Stayed Jan 27, 2025We have stayed at Casa Costa many times and always had great experiences. This unit (315North) was our absolutely worst stay. Some of the issues were building related problems: we could NOT drive into the front circle drive as it was closed due to ongoing painting of the exterior areas; we had to park in the public parking areas to enter the building through the garage and found the unit's lobby lock-box was open and empty as the cleaning people had not finished and returned the key at our designated check-in time (3 pm). We also found the central lobby elevator was still NOT working (this had also been the case during our last stay in November 2024). When we did finally gain entrance to unit 315 N, we found it to be extremely dark with numerous burned out or missing light bulbs. no ice bin in the freezer compartment and the instructions for the TV didn't work; so we had to contact the host company (Rent and fun) to send someone to correct those problems. In addition, this unit was very poorly poorly equipped (miss-matched, chipped dinner plates (4); only 3 small plates and 3 miss-matched bowls. The glasses provided were a total hodge-podge of shapes and sizes as was the cutlery. The utility knives were so dull that it was nearly impossible to use them to cut any food products). That night at bedtime, I discovered that the king size bed was the most uncomfortable I've ever encountered. There was NO hot water for 2 full days; host's response was it's out of our hands!

Stayed Mar 18, 2023The condo is in a perfect location and very comfortable. You could not want more. I would suggest a few changes: 4 nice mugs, glasses, and wine glasses, kleenex (Dollar Tree - cheaper), at least 2 coffee pods, safety bars in the back and side of the tub (quite reasonable at Home Depot or Lowe's) I had such a good time. We ate at excellent restaurants where I had fish each meal. The beach was fantastic and your beach pass, chairs, and umbrellas were such a nice touch. Oh yes, the 5th floor and the pool were excellent also. Thank you so much for all that you've provided. Annette

Stayed May 8, 2022The place was clean and amazing. Spacious and had laundry in unit (that’s amazing for us New Yorkers). The business center and gym were great and there was always someone at the front desk to help. We will definitely be returning!

Stayed Mar 21, 2021Overall, the Casa Costa property was very nice; our particular unit not so much. The mattress on the bed was a nightmare, no pun intended. The couch was even worse , terribly uncomfortable. If you wanted to read there was no available lighting or seating to accommodate you. The chairs on the lenai were possibly the worst I've ever encountered. We tried them once and gave up. I could go on but that would be redundant. I guess you get what you pay for. However, I think it would be a good idea to advise the unit owner to make some needed upgrades.

Stayed Feb 1, 2020this was our 2nd stay at Casa Costa. It is a wonderful community. The unit was clean and had all the necessary cleaning supplies. The unit for this recent stay needs some mechanical repairs. The furnishings are new and very tasteful. The main problems were the thermostat doesn't work and if the air conditioning is on, it doesn't automatically shut off. The vertical blinds in the living room are broken and don't open. The washing machine only runs with hot water no matter the setting. The terrace needs a table and chairs. And lastly, the tub needs a grab bar. It was too dangerous for my 84 year old husband. In any case, we love the Casa Costa and would love to return.

Stayed Jan 17, 2020The place was very clean and modern. Building concierge and facilities were great. Beautiful pools, workout room, etc. can easily walk to some great waterfront restaurants. Easy drive to Delray. One thing you should know: this unit only comes with ONE key fab which is needed to get in and around the complex (elevators, etc). While the rental property manager was very helpful and responsive to my concerns, she said there was nothing they could do to get a second fab for this unit. It was a building issue, not them. I think this is important to know because it did create a lot of inconvenience if the two of us were not coming and going at the same time. The building concierge will buzz you in and give you access to the elevator, but if you want, for example, to go to the pool or back to the room separately, you can’t. Or for example, I took the fab to be able to get off off the elevator in the 5th floor to use the pool and return to the room when I wanted. He was going to play golf and realized he couldn’t get off the elevator on the 4th floor to go to the garage without the fab. Kind of annoying so I just thought I’d put that in my review. I feel bad because it is not the owner’s fault and I do t want it to negatively effect their ability to rent, but it is important to know . Some other units may have two fobs if there are two people that own it, but they don’t give extra fobs if owned by a single renter. Ask before you tent. It is only fair that renters know this ahead of time. Other than that, the place was everything we needed for a quick get-away from the snow.
