Ocean Isles Fishing Village is located on the oceanside of Marathon, close to many everyday conveniences. Guests can easily walk to Walgreens, Dollar Tree, and several casual local restaurants.



For beach days and outdoor activities, you’re just minutes from some of the area’s most popular spots. Sombrero Beach is about 6 miles away and is one of the most loved beaches in the Keys. Key Colony Beach is about 2 miles away and offers additional waterfront access and dining options.



Publix grocery store is approximately 4 miles away, and Marathon Community Park (about 5 miles away) offers public pickleball courts and recreational facilities.

The property is also conveniently located about 2 miles from Florida Keys Marathon International Airport, about 65 minutes from Key West International Airport (EYW), and roughly a 2-hour drive from Miami International Airport along the scenic Overseas Highway.



Getting Around:

Most guests arrive by car, enjoying the scenic drive down the Overseas Highway from South Florida. The home is also about 65 minutes from Key West International Airport (EYW) and just 2 miles from Florida Keys Marathon International Airport, where rental cars are available.



Parking is available for two standard vehicles directly under the home. Boat and trailer parking are not permitted within the community, but street parking may be available along the service road outside the property.

Many guests enjoy exploring Marathon by bike. You’re welcome to bring your own bicycles, or rentals are available locally in town.

Uber and Lyft operate throughout Marathon, and limited local bus service is also available.



For everyone's safety, please drive slowly within the community, as many families walk and bike throughout the neighborhood.

PARKING

Parking for two standard vehicles is available directly under the home. Boat and trailer parking are not permitted within the community. Limited street parking may be available along the service road outside the front gate.



PET POLICY

Per Ocean Isles Fishing Village HOA rules, pets and emotional support animals are not permitted for short-term rentals.

Service animals are permitted as required by law.



AGE REQUIREMENT

The primary renter must be at least 25 years old, unless accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.



LONGER STAYS (30+ NIGHTS)

For stays longer than 30 nights, the Ocean Isles HOA requires each guest to complete a background check with a $50 fee per person prior to arrival.



COMMUNITY GUIDELINES

Ocean Isles Fishing Village is a quiet residential community. Guests are expected to respect neighbors and shared spaces during their stay.

• Quiet hours are 11 PM – 8 AM

• Community speed limit is 5 MPH

• Fishing is allowed from the outer seawall and Atlantic-facing dock only (not inside the marina)

• Motorized vessels, boats, and jet skis are not permitted inside the gated property

• Kayaks, paddleboards, and other non-motorized watercraft may use the launch area

    Beautiful condo in small resort with a huge elevated pool looking out over stunning turquoise waters. My husband and I and our 11- year-old son came for a week. Our son did lots of fishing off the dock, caught quite a few fish, mostly threw them back but so much fun! The resort is centrally located with Walgreens and Dollar Tree across the street. Publix and Winn-Dixie are just down the road. The upstairs is really a gigantic loft with a huge king bed as well as large bunk bed with a queen on the bottom and double on the top. Our son said it was the comfiest he ever slept in. There are two full bathrooms which was nice. Things were quiet here in August-- the clubhouse was closed and we were usually the only ones at the pool--but we did lots of fishing trips. Seven Mile Bridge and Bahia Honda beach are 10 miles down the road. This unit works perfectly for a family of two parents and two kids.

    This place was perfect for our family. The place and all furnishings seemed brand new. The place was cozy and we enjoyed the bunks for our kids. Within the community we enjoyed fishing off the dock, paddleboarding, and using the pool. The central location was perfect and allowed us to explore all of the keys!
