Matapalo 101-Poolside Condo at the Diria Resort

Wonderful property. Check in was a little difficult we booked transportation to the Dira resort months in advance then got a link a couple of days before the trip with coordinates to the condo. Our driver had a hard time finding the condo entrance. We only know a small amount of Spanish so I ended up just having to give the driver my phone to find the place. There isn’t a sign outside of the condo gate or anything so that was also confusing on if we were at the right place. Besides that everything was great. Clean, spacious, right by the pool and within walking distance of everything. Well stocked with things we needed. The kids loved it.

Great, spacious condo. Loved the layout and 1st floor, poolside location. Equipped with everything you need (including beach towels and chairs), and hosts are very communicative and helpful.

Great property

Great location in Tamarindo for ease of access to the pool and beach! Our family of 4 stayed in July. The pool is steps from the condo’s patio. The beach access is very easy, just across the street from this complex, with a crossing guard to help most of the time. The provided beach chairs made it easy to go and enjoy the beach. There are a few markets to pick up some food if you want to cook a few meals or just have snacks for the pool/beach. The condo itself is large and very comfortable. Plenty of space to hang together or get some quiet time. (The units on the higher floors in this complex have great views of the beach/sunset… but for us the ease of access to the water was preferable, and it’s a very short walk to get the great views on the beach.) Highly recommend this property and the company was easy to work with and great communication.

This condo was wonderful and convenient to downtown Tamarindo. It was very clean and the pool was nice. Communication was great. Would definitely recommend staying here.

We had a great time at this condo. The location is very good and the pool was not crowded and provided a great respite for the hot season. Having small children, it was a bit tough crossing a busy street to access the beach, and we did have an issue with one of the toilets upon our arrival. After leaving, we were also charged for cups at the condo that we did not take with us, and upon booking, it was not overly clear that we would be paying extra for a crib which was listed as an amenity. We did enjoy our time here but found some of those challenges to limit my opinion of this place.

The property was just as described. The pool was wonderful. Very convenient to everything.

We absolutely loved the condo and pool was huge and really nice. The grounds were well landscaped and maintained. We loved being able to walk to restaurants, shopping, excursions and the beach. No need for a car. I highly recomnend this location.

This was my first time to Costa Rica. Took a group of 8 that were from teenage to 80. I knew we weren’t gonna change locations or travel the country. We wanted a home base where we could enjoy the ocean and relax.This condo was absolutely amazing. We spent a week switching off between the pool and ocean (which was extremely close). The condo was huge, had plenty of sleeping room, the AC was amaaaaazzziinnnggg. If you’re on the fence about this place …. Let me help you … it was fantastic. The pool was 80’ out the back door, iguanas, monkeys in the trees, swim up bar, I could go on but I won’t.

The property and location was perfect for our family of five (including 3 teenagers)! Plenty of space to stretch out but a great table for us to come together to play cards at night. The pool right outside our door was perfect (hello swim up bar!) and the resort was walkable to all our dinners. I’d highly recommend!

Loved the condo . It was only steps to the pool, and a couple min walk to beach. Just Steps to tons of restaurants, bars and shops!! Condo had everything we needed for cooking. Enough bath and beach towels for our party of 8! Whenever we were at the condo, we spent our time on the porch over looking the beautiful pool! We did have a problem with ants, but someone was out the next day to spray. They were gone for about a day and came back. We are in the jungle!! Only difference from website is they say 2 queen beds and they are full. No big deal. Would DEFINITELY go back to this unit. Security was very nice.you will need to buy more TP . Only gave 2 rolls per bathroom for 8 days and 8 people. Grocery store super close.

Six of us stayed at the condo and loved it! Great location and great amenities. We look forward to staying here again!

Very clean and well appointed. Excellent location to the pool, beach, shops and restaurants. Check-in was a bit of a problem in that the link we got took us to a gate that was closed due to construction. We had directions to the office where they gave us an alternative entrance.

Family pool right outside. All of Tamarindo right in walking distance! Best access to the Diría hotel and amazing beach in front of hotel just minutes away. Seemcurity, staffing and especially the surf coaches were amazing. I would 100% come back to this condo. Soft beds, good pillows, well stocked kitchen.

We booked this home for two families, eight people total and it was not a letdown!! Beautiful home that was well stocked throughout, this place was a hit with everyone. You have full access to the massive pool with a swim up bar, and the beach is just across the street. Plenty of shops and restaurants within walking distance as well! Highly recommend!!!

The property, location, and staff were exceptional! We traveled with 5 adults and 2 small children and never felt crowded. The condo was well stocked and very spacious. The ground floor was convenient and provided easy access to the pool area. We would definitely stay here again.
