Ocean Dunes Villa 404 | Near Beach, Resort Pool!

We enjoyed our stay in this unit. Perfect size for our group of four.

4PM is the check in and no flexibility there. It was 109 degrees and coming in from out of state 15 minute early check in would have been nice. The elevator was an oven and surprised we did not pass out. The condo itself is dated but everything worked fine. The pull out couch was a rough night sleep. The air conditioning in the rooms needed more. Great access to beach. Did not try pool since it was standing room only. For the price I was expecting a little more up to date.

The unit is an overall dump. The interior walls are coming apart, pee stains on master bedroom mattress, wi fi didn't work, guest bathroom smelled like mildew. The plus was that the a/c worked well. I would never stay in this unit again in its current condition.

We came for a long weekend in June. The condo was in a great location with beautiful views, but we did have some issues. Because it is a keyed unit, renters have to stop by the rental office which is mid island coming and going. Most companies will text when the unit is ready if early check-in is possible, but keys are not even made available before 3pm, so if you go to the beach near the property, you have to drive well past Shelter Cove to get keys from VTrips and then return them there as well. I called on two different days explaining that the WiFi network listed (OcDunes 404) was not even an available option. Both times I was told a “work order” would be put in, but when we left, the problem had not been addressed. Also, there are no washers/dryers in the unit. There are coin operated w/d in the hall by the elevator, so come prepared with quarters. The unit itself has not been updated in decades. The bathroom sinks are very low, old paneling has been painted and is peeling away from the walls, and mattress pads are worn and not clean. I am usually not very critical of vacation rentals because I truly appreciate someone else allowing me to use their home, but this listing needs a lot of attention.

Overall, stay was great. Condo needs cosmetic repairs ( walls) and updating though. Check in / welcome information is incorrect and needs updating. Network log in and password are not correct. There is no need for the pool gate code or the outside bathroom buildings code. This needs to be updated. It would have been nice to have some dishwasher detergent and extra toilet paper.

Location of the property was great, right on the beach and close to coligny square. The listing showed multiple pools but we were only allowed to swim in one. The check in instructions had a gate code for the pools however two pools required braclets and the one we could actually swim in didn't require a code at all so I'm still unsure what the code was for. Called the property management office and the man that helped was nice but they had no clue about the details of their own listing or what that code was for. During the phone call the manager said they would remove the pictures from the listing that showed multiple pools. That did nothing for me since we were already there expecting multiple pools. Highly disappointed that we didn't have access to all of the pools on the property. The condo itself was over priced for how dated it was in my opinion. The wood paneling in the hallway and living was falling off the wall. The patio furniture was old wicker furniture that was literally on its last leg and falling apart. We were given one extra trash bag for our stay. The property management office that we are required to pick up and drop the keys off is not located on the property and slightly out of the way.

Great location and gorgeous views. The unit was a little outdated and had a musty smell. Would stay again.

We chose this due to proximity to the beach which was excellent but this particular condo was incredibly dated. The layout was awkward, walls are warped, ceiling peeling, linens were not great and the pool shown in the photos from the balcony are actually not the ones that are accessible for this complex. It was functional for our primary goal of beach but would not choose this property again.

The pictures use to sell you on renting this property is not accurate at all. The pools and clubs house shown in this advertisement is not the pool you are allowed to use in these condo association. The condo itself is in a great location. The condo was very dirty though it appeared clean upon arrival. The bedding was in very bad shape. The kitchen cook ware is in need of replacement. I would not rent here again.

The carpet in the bedrooms was very outdated, worn and the rooms smelled funny. The linens did not smell fresh. Stains on the ceiling and the living room wall. Definitely needs a touch up
