Ocean One 422 - Beachside 4th Floor Condo

Unfortunately, the cleanliness of this property was very subpar. The showers are very disgusting and in need of cleaning and updates. The shower curtain liners were full of pink mold and the soap dispensers that were built into the wall look like they haven’t been opened or cleaned in many many years. I know this is a beach house and you can expect there to be some sand on floors, but I honestly don’t think that the floors were vacuumed and or swept in a long time. Sand was caked up on the bottom of my feet from just walking from the bedroom to the kitchen. I own beachfront property and my units do not have this issue. It has to be kept up with and it has to be cleaned. I would not recommend anyone to stay at this property until the owner and or property manager updates the bathrooms. The furniture, as well, is very soiled and dirty. Either it needs to be steam cleaned or new furniture needs to be bought.On a positive note, the location is fantastic and the check-in process was pretty easy

Six people staying and not enough cups provided to last one day, no paper goods, not enough garbage bags, no dish soap and only 3 pods for dishwasher to last 7 days. No napkins, or paper towels . No coffee filters. No beach towels. Night light burnt out and toaster not working. It was clean and a nice unit. All beds need to be replaced, hard and continually squeak every time you move on them. Beach was nice.

Condo was clean. Check in was easy. Location was perfect. Price was great because it is early in the season. Pool was great! Kitchen was nice! Grilling area was great! Bathrooms in 2 rooms need updated. Beds could have been more comfortable.

The host was very responsive and the kitchen was updated.

Nice property. Great location. Nice to have 3 beds for 3 bathrooms. Bathroom showers are older/ run down and need an update.

We had a wonderful stay at this condo! The location couldn’t have been more convenient—just minutes from shopping, dining, and anything else we needed. The pool was fantastic, and having such easy access to the beach made it perfect for our family. Check-in was simple and stress-free, which set the tone for the whole trip. The condo itself was spacious and comfortably accommodated our family of six without ever feeling cramped. Overall, it was the perfect place for a relaxing and enjoyable vacation. Highly recommend!

Fantastic in all regards. I’ll never stay anywhere else when visiting Hilton Head. Closer to everything, but quiet.

Upon entering the property we did not feel the overallCleanliness was very good. Location is amazing, and the actual Condo building is very well-maintained. Beach access was very easy. As for the actual unit, there was a hole in the ceiling in the front right bedroom bathroom, the microwave was taped with electrical tape, the fridge door was also taped. The place lacked a lot of kitchen items needed. There was no motor for the blender, but we did find the pitcher. The washer was broken and did not agitate the clothes. I was given a unit two floors down and a little walk to carry it all down and back up. Our internet was down for a couple days and we had workers in and out due to this which we found uncomfortable . The master bath has a broken diverter cap that would not stay in place and was just gross. The bed on the master squeaked so bad it wakes you up. The shower curtain was extremely dirty. The coffee pot had coffee, and burnt grounds in the pot. Utensils were taped together with electrical tape. Overall, I feel that this could be an amazing property if there was some money, and time spent on it. We own rental properties and I do think it could have been done a lot better. Also we had no vacuum to clean up sand. We had a small broom that I used and then used a wet paper towel to make sure it was gone. The floor was so dirty that the paper towel was black. Seashore was very responsive and did try to help with certain issues and did try to accommodate us!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The apartment was adequate. It was nicely decorated with decent furniture. The bathrooms were small except for the room with the twin beds that weirdly had the walk in shower. Loved the openness of the kitchen into the living area. We had a leak from the garbage disposal that was promptly replaced. A previous tenant had placed a bowl under it that overflowed. The balcony is a nice size but the furniture was uncomfortable. It looked freshly painted in nice beachy colors. Love Ocean One location and the fact they are constantly improving and cleaning. Great people work there.I would say the cleaners could pay a little attention to the top rim of the showers and the corners.

We had a great stay. The only comments are that there was only one roll of paper towel, no dish soap, one dishwasher pod and no shampoo or conditioner in the batheroom dispeensers.
