Ocean View Condo - Ilikai Marina Waikiki Honolulu

Excellent location, 10 minute walk to the beach, awesome shopping, and delicious restaurants! ABC Store located right across the street for all your necessities, snacks, drinks, and grab n go meals. The condo had enough of everything for our family of 4, bedding, towels, beach towels. Owner included laundry detergent, dryer sheets, dishwasher pods, toilet paper, etc. These things are not commonly stocked for a whole week stay for a family of 4. The kitchen had all the appliances, dishes and utensils you would need. There were boogie boards, a sand chair, umbrellas, beach mat, cooler, ice packs, and so much more! The sofa bed was not very comfortable. But with a little ingenuity, we put the couch pillows under the thin mattress to give it more padding and comfort, it ended up being just fine. The owner had timely responses to our inquires. We would definitely stay again!

Look this is no Sheraton suite. Its a nice homely apartment that gives you that feel of being lived in and homely. The aircon was a bit noisy and some of the trim around the place was loose but overall its perfect for my wife and I. I wanted a place that provided a separate bedroom with a sofa bed in case our sleep patters were funked up. A kitchen that is a good size with everything you need to to either stay in or the basics for quick up and go - coffee machine, kettle, fridge pots and pans etc. The position was great for everything, especially as this was our first trip to Hawaii. Overall it was excellent for us. A place to come home to after a big day out being tourists. Close to anything you need. Happy to recommend and hopefully revisit in the future.

We enjoyed our 2 week stay at Jack's place. The location was perfect for us. We could go to the busy Waikiki beaches area or the local Ana Moana beaches area. We could walk to either or catch the bus with a HOLO card. The condo was comfortable for us and we loved the full kitchen. We bought groceries from nearby Foodland and prepared some of our meals. The nearby ABC was very convenient too. The Harbour Pub downstairs offered the best and cheapest happy hour with delicious pizzas. It was great overlooking the marina with distant ocean views. Great vantage point for the Friday night fireworks too. We would stay here again.

The location, convenient parking, and view was great. But the conditions of the bathroom and the building was average. The building is old and there were roaches. Maybe that's to be expected in Hawaii in an old building, but I personally couldn't sleep. Also, our water was turned off for nearby construction without notice so 3 of us didn't get showers one morning. I guess that wouldn't be a common occurrence, but the lack of notification was a problem. Parking was convenient but confusing, and the cost was $28/day, not the $23/day in the listing.

This was the perfect place for our needs. Really centrally located for both Waikiki proper as well as slightly less touristy areas. The condo was really well equipped including beach towels, beach chairs, sun umbrella, etc. I even noticed a stroller and a car seat (not something we needed but I was impressed that they were there!) The kitchen was obviously recently remodeled and we cooked a number of times, the bathroom was very clean but a little worn with the finish coming up from the tub. Zero impact on our pleasure or experience, just worth mentioning for folks to have realistic expectations. It was really quiet and it was easy to sleep. All in all a fantastic place and really reasonable for the combination of location and amenities. We already plan to book it again in the future!

The location is very convenient and perfect to go to the Ala Moana Shopping Center and Ala Moana park. I like the location is situated at the beginning of Wakiki and not that crowded. The property has a harbor view and is beautiful. Price is very affordable. The parking is in the next building and absolutely convenient. The owner, jack, responded very quick if I have questions. For sure, I will choose to stay in the property when I go to Honolulu again.

Great stay! Great location! The condo has everything you need - comfortable beds, nice kitchen, beautiful view, especially of the sunset! Jack, our host was awesome and responded asap with any questions we had. Highly recommend!

The parking was easya little pricey 35.00 per day but felt safe. Kitchen great, bathroom a little fated but clean. Location great.

Would have been nice if we were informed that the sliding door could not be opened. A little difficult to stay somewhere where there is no possibility of fresh air.

This is my second stay in Jack's condo.The view of the Marina, fireworks and sunshine from the outdoor space is an added bonus.The condo is always clean, bright and fresh feeling. And the bed very comfortable. Close to the beaches, shopping and restaurants. Chart House is in the lobby. If you have a car, the parking garage is in the building and you can park on the same floor as the condo. Jack responds quickly if there are any questions.

Was a great place and location!!! Parking was so easy !!!! And soooo many parking !!! And Waikīkī is the biggest problem when looking for public parking and god who knows if your car will be in one piece. As Waikīkī got one of the highest thief’s going on.

The condo was in a great location, easy to walk to the beach and restaurants. Had everything you need for your stay (kitchen items, beach chairs, beach umbrella, beach towels, cooler). Host was amazing at communication! The only downside was that the photos were a little deceiving. There have been several updates to the condo, however it could use new paint (the bedroom, bathroom, vanity had peeling paint which was unexpected and dirty looking). Not related to the room, but the harbor is not as pristine as the photos, it is full of garbage which was surprising after looking at the pictures on the listing.

Jack's place was a perfect location for accessing Ala Moana Beach Park and Waikiki. It has a lovely view for watching the sunset over the ocean and the Ilikai Marina. The kitchen in the condo was clean and neat. The carpeting was thick and clean. The bed was very comfortable. Hopefully you won't need to use the hide-a-bed. Jack has provided a number of amenities for families with young children -- car seat, playpen. Jack's instructions for getting to the condo were very clear and helpful. Staying at Jack's condo was a great experience!

The location was perfect. Friday Fireworks on your door step. Staff v friendly but no where to store luggage. Apartment had a balcony but only one chair

Quite good location. Apartment is a bit tired with paint peeling off bathroom door and walls, stained curtains and some towels were stained. Otherwise okay.

Everything is catered for staying at this condominium. It’s located close to beach, restaurants, shopping and amenities. Your Host is extremely helpful. I would thoroughly recommend as a holiday destination.

We had a great time in Honolulu.

The place was very nice, the kitchen was fully functional with everything we needed. They had beach chairs and coolers etc for us to take to the beach. It was a very comfortable, beautiful stay I would recommend. The chart house and the harbor bar shared the same building so that was also convenient.

My impression of this cute lil' condo, was everything we needed for our stay. Clean, Quite for the most part when there wasn't any construction. I'm sure its not like that all of the time. location was perfect, close to everything, within walking distance to beach, stores & nightlife. The condo was equipped with everything you could need. Even though we didn't need kids things it was available. car seat, pack & play and boogie boards.

Jack was awesome. Need to update the laundry hours. Clean, compfy and cozy.

Great experience. Good communication. Very comfortable condo. Within 15 min walk to downtown Waikīkī and only 10 min to Ala Moana Shopping center. Excellent view of the Marina. Had a few beautiful rainbow. Even appreciated the pretty/non white sheets and non white towels. Felt more homey.

Jack was a great host and the condo was great. We've stayed here before at the Ilikai Marina and these are really nice condos. You can't go wrong with the location at all. And, the descriptions are spot on. We'll stay here again when we stay in Waikiki.

Hubby and I loved this condo unit. Jack's communication was excellent! He provided a lot of info, recommendations, etc. The queen bed was comfortable. The AC worked well. The WiFi worked fine too. The kitchen was nicely equipped for our week long stay. The unit was very clean. The views from the lanai were marvelous (marina, lagoon, sunsets, etc.). The unit is on the north side of the building, so we found it to be surprising quiet for being right at the marina and above two restaurants. We went to the Harbor Pub and Charthouse restaurants (located below the condos in the same building) multiple times. Both restaurants have a great vibe and delicious food/drinks. Waikiki beach/shops are walking distance away, and lots of things to see. We watched the Friday night lagoon fireworks from the Harbor Pub. Parking was 33 a day, with in/out privileges, which was very convenient. We highly recommend Jack's condo unit.

Really nice stay and a great view Walking distance to most everything. Fireworks on Friday evening too. Everything you need is there. New carpeting on the floors. A bit of noise on the streets after 10 pm, but not annoying. We’d definitely stay again.

Yes, you do pay for parking but I felt it wasn't expensive. The beach and lagoon are very close. Restaurants everywhere and the Chart House entrance is in the Condo lobby. Good location, near the beach, and Ala Moana shopping mall. Might be a bit of a walk to the main Waikiki strip of restaurants and shops for some people, but we walked a few times to the other end of Waikiki beach and Diamondhead, so it depends.Great communication with the owner Jack.

We liked the condo, and the location is great! The space was a little tight for 4 older adults - probably more suited for a family with children. The parking is 33 per day.

Beautiful condo and great location. Host was very responsive. Expensive parking which may be normal in Waikiki. Only used the condo lot for two hours and it cost $20. Could be better explained in description. All in all though an amazing place to stay. Jack for the use of

The Ilikai Marina is a great location to stay if you are new to the island. Walking distance to Ala Moana and Waikiki strip. Fireworks at the lagoon are just a 5 minute walk and all the food in the area is amazing. Parking is pretty cheap compared to most hotels and the kitchen is great!
