Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is an absolutely beautiful unit with a great view. It is well kept, well decorated, and has everything we needed to make our stay comfortable and feel like home. Great color schemes, freshly painted, a renovated master bath, and a very relaxing vibe. We enjoyed sitting on the deck and reading. The beds are super comfy so we felt rested too. We cooked some meals and dined out too. It was nice to have all of the equipment and tools to do so. The 2 best places we ate were McGuire's and Pineapple Willy's. The best place to buy food including grab and go was The Fresh Market. It was nice to keep up on our laundry so we didn't travel with stinky, dirty clothes. It also allowed us to wash our beach towels so they could stay fresh. Having 2 lounge chairs and an umbrella daily was awesome. We were unable to get this unit for our whole our entire FL vacation (7 of 10 days), so the first 3 were spent 10-15 minutes to the east. Had I seen this unit IRL before giving them their review, it would have been dismal instead of ...sufficient. Having stayed in a mediocre yet livable unit prior to this only made us appreciate this fantastic unit even more. The ONLY negative I have is regarding the elevators at the property. This is a VERY large property and the wait was often long. Many times we used the stairs (11 flights). Tidewater needs to upgrade to a more efficient system. So, when you head to the beach make sure you have EVERYTHING you may need/want (drinks, snacks, balls, sunscreen, towels, etc). The management company was also wonderful. We received texts throughout our stay to check on us and keep us abreast of anything necessary. I have already recommended this unit to a friend.

Overall, this place was nice. It was clean and beautiful. I would have given 5 stars but it’s the elevators. Most of the elevators were broken and only a few were being ran manually. You had to call security to let them know you needed picked up so they could page the person manually working the elevators. We let the host know and we were told they have no control over the elevators. When you’re on the 11th floor, stairs are not an option. Other than the elevators everything was great. We would stay here again if they can get the elevators fixed.

Here is the deal. I never had to deal with the property owner. So I can’t speak to communication. But here are the positives and negatives. Please read becuase it will help you understand why we will never stay here again.Positives:1. The property and room were plenty clean. No complaints there and that’s usually the biggest concern. The room could have used some small restoration (shower didn’t work in the guest tub, bad water pressure, paint, etc).Negatives:1. Safety. The “security” here is non existent. The staff here is complacent. For a No Smoking place, i personally saw at least 5 people smoking on the premises and it was bad to the point that the balcony was useless because you could not breathe. My kids would cough the min we opened the balcony door. People acting crazy here were not kept “in check”. Screaming foul language fromThe balconies down at people at the beach, shining green lasers down onto people (and children’s) eyes at night. I informed the front desk of these issues and they radioed security. It went on for several more hours before it quit. 2. Elevators. There are 3 elevators on the left side. One was out of order. One was working 1 out of our 3 day stay. And one was working only with staff running it half of the time. This caused MAJOR delays in getting to the room and leaving. All of the tenants and travelers in passing whined about the elevators. It’s a 30 story place. Not ok._____The bottom line is- For the price, we will not be back.

Great view of the beach!!!

Condo was beautiful and comfortable. It was stocked very well for all of our needs. Free beach chairs were a great added bonus. We had a relaxing and quiet weekend getaway for our anniversary. Check in was easy and staff were very pleasant and always smiling. We would definitely rebook with our host and condo.

OMGOODNESS! This stay was all we wanted and more! The check in host was kind and helpful. The location was perfectly located, being in walking distance from many activities! The condo was very clean with an AWESOME unobstructed view of the beautiful beach! We will most definitely stay at this location again!

Beautiful condo. We really liked the beach supplies the condo offered. We used the beach chair when we went to Shell Island. Used the water noodles every day.

Nice condo. Most people were friendly. Very impressed with the guys who operate elevators on weekends -very friendly. The only thing I can say would be it would have been good to have dishwashing liquid in the kitchen for when you just have a couple of glasses to washEnjoyed our stay very much.

It was great to be back at our home away from home. Our family always loves and look forward to this trip every year and this year did not disappoint. The condo is exactly as explained in pictures. They went above and beyond with communication, making sure everything was going smoothly. Highly recommend this property.

Beautiful condo! View was amazing! Anything negative about our stay would be regarding the resort. Not enough elevators and having to deal with the smell of pot on the balcony at times.

The room was just as described. Clean and beautiful view. They thought of everything. Kitchen had everything you would ever need. Only negative was the elevator situation. Super slow and busy, which is not the fault of the host. Highly recommend staying with them!

Our condo included absolutely everything you may need at the beach. It was very well maintained and exceptionally clean. View from the balcony was absolutely breathtaking. Complimentary beach service included two chairs and umbrella, which was very nice and saved us some money. The property manager responded to every single request or question in few minutes. Busy elevator issue that existed in the past improved by the resort management. Average elevator wait time was no more than 5 minutes. We would definitely recommend this condo to our friends and other guests.Four Star Condo should be renamed to Five Star :-)

I had a couple items I needed to address and they were taken care of without batting an eye. 10/10 would stay with Four Star again, and likely will next year! We went during fall break time and the elevators were horrible. Because this is such a huge hotel it was just way too crowded for me. You had to stand in line every morning on the beach to get your free chairs and umbrellas but since you are not a paying customer you only got to sit in the 2nd or 3rd row. I just assumed whom we rented from were paying customers.
