The Space:

Right across the river from Cincinnati, the city of Newport is a destination in its own right, with bustling streets and plentiful nearby attractions. When you’re not out and about exploring the many local shops and restaurants, this 2nd floor apartment is ideal space to call home with a bright and open living space welcoming you as soon as you step through the front door. But perhaps one of its best features, this apartment is located right on top of the 927 Reserve Bourbon and Cocktail Bar, positioning you just steps away from happy hour or a night cap.

The exposed brick of the building was preserved to give the home a historic feel but with plenty of modern updates throughout. The spacious living room is bathed in natural light, with comfy sofa seating and smart TV making downtime exciting. The efficient kitchen comes equipped with standard appliances, Keurig coffee maker, and toaster, with more than enough cookware and dining ware for the option to enjoy a meal at home. A high-top table for 2 is versatile enough for casual bites or more formal meals.

This home comfortably sleeps 2 guests in a bedroom encased behind a set of French doors and featuring an antique-inspired queen size bed. The full bathroom includes a single vanity and walk-in shower.

THINGS TO NOTE:

- Parking for 1 vehicle available on the back side of the building or on the street.

- Communal laundry is available for your stay, located in the common hallway area outside of the unit.

- This unit is a 2nd Floor Walk-Up; no elevator is available.

- This condo is efficiently cooled by window AC units.

- This unit's building is equipped with a total of 3 security cameras monitoring the hallways of common areas and the parking lot.

Just across the Ohio River from the Bengals Stadium, Riverfront Park, and Great American Ballpark, Monmouth Loft 1 is within easy reach of some of Cincinnati’s most popular attractions. Beyond this area, there’s still so much more to explore. From Cincinnati’s street art revolution which has transformed neighborhoods with 180+ public murals, to its serious beer culture, revitalized historic neighborhoods with trendy shopping and dining like Over-the-Rhine, and authentic Art Deco architecture and design, this culturally diverse city is a can’t-miss destination.

Back on the Kentucky side of the river, you’re in Bourbon Trail territory. Check out distilleries and sipping points where you can sample Northern Kentucky’s bourbon, often paired with traditional southern foods. No matter what you decide to explore, one thing is for certain. The Cincinnati metropolitan area has no shortage of experiences to try during your stay at Monmouth Loft!

We didn't try to watch TV until around 1 am the first night there and realized we wouldn't be able to. There was no TV remote, only an unhooked amazon firestick along with the remote. After hooking up and turning on tv with amazon remote, it was stuck on a setup option that required tv remote. This was very discouraging. I know it's only TV but what if I came to relax and only watch TV, that's my business. After calling customer service, I was told it was too late which I get. That someone would call me in the morning. That didn't happen. I had to call. Also had to wait 4 hours for it to be resolved. This hindered my trip as I didn't feel comfortable leaving my belongings with strangers in the room without me. Place is super nice though and felt very home-y. If you do not like street noise, bar/night club life noise, do not stay.

Very nice place to stay. We were there for a baseball game and it was a very good location to get to the stadium. Just a couple of suggestions, the clocks need batteries and some pot holders are needed in the kitchen. It was our first vrbo experience and we were highly impressed. Thank you!

The hosts were very accommodating. The apartment was in a quiet part of the town away from the hustle and bustle. It was a safe area across from the city police department. A nice bourbon bar was below the apartment with a welcoming staff.
