Near the Beach!! Wonderful 2 BR Lagoon Views Bikes & Beach Gear included

Good location, well equipped kitchen, could do with a coat of paint and little TLC but otherwise very happy with our stay. Would stay again for sure.

We booked #488 Captains Cove for our annual sisters trip. The location was wonderful, just a short walk (maybe 5 min) to the beach and pool. Kitchen was very well stocked with pots, pans, dishes and utensils. Furniture was clean and comfortable. My personal favorite areas were the decks. There is a screened in deck as well as an open deck on the back and a nice open deck on the front. There are plenty of chairs and loungers also. We made a little bird friend that showed up everyday on the dock out back on the canal. We also enjoyed the view of the canal. The only complaint is that the deck furniture could use some cleaning/updating. All in all a wonderful vaction! Thank you for letting us enjoy your place! Pat's Girls

The property was as advertised! My wife and I love coming to HH Island and this was the best location we stayed at. We will be back!

Well appointed condo with unique separation between bedrooms and main living space. Plenty of room and closet space. Excellent location near beach, golf, pickel ball/tennis, many bike/walking paths. Condo is a bit rated and carpets stained. Staff was very responsive to housekeeping requests.

The overall unit was great. The kitchen could use some better cleaning, and it is a major turn off when you see a mouse trap in the pantry.

We loved our stay at this Captain's Cove villa. Having a yard facing the lagoon allowed us to rent 2 kayaks for the week. The dock was a perfect spot to launch the kayaks or just sit and enjoy the beautiful view. It's a wide, lovely portion of the lagoon system, too, with visits from beautiful birds and a small alligator we named Gary the Grey. (Some homes in Palmetto Dunes are on the lagoon but in more narrow and stagnant portions.) It can be hard for me to find a mattress that doesn't cause discomfort; the king bed here was wonderful. The boys all had comfortable beds as well. The kitchen is large and airy with the huge windows and skylight. The flooring through the condo is new and attractive. We also enjoyed the living room furniture - comfortable, plentiful, and the orange chairs swivel. We appreciated the option of sitting in the screened in porch or on the outside deck. There was a lot of seating for both areas, and some newer rocker chairs that are great (and not in the pictures). The front porch is large and accommodated all of the beach equipment that we had, and I loved being across the street from the ocean and pool. I could hurry back home in just a couple of minutes when I forgot my book :-) If we make it back to Hilton Head, I would DEFINITELY book this condo. It's a great deal.

This is a lovely townhome with a beautiful view of the lagoon. The living room furniture is comfortable and appears relatively new. I had to reduce the overall rating because of the following reasons. The bedroom furniture is pretty worn out, other than comfortable beds. And, this place seriously needs updating. Kitchen appliances are old, including the stove with old ring-type burners on the stove top. Hilton Head water is tough on faucets and these should be replaced as they look terrible. The bi-fold door to the laundry room sticks badly and once I finally got it open I never closed it again. The bi-fold door in the bedroom also sticks. Bathroom wallpaper borders are way out of date. With these fixes the place would be just about perfect.
