Modern Beach House on the Sand

The location is what sells! Beautiful location. Couldn't have been better. The condo itself could use some updating, upgrade the linens, towels, cutlery, and kitchen towels. The TV in the living room is up in a corner with wires dangling down and plugged into a floating power strip....not nice to look at. Kitchen cabinets are all very warped and squeaky. All in all the things that could use improvements wouldn't necessarily stop me from staying here again. I'd probably bring my own linens and towels in the future.

The house was perfect. We enjoyed the beautiful views! The host was great as well. We can’t wait to go again.

The location was incredible! What a fantastic view! The location was walkable to restaurants and bars. We had some trouble with the stovetop not working very well and the kitchen was minimally stocked. Other than that we had a great time in the property.

The views were absolutely amazing and we loved hearing the waves day and night! The place was definitely dated but the bed was comfy. However the place was dirty and unkempt. It looked like no one had stayed in ages. The bathroom and kitchen seemed pretty clean. But it was dirty in the nooks and crannies. Dirty window sills, vents, broken lamps, broken window, leaking roof. We took my mom for a treat and she loved the waves but I was glad her vision kept her from realizing how dirty it was.

The ocean view from the unit’s balcony, huge windows or sandy ‘backyard’ is stunning. We love staying in Oceanside for this reason. We also love the proximity to the pier, harbor (for whale watching and fishing), and restaurants.This unit also has convenient, dedicated parking which can be hard to find on the coast.

Host was wonderful at answering quickly to any questions we had. Very peaceful area. The one thing that I would say is that the vents in plain view could be cleaned.

Excellent place to stay...right on the beach,near restaurants, grocery stores and activities for the kids.Couldn't have asked for more...We wenrt to sleep every night to the sound of the waves. The property manager was amazing and took care of all our needs. We will be returning again.

Right on the ocean. Our main goal was to do nothing and watch the waves. This place filled the need.

we had to mop the floor, the guy came with a bucket of water?? My husband went thru 6 swine pads. We had to wash the throw rugs, wash the main bed spread and pillow shams

Place was beautiful, close to downtown and lots of things to do. We enjoyed just sitting down by the fire pit and watching the waves.

Do you want to hear crashing waves all day and night? Then this is your place. This is an ocean front property with your own private beach to watch the beautiful sunset. My teenage kids loved the area and the use of the surfboards was a plus! The house is a little dated and we had issues with ants attacking our dog’s food. No matter where I put their food, the ants found it. Thank goodness I live close enough to take my dogs back home for the last night. So, beware if you’re planning on bringing your dog. Other than that, it was a great trip.

As soon as we had an issue (2 small ones) it was addressed. We appreciated the electric grill and, especially, the access to the beach and fire pit and the ever changing ocean views from the two giant swivel chairs. We wished the inside fireplace had worked and the sparkling new kitchen counter was on top of older cabinets and appliances, but overall it was a great stay, just right for our group, and we hope to stay again next year! The kitchen was the most beautifully organized of any bnb we've stayed in -- appreciated that!

Quiet and wonderful. Waves are heard from every room and big front windows make for stunning views.Brand new BBQ. Place needs some updating as it’s older, with that being said the price was fantastic for that superb location.

We loved Oceanside and this property. Everything as advertised was great. Internet went out and property manager got it fixed within half day. Picture windows cannot be overstated in terms of view and five people fit nicely in two bedrooms - bunk beds a huge plus

We loved our stay in Oceanside at this property. The large window in the living room is great for watching the waves roll in, surfers and dolphins every morning. The only thing I would suggest is that the kitchen and bathrooms need to be updated.

Had a wonderful few days enjoying the sea air, the ocean view, and being right on the seafront. The unit has some upgrades, the new windows on the ocean side block a lot of the wave sounds, which are loud during high tide. We’ve stayed at similar places that hadn’t upgraded and this one was a nice surprise. The next biggest plus was being dog-friendly. Thank you, owners, for allowing that. It’s a casual beachy style, not fancy, but comfortable. The garage and off-street parking are a huge plus in that neighborhood. I’ve a bad knee, so having no stairs was wonderful. Walk straight in from the driveway. Cheryl, the manager, was very responsive and helpful. We would certainly stay again. :)

Nothing what we expected. The front screen door was so rusty I didn’t want to touch the door to get the key out of the lockbox. The living room TV was tied up to the was shelf with a strap, the back screen door almost fell off every time we opened it and cheep bedding ,worst house on the block ..but on a positive note the view was incredible and the beach was great at low tied

We had a great family stay at this property! The hardwood floors throughout are gorgeous. The kitchen is spacious and has a stainless steel refrigerator. We cooked a few meals- the unit is stocked with most kitchenware you would need and dishwasher. The burners on the stove are a little crooked, but it works fine and wasn't an issue for us. The beds were comfortable and you can hear the ocean from either bedroom. Each bedroom does have a window that opens for the breeze, but they do not face the ocean. The master bedroom has it's own bathroom and walk in closet space. The TV in the master is equipped with Amazon Prime for movies and TV shows. I think it has Netflix as well, but we couldn't get it to work. The living room TV had Hulu and a few others. The living room is great!! The floor to ceiling windows with comfy round chairs in front are absolutely unbeatable!! The balcony was spacious. There are 2 chairs and a small table, but you could probably fit 4 chairs if needed. The fire pit was nice, especially at dusk for the sunset. My husband was able to fish right from the backyard at any time. At high tide the water does come right up to the rocks, but at low tide there is a beach and plenty of room to enjoy the ocean or walk along the beach. The unit is close to just about anything you need or want to do. Great location! I would definitely stay again!
