The Space:

The Cedar Retreat - an Upscale townhome - 3 bedrooms, 3.5 bathrooms - located in the heart of King William / Southtown neighborhood and within blocks of all the great area restaurants, Blue Star, the Mission Reach of the River, Downtown, and the Riverwalk.



All bedroomsfeature luxury Posh+Lavish Oeko-Tex Certified King mattresses, crisp hotel linens and towels, and complete hotel bath amenities. Unit has WiFi meshnet for whole house coverage. Water softener and Reverse osmosis drinking water.



Garage access - One car garage and parking space for one car on the gravel parking space directly across the driveway in front of unit. Additional parking on street if needed.

Please note that the front door of the unit enters directly into this bedroom. Room Darkening curtains can be drawn across the front windows and entry door to provide privacy. The first floor can be accessed by entering through the door off the garage. In this case, the bedroom does have a door which locks to provide privacy.

Living Room -with Leather sofa and chairs providing ample seating. Enjoy a 65” Samsung 4K UHD TV - Internet enabled so you can log in to your Netflix, Hulu, and Amazon prime accounts. This room can accommodate the use of up to 2 Twin XL floor mattresses as needed.

Dining Room – Large table with seating for eight

Kitchen – Fully stocked with Dishes/silverware to accommodate 12, Serving Utensils, Grilling utensils, Full set of kitchen and steak knives, Keurig Coffee / Tea station,

Condiments – Olive Oil, Avocado Oil, salt, pepper, organic spices, Paper towels, sponges, dish and hand soap, Dishwasher incl dishwasher detergent, Microwave, Small appliances – toaster, blender, Gas stove and oven.

Laundry – Full size HE front load washer and dryer located off Living Room. Available ironing board and Iron. Laundry detergent provided.  Balcony with outdoor propane grill complete with propane tank; Patio chairs and small table.

-6 inch tri-fold memory foam Twin-XL floor mattresses provide comfortable sleeping for up to four additional guests.

-Pack and Play, high chair, booster chair, and toddleroo play-yard for families with infants and small children

-Each Unit is three stories with polished concrete floors on the first floor and wood flooring/ceramic tile throughout the remaining floors.

-High end stainless steel appliances with gas cooking and true vent hood.

-High end front load washer and dryer. Detergent and dryer balls included.

-Unit rental include coffee, tea, bottled water, linens, towels, hair dryers, toilet paper, shampoo/conditioner bottles, soap, etc.

-Electronic keypad on front door for ease of access to unit. Key code changed after every guest experience.

-Exterior surveillance via doorbell camera. Ability to activate Security Alarm as needed on premises.

-A starter supply of essential items is provided - you may need to purchase more for your stay depending upon your needs and length of stay.

Southtown is just south of downtown right near the King William District, with S. Alamo running through the heart of the district. This is where you can experience the 'puro' San Antonio - where all the best local restaurants, bars, and things to do can be found! This place gets rockin’ during the First Friday of the month, where everyone comes out to see local artists, drink beer, and listen to live music. Be sure to stop by over at The Friendly Spot for some beers, Bar America for some cocktails, and chips and salsa over at Rosarios!



Riverwalk access is a few steps, passing beautiful historic homes to the entrance to the Riverwalk hike and bike trails and canoe /kayak access point.



Getting Around:

A 15 minute drive from the airport. This area is very pedestrian friendly and boasts easy access to multiple bike share stations and the San Antonio bus system Viva route.

    We stayed 6 nights. Could get to all the fun things we wanted to quickly. We felt safe. Really enjoyed having 2 sets of washer and dryers! Looked newly remodeled or built. They even left us chips and salsa and topo Chico’s! Met our every need! Pretty mural inside for family photos too. Mgr quick to respond.

    10/10 stay for our trip! We stayed 5 days/4 nights. It was perfect for our annual 3 family siblings trip! Close to Riverwalk and places to eat. Super clean and wonderful amenities! Host was very responsive to messages and accommodating to our arrival and departure! Great neighborhood. Safe. Ran every morning and felt comfortable doing so. Greeted outside by unit neighbor and what was so nice! Very appreciative of this host!

    We enjoyed our 4 nights stay in this lovely condo located in a quiet neighborhood yet within minutes to all thing San Antonio. Just a 5 min walk to restaurants, and shops an 10 mintes to the riverwalk. Hosts are fantastic, check in is a breeze and we felt very at-home.

    We stayed here for 5 nights while vacationing in San Antonio. The property itself was perfect for us. The location is great and safe. We were able to walk to many destinations and restaurants, morning and night. You can enter the property in 2 ways, through the downstairs bedroom or from the garage. The middle floor had a spacious seating area, a large dining area and wonderful kitchen. Also loved that the middle floor had a bathroom and laundry closet. The top third floor had 2 bedrooms each with their our bathrooms and another laundry closet. Plenty of closets throughout the home. I would only point out 2 things people should be aware of when booking. First, there are a lot of stairs. This did not bother us at all, but I can see it being an issue for some people. Second, you can hear the trains at night and through out the day. This is not the condos fault. I would assume anywhere you stay in this location it would be an issue. Again after the first night, we were able to sleep through it and it did not really affect us. I highly recommend this property. We loved it!

    This is the third time we’ve stayed at the property. It’s very well located with numerous restaurants nearby, and not far from the Riverwalk. The kitchen has all the necessities.
