I have stayed in this condo several times and have had wonderful experiences. Everything we needed was there.. even a coffee bean grinder that I found too late!! The host & hostess were amazingly available if there were any concerns. The grounds are beautifully maintained and the BBQs are cleaned each morning. Our holiday was one I shall never forget because of the huge storm and flood that “stole” our light for 28 hours, made S Kihei road a river and made us all thankful for the maintenance crew. Maui Sunset and our condo made for a restful, relaxing and affordable holiday on the ocean front.It was our safe place during a Maui storm!

The location, amenities and atmosphere were perfect! My fiancée and I had an absolutely perfect week at the Maui Sunset. We used all of the chairs, towels, snorkel gear and boogie boards, plus enjoyed eating out on the Lanai and watching the sun move through the sky. I even saw a rainbow one morning just after waking up! The highlight was snorkeling off of the beach just the two of us and seeing sea turtles all around us in crystal clear water. You can’t beat it. We would love to come back!

Perfect location. Very close to everything, including the beautiful beaches, restaurants, grocery stores etc. The room is perfect for our family of 5. The beautiful sunset that you can see right by the lanai is incomparable!

The host is so kind, quick response to any questions we had.

We had an amazing stay. The condo was clean and had what we needed including the small appliances (rice cooker, blender, etc) which was great. The beds and pillows were comfy. There were beach chairs, boogie boards, snorkel gear, pool noodles and some beach toys. The lanai has the beautiful heat beaming on you in the mornings and over looks the well kept grounds. My kids loved playing shuffleboard and loved how big the pool was and that it also had a deep end (8ft). We loved that there was beach access, where you can watch the sunset. The area is walkable to the food trucks and shops and a short drive to other beaches. The host was amazing to deal with and was very prompt with her replies. We would definitely come back and stay at this condo!

Very clean place with great views! We saw more turtles at the beach than we did anywhere on our stay here. Close and easy access to shopping, beaches and many other things to do. Would definitely recommend this place!

Place had hair on the floors and tub. Kitchenware really needs to be updated. Pullout bed not in good condition. Need to go elsewhere for the beach. The property beach area was very small and not a place to hangout. Beautiful though.Location was good for travel easy access to travel to other locations on the island. Pool/hot tub were nice and well maintained although their snack area was never open. Friendly staff.

Fully loaded home! Had everything from olive oil, towels, to rice cooker etc!!! Extra pillows blankets! Owner was very responsive and detailed with directions. Beds were very comfortable! Beautiful views by the beach! We even encountered very large turtles. Loved the community hot tub!

Apartment was well appointed for our family! Pool and hot tub were great in the evenings. We loved the boogie boards, beach chairs and towels.

We initially looked into staying at Oahu for our Hawaii vacation but after looking at the marvels at Maui we quickly adjusted travel plans. Thank goodness we found this VRBO for our stay at Kihei. We found this property lovely and convenient. The grounds and atmosphere was topnotch. The owner's communication was very responsive and we appreciated the beach equipment included at the rental. My only gripe was that the AC in the master room was a bit loud but you can manage without it with the ceiling fan. Thanks for having us, Mahalo.

Property grounds is clean and well maintained. Unit is as described on the listing. Property is close by to everything you need. Check in process and communication with the host is easy.

Stayed for 3 nights with my partner. We were very pleased with our condo and the grounds. Unit was very clean and well-kept. Lots of beach equipment to use.

Wish we could've stayed longer.

The location is great. We’ve stayed at the Maui sunset before and would stay there again. Pool is great, right by the beach, lots to do in kihei. The only complaint is that the place wasn’t adequately stocked withToilet paper, dishwasher pods, etc. This very well could be on the property manager and. It the host. Overall it was. A good experience and great vacation.

Our Kihei stay was pleasant. The location is great to head any direction. We loved the property, pool & hot tub. My 12 yr old said sofa bed was comfy, as well as 16 yr old on the twin bed. The king bed in the master was also comfortable (not too hard). The AC in the master was excellent. The AC in the kitchen/dining area was good (not as good as the Master, but also a bigger space to cool). The condo is right by the elevator which is convenient. I worried we would hear parties waiting for the elevator, but not a peep, everyone was very respectful. Be aware there is very little room in the master to live out of your suitcases & not enough drawer space to unpack. It worked, but made things cramped in the master.3 suggestions for owner:1. Keep a couple of shelves in the cupboards for guest groceries. We had nowhere to put our groceries & had to move cups/misc items to clear out 2 shelves.2. Fix the dryer so the heat works better. Takes 2 cycles to dry a load. We had more luck with the timed selection of 50 mins instead of just hitting normal dry. We kept the loads small, but the dryer is weak. We emptied the lint filter, but it didn't help any better.3. Ceiling fan in living room needs to spin faster for airflowYes, We would stay again. It was clean, convenient & provided a place to make Breakfast, dinner & pack lunch for on the go. Very well stocked with supplies. We did use beach chairs, boogie boards, sand toys & cooler bag. Amazing week staying at the Maui Sunset in Kihei, Maui. Ron and Mary-Ellen were fabulous hosts as usual! This is my third time staying in the unit! Great times and we even saw turtles swim up on the beach right out front of the beach in front of the condo. Will be back soon!

We had an amazing time in Maui. The suite was an excellent home base to enjoy the island from. Pool was large and lots of space to lounge and enjoy, large hot tub for evening visits to the pool, grounds are immaculate, and the renovated kitchen was great to prepare meals in. The added bonus of beach chairs, umbrella, boogie boards and snorkel gear made things very convenient, We will book again in the future.

Condo is clean and easily accommodated our family of 5. Having two bathrooms really helps! Kitchen was nicely stocked and the condo even had 4 beach chairs, 3 boogie boards, and snorkel gear. Loved the balcony, even though the overhead fan and light wasn't working. The grounds are fantastic, with a pool, hot tub, putting green, tennis courts, shuffleboard courts, herb garden, carpet-like green grass, and oh yeah a beautiful beach!

Absolutely amazing spot to enjoy and explore Kihei. Perfect location. Unbeatable sunset view. Great pool. Would stay again.

Our 2nd year staying as a family of 5. We love the condo, the new renovations are beautiful and make the space feel bigger and brighter. The grounds and pool are always in perfect condition. We had went for daily walks, went to the beach, the pool and ate lots of delicious food on repeat for 11days. It was perfect all around. Thanks again for having us back!!

The location of this property cannot be beat! It sits directly on the water with the most amazing sunset views and dozens of sea turtles swimming along the shore each evening. The amenities at this property are wonderful and well maintained. The unit itself was clean fully stocked with everything needed for a comfortable stay. What I liked most about this unit was that the bedroom had its own AC unit, which made for extra comfort. The washer and dryer in the unit was also a huge plus! The views are amazing from this unit and it is very quiet due to the location within the building and complex. I would highly recommend looking no further and booking a stay at this unit!
