Ocean front Carribean Beach-Private and Quiet Luxury Condo at Strawberry Grouper

Everything was perfect and as advertised, plus some. This place feels like a home away from home. Very clean! They have everthing you need for the beach and the pool which is just a short walk away. Cooking in? They got you covered either inside or on the grill outfront. The location was perfect! Quite. Yet next to everything. Red Hook is just 5 minutes down the street and has everything you need at any time of day. Best coffee, best pizza, best burgers, and of course sushi and seafood. Plus the ferry to St John is right there. We went to every beach that we wanted to see both on St Thomas and St John and 3 of our top 5 were within 10 to 15 minutes of this location. ITS WAS PERFECT for our famiky of 5. But maybe the most underestimated surprise to us was the information book they have made for guest. We were unsure of where to start for food,beaches etc. so decided to follow the recommendation in the binder provided by the host and they were spot on! So thank you for that! We will be staying again the next time around.

I’ve stayed at many VRBO or other rental company units. This was the best stocked unit I’ve ever stayed in. The kitchen had everything you needed if you wished to cook. I couldn’t believe it…many places have bare minimums. There were plenty of bath & beach towels. Beach chairs, an umbrella & coolers as well. But what I appreciated the most was that they left plenty of cleaning supplies/trash bags. You can tell that they’d like you to treat their home like your home. We were able to take good care of it without having to purchase these products on your own. The location, within minutes to Red Hook was awesome. We preferred this area to the larger Charlotte Amalie & all the cruise ships. There was a very informative info book that gave us lots of ideas. We loved the Strawberry Grouper and would recommend it to others. The beach & on site restaurants/bars made it easy to have some low key days/nights without having to venture far. Loved it!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay and can’t recommend this place enough! The hosts were fantastic—communication was clear, prompt, and incredibly helpful from start to finish, which made everything so easy and stress-free.The home itself truly had everything you could possibly need for a beach vacation and then some. Every detail was thoughtfully considered, and it made settling in feel effortless. On top of that, the cleanliness was outstanding—it was spotless and very well cared for, which we really appreciated. It was so nice not to worry about power outages since it had a generator. One of our favorite parts was how peaceful and quiet it was. After long days of exploring the St. Thomas and St. John, it was the perfect place to come back to and relax. It was a quick drive to so many restaurants and ferry. Thank you for sharing your home with us!

Beautiful place, lots and lots of beach extras, games and alot of amenities in the condo, great communication with the condo owner.Great location.nice area. Loved the view from the patio.Enjoyed our week in paradise!!

Absolutely wonderful! Exactly as described with lots of touches of home. Plenty of dishes, beach items to borrow, comfy beds, lots of dishes to cook with. Great condo! Would recommend and would stay again

The condo was truly very nice! Comfortable, extremely well equipped, very clean, nicely decorated with a tasteful seaside vibe. Beautiful view from the spacious terrace. Nice outdoor area. Lots of steps down to the beach but a beautiful chill beach. Grab your own chairs and put them where you want! Great restaurants and bars right on the premises.Thanks for your hospitality! Lovely, well kept, clean condo on the east end of the island. Restaurants and beach toy rentals on property with nice sandy beach. Condo stocked well with necessities. Good communication with owners. We did not have a car but taxis were always readily available. Just had a wonderful time. Would stay there again.

We had a fantastic stay at the Strawberry Grouper Condo. We stayed Jan 9-16,2026. Chris the owner was great to communicate with!The condo has everything you need from well stocked kitchen for cooking, beach and pool towels, games, books, to nice TVs in rooms. Ceiling fans and extra fans in the bedroom, plenty of closet space. Washer and Dryer along with ironing board and iron. Great view of Cowpet Bay. Stairs right next to condo to make your way to the beach. Chairs available for use at the beach, plus a beach bar and beach restaurant Sangrias. Pool use is available with supplied arm band. There is a station to rent snorkeling gear and kayak. A little store is available also to get beach supplies if needed. For an upscale dinner The Carribean Fish Market is right off the beach. Great food, reservations are a good idea. Location is great, just a short drive to Red Hook with many restaurants and some souvenir shopping. There is a small grocery store at Red Hook, we but stopped on our way in at Food Center. We really enjoyed staying at this condo, the owners made everything easy. There are so many things to do on the island and this location is perfect.

Beautiful condo in a quiet area! And amazing view from the balcony. 2 walkable beaches. Chris and Kim are very considerate hosts. Would definitely stay again!

Our hosts Chris and Kim were very friendly and accommodating. The goody bag with welcoming card they left for us was so thoughtful. Our unit was clean, lovely and fully stocked. Beautiful beach view and sunset from the balcony. Great holiday vibes all around. The beaches are so beautiful and they are all surrounded by mountains. What is not to love about St. Thomas?! We can’t wait to come back!

Everything was perfect , The kitchen was great, knifes were sharp enough to filet fish. The weather was perfect all week sea breeze kept the August heat to a minimal. Thank you for allowing us to stay at the Strawberry Grouper.

Our stay at Strawberry Grouper was nothing less than fantastic. The location couldn’t have been better and the condo was sparkling clean and gave that “at home” feel for the entire week. The owners were very helpful in all things USVI and very quick to respond. My only negative, we didn’t stay long enough. Can’t wait to come back.

We had a wonderful stay — the condo was clean, well-appointed, and very comfortable. The location was convenient to everything we needed, and the views were absolutely stunning. We really appreciated having beach chairs available. Highly recommend for a relaxing and enjoyable getaway!

Strawberry Grouper was a very clean and comfortable condo. We especially appreciated the well appointed kitchen (which is rare to find!) and BBQ since we like to cook each day. The location and views were great and the hosts were very easy to work with!

Fantastic location on East End of the island. Great jumping off point to catch ferry to St. John or day charters located in Red Hook or Sapphire. Easy access by car to restaurants and grocery. Large two bed room unit. Full kitchen. Well stocked. Our family of four was more than comfortable. Kids loved the pool.
