Luxury Waterfront at Galion Resort in Old Town

Best location in Key West. Great place

No complaints at all - we have stayed at the Galleon before and this is an excellent unit with a recent refurb and an owner who was great at communicating. We like E block for the marina view. The mezzanine worked well - there is a bathroom and a bedroom up there with a further bed on the mezzanine balcony. There are no blinds or curtains on the mezzanine windows which was fine in March but might be a challenge in the summer with an earlier dawn! We had a great stay.

Great location and great view! Had a wonderful time. Housekeeping was very accommodating. The cleanliness was mediocre. The floors made our feet black.

We enjoyed our stay at this location. The furniture has been updated since these photos were taken and includes a very nice sectional, recliner and kitchen table along with two bar/kitchen stools. As many reviews have noted, the tub in the primary bathroom was a challenge but once you figured out a system, it was manageable. The balcony was spacious and great for enjoying the scenery. The kitchen came with everything needed. We had a group of 5 and the space was more than enough for us all with the loft bed, bedroom on the second floor and the primary on the main floor. The staff was very friendly and the amenities, bar, pool area and private beach were great. We would recommend. I will say, if you are a late sleeper or simply there to relax, you may want to consider a sleep mask because it gets very bright in the unit very early.

Wonderful

The location is excellent with easy access to key west highlights, marina and restaurants. Very friendly staff at Galleon check in/check out. The a/c upstairs made a constant squeeking squeeling noise which was loud and kept us awake, couldn’t sleep. Not good.

Great stay in Key West - this was our first time here and we loved the condo and the location. Check in is at 4pm but our unit was ready when we arrived at noon! The unit was very clean and had an incredible view. We could not ask for a better location either. The pool, private beach area, and the tiki bar were amazing. We will be back!

Absolutely the best location when staying in old town. Easy walk to everything around Key West. Great small beach into the Gulf we used everyday. Condo had everything we needed and the best view - even of the July 4th fireworks! Will definitely recommend.

Everything was excellent

It was a great time but I must apologize for some in my group. Had I known that they were going to be so loud and unruly. I would not have brought them. They will never go another trip with me. So for everyone that had been bothered by them I apologize once more. group.

The only complaint would be the garden tub. Very hard to get in to get a shower!!! Especially when you have short legs

We had some trouble with Bugs in our unit and an entire day was messed up due to 2 different elevators being broken and we were on the 5th floor. We had an 80 year old and a 15 month only....so we really neededbthe elevator

Beautiful accomodations at the perfect location. Spiral stairs can be challenging for some. Host was awesome. He always responded timely.

We have been coming down to Key West for years and this was my favorite place we have stayed! The location is amazing and ideal for easy access to the heart of Key West. The balcony and view of the Seaport was the best part and something we have never experienced in Key West before. It was the best way to start and end the day. A hidden gem of the property is the deck below the pool area where it gave us prime viewing for the iconic Key West sunset each night. Our flight was delayed by 7 hours getting into Key West and the property was amazing in accomodating our later then expected arrival. The booking process and communication with the host was one of the best I have experienced with using VRBO. We could not speak more highly of our time there!

The location was amazing and we had a great view of the water. The only complaints are the room was not ready at 4pm but we were able to store our bags in the room next to the reception desk and walk around. And the shower in the master bath is extremely hard to get in and out of as others have mentioned. It is a huge step over the side of the tub.
