Ocean Views - Updated 3/2 - Beach Place #207

We enjoyed our stay. The view from the balcony is great. The location is very convenient for shopping and eating. Beds were firm but comfortable, Our kids used the pool and enjoyed it. Kitchen was adequately equipped. We ate breakfast there. The elevator did stop working but they had it fixed quickly, so thank you to maintenance. If you want to enjoy John’s Pass you can actually walk under the bridge.

Building was secure with easy to use entry features. We will definitely book with Sunhost resorts again.

There is plenty of room for everyone, the kitchen is well stocked and it’s nice to have a key pad entry as to not have to worry about keys.

The floor was so dirty that our feet were covered in black just walking around for a few minutes without socks on. The dishwasher had standing water in it when we arrived which gave off a horrible smell.

Rental was awesome, however beds were not the most comfortable, especially pillows were very thin and worn. Also 3rd bedroom was advertised as queen bed but was definitely a full bed. Also, main tv should be upgraded to smart tv.

It would have been nice to have the basic kitchen items like coffee filters, salt, pepper, sugar etc, even in packets to get us started. We were required to purchase everything after arriving.Everything was in good working order with the exception of the dryer. It probably requires replacement, as it took 2-3 hours to dry a load on towels.The pool area was very clean and was attended to each morning. During the first week of our stay, however, every table was taken over as soon as (or before) the pool area opened at 9am, and was held all day whether the people were present or not. In one case 6 chairs were taken prior to 9am and only one was in use from 9am-12pm. We did speak with other guests and it seems to an ongoing issue. The second week was much much more relaxing, once these folks departed the property.Suggestion - have additional chairs stacked along the side. I believe that there were a total of 12 chairs for 5 tables. This way, even if people collude to take all the tables, there will be sufficient chairs in addition to lounges.Overall a great location and a wonderful stay.

The property unit 207 is clean although slightly dated. Because I am here for 5 weeks, my biggest wish was for a larger sweeper!!! The kitchen was well stocked. Comfortable beds and living room. Would like to use the patio more...any chance for a bigger table? Everyone at the Beach Place office is so very helpful and their maintenance staff is top-notch. We are coming back again next year to Unit 207. I have several friends all trying to stay at Beach Place Condo's. We have been coming to this condo for 28 years and have stayed in several wonderful units but am very happy with 207!!! I can't imagine going elsewhere.

The location was ideal, the views were gorgeous, the condo was nice but the overall facility needed a refresh. It felt pretty dated. Maintenance was a bit lacking and don’t get me started on the trash bags they leave you. Good place to stay if your expectations are realistic.
