but we preferred to avoid the city life in Waikiki. My favorite part was the balcony view—it was absolutely beautiful. However, there were a few downsides to the property. We stayed for six days, and during that time, one of the elevators was out of service and the pool was closed. While the view was stunning, there were homeless encampments right outside the building on the beach side. Unfortunately, some individuals wandered into the property area, and there was an incident where clothing was taken from other tenants. One morning, we were woken up by loud yelling, and then witnessed a homeless walking across the beach nude, which was unsettling. It didn’t feel secure enough to leave personal items unattended while swimming or relaxing by the beach.Lastly, I was surprised to receive an additional electricity bill at check-out, which had not been clearly communicated upfront when booking property.

We loved the condo and on floor 13 had one of the highest views of the ocean in the area. It is almost to the end of the highway on the West Coast, so driving to major tourist areas around the island It takes a little longer from that location, but overall great place.
