Stayed Mar 19, 2026Amazing view! Some things I wish I had known are… the kitchen did have salt & pepper, cooking oil, & coffee filters. They left 2 pkgs of coffee for the 5 nights we stayed. Plenty of towels, tp, 2 rolls paper towels. There was a 2 small boxes of kitchen and bathroom stuff. 2 laundry pods. The condo was comfortable and had basic needs. We stayed during the Kona Storm so it rained almost the entire time. I could smell a musty smell the moment I opened the door, it was the bedspread and pillow cases. I had to remove them from the bed. The pillows on the lanai need replacing. They had mold and tears on them, I did see this on a previous review also, so they haven’t been changed. The toilet ran because the stopper leaked in the tank. Some lights weren’t working as well. The location of the condo was perfect and close to the boardwalk. We saw that the condo was in the market and had been for a while. With the amazing view and location, this place has a lot of potential. This was our 5th time in Maui as we come back every 5 years. This was our 30 year wedding anniversary. This was my first time celebrating something and nothing was left as a welcome and congratulations gift. Our last trip was 25 years celebration and a bottle of sparkling juice, and local Hawaiian gifts like chocolate, coffee, etc. Nothing was wrong just some feedback on how to stand out. If you want a basic condo with basic stuff and an amazing view, this is a good place!

Stayed Mar 9, 2026A few things need to be taken care of. The throw pillows on the lanai are shredded, the hair dryer has a sharp broken handle, the toilet runs all the time, and one of the kitchen drawers is broken. Glass cleaner for the dining table would be nice, and placemats to protect the glass.

Stayed Jan 5, 2026My wife and I spent 14 nights in this unit. The best attribute that we found was the view from the lanai, which was spectacular. The common areas of the Mahana are well maintained. We used the heated pool several times and the BBQ grills. We found the lanai deck was dirty, but we purchased a mop and cleaned that ourselves. The screen and glass slider tracks to the lanai were extremely corroded causing the screen and glass sliders to stick, and one screen often comes off as it needs adjustment. One picture on the website showed 2 lamps in the bedroom, however, there was one lamp when we arrived. The other lamp was in a closet without a shade. We purchased about 100 of housekeeping and home wares to make our 14 day stay more comfortable.

Stayed Nov 12, 2025Great location to restaurants, shopping, golf courses, etc.. Could actually walk to each activity. Nice access to great sand beaches, surfing, swimming and snorkeling. The condo was a less than expected. The furniture was a little uncomfortable. Holes in the pillows on the patio and you could definitely tell they’d been out in the sea air for awhile. On a couple occasions had to mop up water on the kitchen floor that may have come from the dishwasher even though we never used it. Worse part of the stay was never having any hot water in the bathroom. Luke warm water at best for showers and shaving with cold water is never fun. The condo is advertised as up to 4 people but at least one of the amenities didn’t support this number. Only 3 pairs of flippers and two pair were broke. Only two mask and one snorkel. Would advise others to pack their own snorkeling equipment if this is part of their planned actives. All in all, we had a good trip and our stay was ok. Just expected a little more for the price.

Stayed Nov 20, 2024We would definitely stay here again if we come back to Maui. We spent so much nice family time sitting outside on the lanai, watching sunsets, looking at the stars, spotting sea turtles, watching surfers. A short walk down the boardwalk to snorkel everyday. it was real nice having a washer and dryer, beach chairs, and a cooler. Only thing that could be improved are a few basic kitchen essentials. Such as pot holders, salt/pepper, and enough dishwasher tablets to run a load each day. We loved the locations, and were really comfortable there.
