The booking staff was very helpful. The location I gave it 3 stars because the road was very narrow, nothing close by to eat or shop. Still had a great time. Would highly recommend it.

Reviewer Comments: We had a WONDERFUL stay at The Highlands, our family had been there several times before the fire It’s so so good to see out of the ashes something so nice has been rebuilt. Once we seen that The Highlands was open again it brought back so many great memories. Now we can start making new memories again. Absolutely a Beautiful place to stay. We will be back soon.

It’s perfectly located too, away but not too far from the busyness of Pigeon Forge and a handful of minutes to Gatlinburg. The views were from unit are spectacular, the Smokies while looking at Gatlinburg day or lit up at night. Also the staff there are so kind and welcoming. Would stay there again in a heartbeat!

Onsite management (Wes)was helpful. We will definitely be returning. Would recommend the Highlands for anyone that wants a great Mountain View and clean contemporary furnishings. We would recommend the owner add a hair dryer, an iron and ironing board, and some type of shade over the lomg windows in the LR as the sun heats this space up even higher n the winter. There is as a terrible glare on the TV from the long windows too so a ahade would really help. Otherwise, we enjoyed our stay.

From gorgeous bedrooms and thought-of-everything bathroom design we enjoyed our 5 day stay at this luxurious complex. The staff were more than accommodating and very helpful and kind. Special attention was paid to the freezing snow and the hallways were salted immediately. We particularly enjoyed the floor to ceiling windows in the living area and bedroom taking in the views of Gatlinburg, day and night, and relaxing in the Beauty that proved to be a majestic peaceful atmosphere. The fireplace put out some heated ambiance to this beautiful place. We appreciated the gym and equipment provided, as well as the large windows overlooking the mountains while you exercise. We can't wait to come back to experience the pool, hot tub and warmer seasonal activities!! Overall outstanding experience!!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The views were incredible. Location was a bit off the beaten path but driving was pretty simple. I would raise a small maintenance issue. Despite being there in the fall with highs in the low 70s the A/C had significant trouble keeping up. Understandable in the morning with the direct sunlight, but it was obvious that either the A/C wasn't rated for the apartment size or was malfunctioning.
