Mission Beach Villa 4BR Bayfront w/ Rooftop Deck

Location was ideal for our family with young children access to the beach and local attractions made it for a fun long weekend!

Terrific property. We had a large family gathering but many couldn't come in Sat to Sat which is necessary during peak seasons. So, they came Thurs to Tues and so forth. Terrific part is that we could book the overflow at the Catamaran which is just steps aways and essentially enjoy that property as well since we had many rooms there. Property in great shape. Two issues. It's not a two car garage. Certainly if one puts a Lexus 570 or bigger SUV in. Maybe two small cars might get wedged in, but that's it. Again, we used the Catamaran for parking of excess vehicles by putting them on a family member(s) room. Second, one towel and one bedsheet per person was not generous, especially for a longer stay--we are there two weeks.

This is a fantastic property in a great location! The Mission Bay location was great and safe for kids with a very quick walk to the ocean with lots of things to do. We will definitely be back!

Overall great experience on the beach with friends and family. Plenty of space to stay on a great beach on Mission Bay. Water activities nearby and restaurants. The home was clean, and spacious and matched the listing. Highly recommend. Flawless stay begging to the end.

It was an awesome place! Had only a few issues…one of the queen bedrooms said it was actually two twin beds…noticed later in their book on the premises it is called the Twin Room… and not an en-suite room as described as bathroom is outside the room across small hallway…and one other queen room was more the size of a double bed? Possibly a disconnect between VRBO and management? Should also mention that it is a spiral staircase to get to each level. Kitchen is completely stocked for any kind of cooking needs! Owner’s property manager was super nice and attended to any issues promptly. It is in a beautiful location and can see the fireworks from Seaworld! Great place for family to relax and enjoy both the Bay and the beach just two blocks away. Highly recommend if the bedrooms work for your group. The master is large with incredible views and very comfortable! So many nice things about this unit!

This place was perfect for our stay. We were celebrating our daughter's graduation from SDSU and the whole family came. Everyone had their own room and bathroom. The location was amazing - right on the sand of the bay. Gorgeous mornings and evenings. I own and run three Short Term Rental Properties at home so I may look at/ obverse things a little more critically than some. The really good: * The unit is clean and well-appointed. * Great new couch - VERY comfortable and plenty of room for everyone. * Location Location Location - amazing. * Garage for the car and easy parking - Two spaces for this unit in the garage. (Shared garage - third bay is for the other unit - just make sure they remember to close their door) * Large kitchen and dining table - plenty of room for everyone. * Outdoor BBQ was clean and easy to use. * Really nice outdoor space. * Lovely gift basket on arrival - Extremely thoughtful. * Met the VERY nice handyman / owner's eyes as we left - alerted him to the maintenance issues. * Fully stocked kitchen - everything you might need. * Very nice, high-quality linens. Really appreciate this. Good to know: * The stairs are spiral (friend could not go upstairs due to vertigo) - ALL bedrooms are up the stairs. * Property Management company was hit or miss - Received automated texts from them about move-in and move out. Responsive before we moved in - NO early check-in available. I sent a message right after check-in - no response - ever. They were at the door at 10 am to check on the property - So be ready to leave right on time. * there is NO time between clients. They were still cleaning when we arrived to check-in and they were there are 10 am sharp. * The patio shares a common wall - we had the nicest neighbors EVER - but if someone not so nice is next door - it could be uncomfortable. It is also dog friendly which is fine and we are pet people - but when they left the dog behind it cried for hours - We just turned the TV up - but it might bug some people. * The remodel of the unit was very well done - but over time there is definitely some deferred maintenance that could be done - broken tile and some older appliances/kitchen items. * Blinds on the third floor are tricky and the one over the master bath was broken (let them know - so I hope it is fixed for you!) Overall it was perfect for our needs. Clean and plenty of supplies, linens, etc. The location is AMAZING.

I was awestruck when we walked through the front door. The view was picture perfect, and only got better on the second and third floor. Then we realized how beautiful the Villa was. Decor is tasteful and thoughtful. The location allowed us to go easily between Mission Beach and Pacific Beach, but return to the quiet of the bayside.

The location was great. With sand at your doorstep the kids were in heaven. We all had a great family retreat.
