Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Beautiful grounds and swimming pool. Beach is rocky and not for swimming but good to walk it and see some sea creatures.Apartment is nice but found it to have only bare necessities. Would be great to have an air fryer to assist in the cooking since bbq is 5 floors away. Would be nice if they had basic necessity items like laundry detergent for the price. No pen or paper to be found. Apartment had a a bad odor upon arriving. Not sure if it was cleaning supplies used or being closed up too long.

Staff are friendly and efficient, and it's located near lots of cafes and shops. I highly recommend it.

We especially enjoyed our lanai both mornings and nights. Some street noice is inescapable but the rule of quiet night hours seem to be followed by the renters.Definitely a place we recommend and will try to come back to!

We had an issue with the A/C and maintenance came right away and fixed our issue. Would recommend anyone to stay at Maui Sunset.

Reviewer Comments: I've done a lot of traveling and by far for the price Maui Sunset was the best place I've stayed in. they keep the place looking beautiful and the rooms are fantastic. The rooms have alot of room and a balcony and table for a morning breakfast if wanted. Everything is close to you also. this is the kind of place you will tell yourself, I could live here.

We spend a month here every year in the fall in a time share we own We decided to come for an extra two weeks this spring and rent a unit. The rental company was really helpful. There were uncharacteristically a few glitches in the rental unit when we arrived, but Ed from Maintenance is always incredibly responsive and helpful. The new addition of music one afternoon a week, in the beautiful courtyard behind the pool, is such a welcome new idea. So much fun. Best pool in a condo complex on the island. The grounds are immaculate and so beautiful. The Maui Sunset is without question No Ka Oi---the best.
