@ Marbella Lane -Coastal retreat near Diamond Head

We love this area. It's not far to walk to Waikiki Beach and all its offerings, yet it is quieter and the park is so pleasant. Mind you, getting in the water here can be challenging. It's best to walk a block to a beach. We wish there was designated parking. We stayed 8 nights and only had trouble parking in the park on Wednesdays when there were kids' soccer games. The unit is nicely appointed. The only thing lacking is a kitchen, but we were gone much during the day for eating out and the microwave and toaster oven warmed our leftovers. The refrigerator is a bit small, much like a regular hotel minifridge. There is a fantastic beach cafe a short walk with very reasonable prices. This corner unit afforded lanai seating for 2 overlooking Kapiolani Park and a view of the fountain and Diamond Head. Sunsets were fantastic while lounging in the waterfront yard. Although the management company never gave us a phone number to call, we could text and email with good response. For instance, the coffeemaker stopped working and Keith was prompt to bring a brand new one. The unit has plenty of glasses and plates. There are even pots for using the hot pad (which we didn't). Maintaining a drawer of previously left items is clever. We made good use of the sunscreen, sandwich bags, and other items. There were three sets of towels and two dish towels. We used the beach chairs and boogie boards. Overall, it was a pleasant experience that we would consider again.

This room worked great for 3 people. It was clean and had everything we needed plus some. I was so grateful for the beach chairs and boogie boards. I didn’t love the location, the area felt a little dirty and at times we had a hard time finding parking. I loved it was right on the ocean I just wish there would have been beach access right at the property. All in all it was a great place to stay.

Nice condo, has everything you need for the beach. We appreciated the chairs, boogie boards, beach towels, and snorkels. The bed is comfortable, and it was great to have all the little extras like coffee, tea, lotion, and phone chargers. There’s a mini fridge and a hot plate, and all the pans and dishes so you could cook some small meals if you wanted to. The view from the large deck of Diamondhead is absolutely incredible. You’re right on the water at the back of the hotel, it’s a nice hangout spot on a lawn with beach chairs and tables. You can walk to some stairs behind the hotel that take you down right into the water, to a pretty good snorkel or surfing spot. There’s not a beach right at the property. There is a lovely mellow little private sandy beach about a block away, there’s directions to it on the hotel door. I wish the curtains were a little darker, you definitely have some bright sun coming in early in the morning. A bigger fridge would be a nice addition. Also watch out, we had a swimsuit blown off the deck by the wind, but we managed to get it back from the people below us. The place is pretty quiet, even though it’s right above the street, it’s not super busy. This condo is on the fourth floor. Getting in and out is easy with a code to the room door and a lockbox with a key to get into the gated hotel. We had the pleasure of meeting the condo owner at checkout, he is a very nice and helpful man.

The room was well equipped. We used the hot plate several times and it worked great! The room even had some extra items like sunscreen and bug spray which we appreciated! The elevator did break a few days in, but we were there in the middle of a crazy storm and heard lots of elevators in other buildings were breaking also. The bed was pretty comfortable and the window ac unit kept the room cool. The hosts were great at checking in and seeing how things were going, but we did struggle a bit figuring out how to check in, as the instructions were hard to find on the app. We liked that it was close enough to walk to the beach and there is a little convenience store that was close by. Did not notice a lot of road noise and it was pretty quiet at night which was nice. We were able to find parking pretty easily across the street. Overall a great place and we would come back! The unit is in the best part of Waikiki - terrific location for beautiful walks (Kapiolani park, Diamond head) and easy access to the bustling parts of Waikiki if that's your thing, Kapahulu restaurants and Kaimuki food. The unit was incredibly well stocked for a studio and was very comfortable. And the Marella folks' communication was top notch. Would definitely stay again.

Great stay, host and directions were clear. Perfect location out of Waikiki but close enough to walk. Great little nearby beaches, parking was easy to navigate just across the street. Lovely balcony views of Diamondhead and sunset views from the common waterfront area.

Beautiful location. Calm, quiet, and close to many attractions. Free Parking very easy to navigate. Check in and check out went smoothly without any issues. Communication with owner was also very helpful and easy to navigate. We would definitely stay here again!!

Chose the property for the location and it did not disappoint. Close enough to everything but in the quiet end of things. Friendly guests would hang out with us on the patio or garden. Owner and property managers were terrific. Will definitely be back.

Room was spacious and clean!! Easy check-in and check-out!!Air conditioning was fast and cold. The room was very welcoming. Complimentary snacks, water, shampoo, conditioner, etc. There were extra sheets and blankets available in the room. If you forgot anything, just look around and they might have it available for you! Overall, I would definitely stay here again as it was good quality for the price and in a great location!

location and unit were great. Clean etc..The pre check in instructions/communication/requirements from Marbella Lane Mgmt were ridiculous.Selfies with my credit card, selfies with my drivers license. very inconvenient. I had to reach out and wait for a return phone call for check in instructions.

We would definitely stay in this unit again. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony with the beautiful fountain, and public park across the street, and watching the activity of joggers and walkers, and the wonderful view of Diamond Head. The Unit was clean and had a lot of extras, (beach chairs, beach umbrellas, small coolers, beach mat) We also enjoyed the coffee! If you’re an Elk’s member, the beautiful Waikiki Elk’s Club is a couple of buildings down the street and has good and reasonably priced food and drinks. While there is no swimming beach at the hotel, the ocean side common area patio is lovely. We walked a few blocks to the public beach and enjoyed our days swimming, reading, relaxing, and people watching.

This rental was a true gem!! We loved the location and the apartment was just perfect for us. I thought parking may be a problem, but it totally wasn't! Free parking right across the street by Kapiolani park from 6 pm-10 am. Then it is cheap hourly meter parking from 10am-6 pm. Enjoyed our morning coffee out on the lanai with great views of Diamond Head- can't wait to return!

Just my adult child and I, so bed and sofa bed worked perfectly. We were walking distance to all we wanted (so didn't need parking). Unit was exactly as listed - clean, well equipped and nice patio view of Diamond Head.

The salient feature for us is location. Perfect spot to enjoy the park, beaches & shopping is a ten minute walk. Keith is a super host, thank you! We will come and stay again.

Overall property was excellent due to cleanliness, location, and being well stocked!Booking process and checking in process was not done in timely manner.

The condo was exceptionally clean and comfortable. There were treats greeting us, as well as water, which was very welcoming. It is in a great location that is easily walkable to Waikiki. The pictures are accurate and we had a very enjoyable stay. Despite spending most of our visit outside of the condo, it was a welcoming reprieve when we got back each night! We highly recommend this VRBO and we hope to come back and stay here again soon!

The room was clean and the check-in was easy. There is an exceptional view of Diamond Head from the balcony. The front desk advised us where to park the mopeds we rented and we received parking tickets for following those instructions... The only other thing that was less than perfect is the bed mattress should be replaced...
