The Space:

Welcome to our charming townhome in Travis Heights, located east of South Congress (SoCo) and west of I-35, which offers a walkable experience in one of Austin's most captivating neighborhoods. The area has witnessed the loving restoration of historic homes, and the emergence of excellent restaurants along nearby South Congress adds to its allure.



Kick back and relax in this 750 sq. ft .inviting space with modern furnishings and cozy bedding that complement the beloved throwback elements like the timeless bathroom sink and vintage gas range.



The primary suite boasts a luxurious king bed, while the second bedroom features two comfortable twin beds. For additional sleeping arrangements, an air mattress is available upon request, so you can sleep up to 5.



Outside, you'll find tranquility on the inviting front porch or expansive lawn. Venture to the shared backyard for even more space to unwind.



The property is pet-friendly. You can bring up to 2 pets with a max of 60 lbs. combined weight. Please let us know at booking to get authorization. Sorry, no puppies (12mos old and below).

Getting Around:

The nearest international airport is Austin (AUS) 8 miles | 13 km away. While the neighborhood is highly walkable, we recommend having a car to fully explore the plethora of nearby attractions. However, there is Uber and Lyft in Austin as well, if you prefer.



Other Things to Note:

Guests will need to sign a Rental Agreement upon booking confirmation.



We provide some bath essentials like soap, shampoo, conditioner, body gel, toilet paper, and some garbage bags. Please note that these are not replenished during your stay.



Pack-n-Play travel crib (with sheets) & high chair are available upon request.



Daily house cleaning is not available however, if you would like a mid-stay cleaning, one can be arranged for a fee. Please let us know in advance.



We kindly ask all guests to abide by these HOUSE RULES:

- Travelers must be at least 21 years old or older to book.

- No smoking of any kind (tobacco, cannabis, vaping etc.) inside the home, and the use of any recreational drugs on the premises is strictly prohibited.

- No parties, events, or illegal activities are permitted, and no excessive noise, especially between 10:00 pm and 7 am, will be tolerated. Please respect the neighbors.

- No more guests than those listed in your reservation are allowed.

- Pet-friendly with prior authorization at booking, and a pet fee of $25 per night. Pet fee is requested after booking is confirmed. Two pets max with a combined weight of 60 lbs.

- We kindly ask that pets stay off the furniture to keep things fresh for everyone. An additional cleaning fee may apply if excessive pet hair is found.



Interaction with Guests:

It’s self-check-in using a code. All the access codes will be provided to you before your arrival.

You’ll have complete privacy during your stay, but we’re available 7 days a week by text message. Should you need anything, just send us a text message!

    Our stay at Mariposa was magical to my husband and I. Everything was provided to accommodate your needs as soon as you walk into the inviting, cozy home away from home. On-site washer and dryer are an added bonus that we were thankful for. The house is clean and the cleaning crew was amazing. Any questions we asked were answered quickly. The location was central for our needs. Honestly I didn’t want to leave. I highly recommend Lodge Well.

    We (my wife and I and our adult kids) flew to Austin from Ottawa, Canada in April to see the eclipse. The unit and the stay were perfect. Quiet: although there were guests with children in the other side of the duplex during our stay, we didn't hear a thing. Our place was attractive and nicely equipped for our needs. Comfy beds, good living space, cool AC, and covered parking. Lounge area in the large back yard that we took advantage of to sun. The unit was in a single family residential neighbourhood, but had close and convenient access to I-35 and Downtown as well as to to the airport. The host suggested local walking and driving attractions including the quirky Whip-In, with 70 beers on tap and yummy curry / Indian menu, which was a 4-minute walk from the unit. One question/feedback to host was responded to within a few minutes. This is what a VRBO experience should be about: quality property, no surprises, attentive host, and value for money. As a side note, although most of TX was under cloud on eclipse day, we were also incredibly lucky to see an unobstructed entire eclipse totality of more than four minutes in Llano TX, about 60 miles away. *Icing on the cake.*

    Excellent location and value. As a family of four we were perfectly happy with the Mariposa. Clean and description as accurate. Large bedrooms and it was so nice to have a washer and dryer as we are an active family. Close to everything. Quiet street and communication was great as well.
