Near Riverwalk, Hemisfair, Art & Dining Spots

It was such a great stay, literally everything was within the area of the apartment. I walked a majority of the time which I preferred but for sure near many accessible transportation choices. Clean, organized, safe and most things you could need is provided.

Check-in was very easy with instructions provided by the host. Everything was very clear, and we were able to get into the room without any problems. The room was cute, very tidy and clean. There were thoughtful touches such as spare toothbrushes, laundry soap, and a coffee station. Although the room has great A/C and a ceiling fan, they also included a portable fan, which came in handy for more direct airflow and the white noise of a fan. There was a first aid kit in the room and a handy board with all the door codes so we wouldn’t forget them. Very few negatives, and they can’t really be helped. I’m not fond of street parking, but I didn’t experience any problems with it here. The other minor thing is there’s a dip in the floor between the living room and kitchen—it’s an older building, so it’s to be expected. It was quiet in the room, and I slept very well. Overall, it was a very pleasant stay.

The property ia well kept. We enjoyed the area we walked to downtown riverwalk. The only concern is the water pressure is not very atrong and it takes the hot water a while to come through

This condo is super cute, clean and safe. I felt very safe with the two locked entrances. Great communication with host and Very close to the River walk. Will definitely stay again !

The studio was exactly what we needed. The kitchen was well stocked and clean. The bed was comfortable. The check in and out instructions were great….the video was a bonus. Thank you.

Great apartment in old historic building, King William district. The apartment is well-appointed and walking distance to downtown tourist attractions. The neighborhood is gorgeous! Responsive host. Highly recommend.

Perfect location and a great size for just the two of us. The bed was VERY comfortable. I actually ordered some of the blankets that were on the bed while we were in the airport coming home!

The studio apartment was great. The location is fantastic. Walkable to the River Walk and great neighborhood restaurants/bars. Street parking was very easy and communication with the host was flawless. Highly recommend.

It was a great place for my husband and I to stay. The price was very reasonable and located in a very nice neighborhood. Down the block was a diner, a Mexican restaurant, and another restaurant and some stores, etc. Maybe a 10-15 minute scenic walk to the start of the main area of the Riverwalk, the horseshoe. Less than 5 minutes’ drive (10 minute walk) to an HEB grocery store, where they had some organic fruits/vegetables and some gluten-free packaged options, etc. All of the above areas are safe to walk to and from. Our hosts were extremely quick to respond to any questions we had. They maintained good communication during our stay. The only concern we had was the shower had low water pressure the 2nd morning of our 2 night stay, but that was most likely due to the shower filter needing to be changed. The water pressure was great the morning before.

Great location! The studio is so close to restaurants and riverwalk. The neighborhood is nice with beautiful old houses. We appreciated the k-cups, cream and bottled water that were provided. We enjoyed the garden area for happy hour. Bed is super comfortable! Water pressure could be better, otherwise everything was perfect!

The host was welcoming and was very quick to resolve any issues we had. The place was clean. The water pressure was lacking. The host offered to come over and fix it

This little place is set up perfectly for a couple of people to really enjoy all that SA has to offer. Very secure. Great location! A lot of nice touches throughout. WiFi worked flawlessly, the couch was very comfy. The only reasons I can't give it 5 stars are really personal preference things. In no particular order, the pillows on the bed and in the closet were huge and what I would call over-stuffed and not comfortable. There were only two spoons in the drawer and generally were pretty large tablespoons. The garbage disposal would not turn on, I couldn't find the reset switch on the disposal and it was not plugged into a GFI so not sure why it didn't work. We didn't need it thankfully. The water pressure was very weak in the shower but not in the bathroom sink or kitchen sink. Not sure why? Maybe an over aggressive low-flow washer in the way on the shower head or the on-demand hw heater can't keep up with the need to allow for more flow in the shower? It was not awful to be clear. Lastly there was no tea kettle for boiling water in, (plenty of options on the coffee front) the pan I could find was too large and had a broken lid handle. The owners were very responsive, great communication and were going to take care of what they could ASAP so I wouldn't hesitate to stay again. I wish we could have seen the place and neighborhood in a more springtime like state. The patio looked like a great amenity too. We would love to come again.

The area homes are stunning! Felt very safe walking to and from the Riverwalk/Alamo areas. Driving in and around area is easy. The apt is wonderful! Just as advertised. The hosts answered any questions immediate. We would definitely stay here again if we returned!

We had a great stay in Southtown. The apartment is in an excellent location and the space is cool, quiet, and clean -- a perfect spot to unwind after exploring all that San Antonio has to offer. Moreover, the check-in process was seamless thanks to excellent communication from the hosts. Highly recommend!

I thought it was going to be hard to find parking in this area, so close to the Riverwalk, but parking was easily available to find and very close to the apartment!Probably just myself and not understanding the directions clearly at first after a long late drive, but I found the door combinations were JUST ever so slightly confusing at first when I arrived at the building. But when I read through the directions slowly, I understood them and was able to get in without an issue. The location was very nice and clean. If I was TRYING to find SOMETHING to say bad about the location, it would be the hot water/cold water temperature in the shower was the only thing that I could fault it for. It was a little hard to find a perfect temperature for the shower that wasn't a little too warm for our liking.....and even that's not really a complaint it's just the only thing I can come up with to fault the location for. Even with that being said, I would stay here again!

It was such a nice space it had good ac the tv was a bit glitchy at first but we didnt mind it. A lot of hidden gems near by I suggest checking out La bodega

I actually didn’t end up staying here because VRBO booked my stay when the property wasn’t actually active. When I arrived there were other renters there already. The owner responded immediately and put us up in a local hotel when she didn’t have to. I would try to rent from this owner again if given the opportunity due to her extremely good customer service.

The condo is just as it's stated very clean very comfortable and Joe and Stephanie are right there if you need them to be and it's so close to the Riverwalk and some great restaurants and we just had a wonderful time visiting with our family and staying in the little condo.

Hosts were responsive and helpful in every question we had. Parking was not as big of an issue as we were expecting, but it did get packed on weekend nights. Very lovely studio apartment and has everything you need to be settled in.

I stayed here with my best friend and we had a fantastic time! Everything was clean. It was so close to everything! We walked just about everywhere. Loved this place, would 100% stay here again!

My partner and I visited San Antonio for a wedding and this location was perfect! Nothing more than a 15-20 min drive away, super clean, and great hosts.

Very nice property. Beautiful studio apartment! It was perfect for the my wife and me. In a beautiful, well kept, historic neighborhood. It was less than a mile to the riverwalk and downtown. If in this area again I will definitely stay here again.

Very comfortable. I cleaned the shower floor on second use. Originally felt slick from soap film. Fine after that. I didn’t drink any of the water (bottled). Unknown if use was an additional fee. The apt was very cute and functional. The building was very nostalgic. Excellent neighborhood. Easy walk to downtown via Riverwalk.

The unit was perfect and the location is close to everything. The historic neighborhood has some amazing architecture. We parked the car and walked everywhere with ease.

We enjoyed our stay here. Very close to everything. We arrived late and our host was kind enough to have some eater waiting for us and gave us some late night places to eat.

This location was perfect: a beautiful, fun, safe neighborhood. We were able to walk to the River Walk, the Pearl Brewery, etc. Great restaurants and bars just minutes from the room too. And the hosts were awesome, offering up some great recommendations!

Overall it was fine. Clean, quiet and cute. The heater didn't seem to work super well, and the temperature outside dipped pretty low overnight! So we were really chilly when we woke up. The heat doesn't reach the bathroom too much, so it was very cold in there! We really were looking forward to some warm coffee in the morning. The coffee maker maybe needs to be de-scaled? It wasn't drinkable. There were flakes coming out when the coffee brewed and floating around in our cups. We took a walk to get some coffee, but the places listed online weren't there anymore.

The property is great and close by to many different opportunities in downtown san antonio. Despite some slight confusion with entering the property, the host was gracious and helped walk us along what we were doing incorrectly. The apartment is small but well organized, the kitchen comes fully stocked with utensils, cookware and some supplies.

My husband and I came to stay for a work event and it was just what we needed. You could walk to just about anywhere in downtown but the apartment felt safe and out of the way! The bathroom was small but was efficient and the host was efficient and quick to respond when we had a need. The bead was comfortable and the area was quiet at night.

This cozy little studio was very quiet and reasonably priced, and it's located in a lovely neighborhood that is conveniently located to the Riverwalk, the Alamo, etc. The check-in process was easy, and the hosts were very responsive to questions. While we didn't need it, it was nice to know that we had access to the laundry area as well.

Thoroughly enjoyed our two day stay at Joe and Stephanie's efficiency unit in the gorgeous and peaceful Southtown neighborhood in San Antonio!! The unit was spotlessly maintained and very convenient to the downtown area and a variety of restaurants right in the area. We would definitely opt to stay again on any return trip to the San Antonio area!!

We visited San Antonio for a competition, so we were on the go a lot. But the studio was perfect for our needs. I appreciated the extra towels. The hosts were very fast to respond.

Property is exactly as shown on the site. I felt safe with 3 keyless entries.The apartment is perfect for singles and couples. Plenty of extra blankets and towels and bath products.The only recommendation I have, is better pots and pans on the kitchen, as someone who cooked most of their meals while visiting. The neighborhood was quiet and immaculate. The locaton is perfect, within walking distance to restaurants, The Riverwalk, the Alamo and Towers of America. Would definitely stay here again. a

Fantastic neighborhood. Quiet yet close to everything. The unit was small and compact but perfect for a couple. Everything necessary was provided. You do need quarters to use the laundry so bring a roll with you.

Everything was nice and clean when we arrived. We had an issue with the water pressure when we got in and Joe came out and fixed it promptly. We never had any other issues the rest of the weekend and appreciates the quick service from our hosts. The studio apartment was in the historic King William district so it was just beautiful to walk through. Would stay here again!
