Marlin Quay 311 is a two-bedroom, two-bath inlet/channel-front condo located across the street from the beach and two miles south of Garden City Pier, unobstructed views of the Marlin Quay Marina and Murrells Inlet. This unit features a fully-equipped kitchen with a microwave and dishwasher, as well as a washer, dryer, central heat and air conditioning, ceiling fans, and private balcony. Three TVs (smart tv in living room), two BluRay players, and Wi-Fi are also provided. Sleeping accommodations include one king and two double-sized beds, as well as a queen-sized sofa bed. Complex amenities include two outdoor swimming pools, six elevators serving two units per floor. Limit two parking and pool gate access passes at check-in. No motorcycles. No trailers. No golf carts. No smoking. No pets. Maximum occupancy: 6

Conveniently located close to some of the best area attractions, Garden City Beach is directly south of Surfside Beach and ends on a peninsula at the mouth of Murrells Inlet. One of the most renowned attractions in Garden City Beach is the Pier at Garden City. Other points of interest include Marlin Quay Marina and restaurants Sara J's Seafood Restaurant, Gulfstream Café, and Original Sam's Corner.

Just south of Garden City Beach is Murrells Inlet, a seaside community considered the Seafood Capital of South Carolina and home to some of the nation's best golf courses. Once primarily a fishing village, the town is best known for the Murrells Inlet MarshWalk, a half-mile-long boardwalk overlooking a pristine salt marsh, and the many award-winning restaurants along Highway 17 Business in the central business district.

Brookgreen Gardens, a sculpture garden and wildlife preserve built on four former rice plantations, is located slightly south of the MarshWalk. It features several themed gardens with American figurative sculptures, trails through several nature reserve ecosystems, and the Lowcountry Zoo.

If you're looking for places to shop, The Market Common, Broadway at the Beach, Barefoot Landing, two Tanger shopping outlets, Myrtle Beach Boardwalk and Promenade, and many more shopping facilities are all within an easy drive from Garden City Beach.

Looking for entertainment and attractions Take in a show at Pirates Voyage, Medieval Times, Alabama Theater, The Carolina Opry, or Legends in Concert. Then visit SkyWheel Myrtle Beach, Ripley's Aquarium, WonderWorks, Ripley's Believe It Or Not Odditorium, Hollywood Wax Museum Entertainment Center, and The Pavilion Nostalgia Park.

Other points of interest close by include the waterfront community of Georgetown, the third oldest city in South Carolina and the second largest seaport in South Carolina, and historic Conway, with its downtown Riverwalk area nestled on the banks of the Waccamaw River. Both towns include fine dining, shopping, and historic sites.

Take a day trip to Charleston to experience shopping, a harbor cruise, a city carriage tour, or a plantation tour. Charleston is only 87 miles from Garden City Beach - approximately two hours. It's a picturesque and exquisitely preserved southern city with antebellum architecture, cobblestone streets, and historical landmarks.

Reviewer Comments: Beautiful views,spacious condo,comfortable beds.Urgently needs new paint,screen patio door,Little ants on the wall behind the Kitchen sink.Dishwasher door did not close(Garden City Realty promptly send someone(Tony)to solve the problem.Kitchen faucet dripping.Upon arrival,the condo was clean for the seeable places but a lot of dust behind and under furniture.The bathrooms were clean.

The only suggestion is that the living room furniture could use updating. Had a great 3 months will be back next year.

The only thing I would change is the King mattress, it needs to be replaced The condo was clean and has everything you need for a great vacation. We leave stayed in the Marlin Quay complex several time and it is well maintained an upscale. It is within walking distance to two restaurants and across the street from the beach. Great sunset views from the balcony across Murrell’s Inlet.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The unit was in a great location and for the most part in good condition. However, we felt there was a musty smoke smell each time you entered the unit. There are some kitchen items that need to be added like plastic cups. drink ware, and cookie sheets for renter convenience. There are homeowners in the complex who do not like renters and would verbally harass people about condo association rules, and even changed the pool signs closing time to get people away from their properties. We’ve stayed many times in this complex and love it, and we have never had issues with homeowners before. It is sad but will make us think twice now about renting here again.
