Ocean Views w/ Private Ground Floor Patio | Fire Pit

We had a perfect stay at the vacation rental. The property management did a fantastic job making sure everything was just right. Easy to check in, clean and had all the amenities we needed. I would definitely recommend this vacation rental and management company. Thank you for a great vacation!

Very clean, close to water restaurants shopping. Kitchen well stocked , bed very comfortable. Communication was amazing. Happy to have had a fire pit it got quite chilli a few nights. Enjoyed our stay & will definitely rent again.

A quieter neighborhood since it’s not right next door to mission beach or pacific beach. It is close enough to walk to food and entertainment but you don’t get the noise. The only issue is that it has an upstairs apartment and you can hear their toilet flushing and water running, every footstep. They were conscientious neighbors however. I do recommend this place.

Very clean and nice furnishings. Well stocked kitchen. Steps from the beach and walking distance to restaurants and tourist shops. Beautiful views from front porch with sunsets to die for.

The place is really homey and love the layout of the house.. plus has a front porch and little side yard. Didn’t use all the amenities the house offers bec we’re out of the time. We just prefer staying in a house bec it gives you more flexibility to move around than a hotel. Thank you to the host, Drift Vacation staff! You are so awesome and very responsive to all our text messages. I just hope the neighbor upstairs is really happy dragging things around at the middle of the night.. but he failed to spoil our vacay. lol! Thank you again DV staff!

We had the best time at this property. One of our favorite ones. We loved having the outdoor fire pit as well as the fireplace inside. The property was well supplied with paper towels, toilet paper and towels. Owners were quick to respond and very helpful. 10/10 stay!

Very clean and steps from the beach. But..:The house is sorta a duplex with a long term renter who is extremely loud. Watches his TV at the max level and we could clearly hear the explicit dialogue. We could hear him talking in the phone and more. After I texted the management company they contacted him and he reduced the volume. He was back the next night.

My wife and I had an incredible stay at this beautiful house just steps from the beach in the Pacific Beach area of San Diego. The location is unbeatable—waking up to the sound of waves and enjoying my morning coffee with an ocean view was pure bliss. The house itself was the perfect size for the two of us, and it had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. While the house does get quite warm during the day due to the lack of air conditioning, we spent most of our time outdoors, so it wasn’t a major issue for us, but maybe if the house had pedestal fans that would be great because the ceiling fans make a loud ticking noise making it difficult to fall asleep. The property is well-equipped with amenities, including a gas grill and a fire pit, although we didn’t end up using them. One small downside was the noise from the upstairs neighbors, which we could hear quite clearly, possibly due to thin walls—or perhaps they were just loud. Additionally, the beach umbrella was missing, likely left behind by previous guests, which was a bit disappointing as we were looking forward to using it. Despite these minor drawbacks, the house was exactly as described, and the location couldn’t have been better. We highly recommend staying here for anyone looking to enjoy the best of San Diego’s beach life!

This is a very cute little beachside bungalow. It has a lovely view of the ocean. The front patio is really nice to sit around the fire pit and enjoy the ocean sounds. The home is newly renovated and has very nice appointments. The communication from the property management was great and they were always quick to assist with our needs. It was nice to have the garage to park our rental car and not worry about parking which is sparse. The location is ideal for walking to restaurants, bars, coffee shops etc. We highly recommend staying here for a beach weekend getaway.

We had a weekend event in LaJolla and decided to come into town early. We selected this property bc of its proximity to both the beach and Mission Bay. The home was clean with plenty of room for two. We both work from home and had enough space to do so. The WiFi worked great! Really appreciated having garage parking. Although busy during the day, the neighborhood was quiet enough at night and we could hear the ocean. Enjoyed wine by the outdoor fire pit also, with views of the ocean. Checkin and communication were great. Would definitely stay here again!
