HOUSE RULES

Smoking and vaping are strictly prohibited at all times inside the house and on the terraces.

A cleaning fee of $500 will be charged if this rule is not respected to ensure future guests enjoy a smoke-free environment.

The property is located in the mountains, where wildlife is present.

For everyone’s safety, please never leave food or food waste unattended on the terrace.

Always close the BBQ lid after use and cover it once it has cooled down.

Bears are attracted to leftover food and will not hesitate to knock on the door.

This rule is essential for your safety.

Bear spray is provided in the unit for your safety. Please return it to the wall hooks before you leave. A $70 fee will be charged if it is missing.

Quiet Hours are between 10:00 PM and 8:00 AM.

Neither parties nor events will be permitted on the property. The maximum occupancy for this unit cannot exceed more than 5 people ( MAX 4 adults) .

We provide high-quality hotel linens for our property and proper makeup removal cloths. Any stained linens will be charged to the guest.

COMMON BBQ AREA & LAUNDRY

You will have easy access to the coin-operated laundry facilities on the first floor, and the common BBQ area outside.


CONSUMABLES

Please note that we provide a starter supply of consumables (toilet paper, paper towel, coffee etc.) but do not provide refills during the stay. Pink Salt, Whole pepper, vegetable oil,olive oil and balsamic vinegar are available in the unit for your convenience.

The general store is located in the same building as the unit and has everything you need for a comfortable stay—no need to drive into town.


Cleanliness and Cleaning Protocol

Cleaning is done according to a strict and thorough protocol.
The space is carefully cleaned and disinfected before your arrival.

Dated photos are taken both before your arrival and after your departure to ensure everything is in order.

This helps protect both you as a guest and me as a host.


POOLS and HOT TUBS

Please know that there is no lifeguard on duty at the pool area. Kids under the age of 14 are required to be accompanied by an adult at all times. We also ask that you please refrain from bringing glass on the pool deck.

    We arrived an hour early and the host was gracious to let us come in sooner. Home is very quaint. The surrounding area is lovely. However, Panorama itself does not have a lot of amenities during non-ski season. You need to provision BEFORE you get to the property. Invermere is 20 minutes away for food/gas. Stairs leading from garage to condo are steep! The condo itself is lovely and would stay here again.

    A lovely cozy apartment that served our needs perfectly. Super close to the trams to get you uphill, gorgeous backyard with river and mountain views, quiet, clean, had everything we needed. Honestly a terrific place for a doable getaway that doesn’t break the bank. We are so appreciative of finding this little gem!

    We loved our stay at the Modern Bear Retreat! The condo is well stocked with all the amentities- we cooked all our meals in the condo and had eveything we needed (both bbq and stove work well). There were also games, puzzles and cozy blankets for the children. Great use of space in the condo with comfortable beds for all three children in our family. We really enjoyed the convenience of being ground level and being able to walk off the patio to a peaceful green space overlooking Toby Creek- so pretty and a lovely space for morning coffee. The host quickly and clearly responded to communication. We can’t wait to come back!
