Baton Rouge, Louisiana
"We want to be your go to spot in Baton Rouge and offer weekly & monthly discounts. Since opening our first unit people have raved about the premium location, stylish Louisiana themed spaces, wonderful amenities, great communication and 24 hour self check in. The high demand caused us to quickly convert 10 of our 16 unit complex into Airbnb's. We're walking distance to downtown attractions, bars, restaurants, and minutes to LSU and Tiger Stadium.
We call this the Bellagio Room because the premium bed reminded me of a bed at the Bellagio in Las Vegas. So we finished it for maximum comfort with four premium Bellagio pillows. It'll feel like your sleeping in the clouds.
The building is located in Historic Beauregard Town literally blocks from all the downtown spots of interest. One block to the Raising Cane's River Center, USS Kidd Battleship and Museum, Old State Capital among others. Three blocks to third street with all of it's restaurants, pubs and other night life. LSU and Tiger Stadium is a 5-10 minute drive. If you're in for an LSU game the shuttle picks up and drops off only two blocks away. How convenient is that ! Additionally, the interstate is 10 blocks away. Getting around the city couldn't be any faster or easier.
It was built mid-century which gives it some unique qualities that don't exist in today's newer places, such as the exposed brick walls in the rooms. Classic New Orleans.
As mentioned the units are decorated with a Louisiana theme. We openly source local art and furnishing and repurpose and reuse items when possible. That's what gives each unit is uniqueness.
The kitchen is complete with microwave, smooth top stove and all the necessary utensils for those who like to cook. We provide a coffee maker and Louisiana's very own Community Coffee. It's a true local dark roast that will wake you up.
It's all about the extras and we've included some things we would want in a stay such as Towels from the luxury collection, nice and thick. And to top things off we include Matrix, exclusive for Wyndham, soap, shampoo, and conditioner. Pictures of all included.
There is a common courtyard in the middle of the complex to relax as well.
To top everything off we provide FREE, RESERVED parking which for downtown is a luxury.
So as we say in Louisiana, "Laissez le bon ton roulet!"
So very disappointed in my stay. Many negatives-let's start with NO SOAP in the bathroom,(troubling) no working hair dryer, old, moldy coffee grinds in coffee maker, SmartTV with inconsistent cable connections. Contacted host, Paul throughout my stay with concerns...did not hear back from Paul for 12 hours and all I got was several apologies. Contacted Paul again after stay and still waiting to hear back from him. On 2nd night of stay, frightening altercation between a couple in the hallway-not sure how it ended but we think we heard police involved, so not very safe place either. My advice? You can find a better place to stay and you won't have to buy your own soap!
The place is in need of new furniture and appliances. AC unit is loud and smelly.
One of the best we have rented. So much too do downtown . Easy walk to everything. Great communication with owner. Unit was excellent ? We will stay again.
The property manager was very accessable and helpful. The rooms were nicely decorated and comfortable. For the most part the untit was very clean with the exception of the vent in the bathroom. The AC is uniquely configured and could be done better. The courtyard and exterior walkways needed cleaning. The drainage from the AC units created slick surfaces in shady areas of the property. If you are not able bodied this property is not for you.
Great little apartment walking distance to everything down town. Host was very informative. Would stay again.
The property was very easy to find and easy for me to get to the events I was participating in for the weekend.
Location is great! One block from a beautiful sunset on the water every night! Enjoy restaurants, attractions, State capital and LSU campus. Favorite things to do were electric bike rentals along the water at sunset and around the city! Even bike to the LSU campus to see “Mike the LSU tiger.” Locals are friendly and provide great local spots to see. Food is AMAZING! This place is a great price if you are going to spend the day/night seeing Baton Rouge! Sleeps two comfortably.
