Madeira Beach Yacht Club 151H | Balcony, Pool + Hot Tub Access

This rental says it sleeps four and that would be tough to eat, shower or unpack anything. There are very few drawers and random hangers to put your items away. The living room door opens into the middle of the living room hitting the recliner. The website says there is a grill, there was not. The management company brought us a table top charcoal grill (no lighter or matches) to use on a week with high winds. The fob needed for the bathroom pool wasn’t available until day 3, wristbands for the pool are not required by the pool just the rental people? Overall I would say this unit is appropriate for two people for a long weekend. There is just not room to have your things “out” the closet is packed 1/2 with ladder and maintenance items as is the top row of cabinets in the kitchen with old paint cans. Needs updating and a price adjustment. We looked at other units right next door that were updated and beautiful. 151H not so much.

PROPERTY MANAGER was excellent PROPERTY average based on other properties we have stayed at the Yacht Club. no broom, toaster had to be replaced by Property Manager we supplied mop from dollar store Bed was uncomfortable

The property location was nice but the place is outdated and needs modernized. There is no grill and when we complained we didn't get one for 3 days and it was a man made grill that appeared to be unsafe. Bathroom shower head spits out water and does not move. The ceiling above the shower is like a crawl space and seemed a bit creepy when you were showering. There is no fenced in deck or deck period outside of your place. You can sit on the narrow stairwell if you want otherwise you have to go to the shared space below your room.

First off Cathy from Vtrips was extremely helpful with what was a disastrous start to our vacation. Upon arrival there was an electrician working on the air conditioning unit which was not working. After fixing that it was discovered that the hot water tank did not work nor did the clothes dryer. I totally understand that things happen however the owner gave us the option of cold showers and no dryer until the beginning of the week or refund my money and leave me and my family to look for a place on Fourth of July weekend. Luckily THANKS to Cathy she was able to get us into a unit on the 2nd day and we were able to enjoy the rest of our vacation.
