Luxury La Jolla Shores Getaway - Steps to Beach

Really fantastic location. Loved being walking distance to the beach. The reason we gave 4 stars instead of 5 is that there were little quirks like the master toilet would run all night like it was being flushed. It was noisy and disruptive to sleep. The master bed frame was very squeaky whenever anyone rolled over. We were surprised that there was no conditioner, only shampoo. The walls were also very thin so the people moving around upstairs and next door often sounded like they were inside our unit. Luckily no conversation could be heard just movement. It was overall a great experience. Very clean and well appointed - aside from the lack of conditioner and very worn condition of wash clothes. Beds and pillows were comfortable. Parking was great. Loved the beach toys, boogie boards and beach carts. It definitely made it so much easier for us with 3 young kids. I would recommend, just bring conditioner

Property is functional, beds are comfortable and all appliances work as expected.

This is the Perfect location to explore the area. The 3 bedroom condo was well equipped and very clean. We were in La Jolla for a family wedding so we didn’t cook, but the kitchen was great and there was a wonderful patio off the master bedroom. Would definitely recommend if you want to experience beautiful La Jolla without the need to be caught in traffic! Ther are great restaurants, shops and the beach right outside of your door!

Parking was very easy and secure and the location was excellent.

We enjoyed our stay in La Jolla Shores! The property was all that we needed and so convenient to everything. The neighborhood is adorable and we were able to walk to so many shops and activities. We really loved this location. The process to reserve, check in, and check out was very smooth.

Parking was easy and secure. Loved the back patio and grill. Good workspace in kitchen. Perfect location for beach access and close to great restaurants. We loved it and hope to return.

Paring was easy and secure. Master bed creaked and needs a memory foam topper to make it more comfortable. The corners of toilet floors need to be cleaned better. Wonderful amount of room to relax. Couch and tv were great. Could use Kleenex in bathrooms and silver fish were in some of kitchen drawers. Loved the front porch and front grass, very secure outside. It was nice to walk in and out of gate on our way to beach. Great location 1 block to beach. Great restaurant just around the corner. You can order to go and take a quick short walk to pick it up. Little convenience store around the corner. Chairs of front porch were wonderful to sit in and watch the stars.

Only a block from the beach,yet very quiet.Gated parking and entrance is very secure.Great eateries within 200 yards.Would highly recommend.

The property was large and close to the beach. They had many extras like anything beach chairs, boards etc on-top of laundry and extra mattresses. Small downside is that it’s kind of dated with limited kitchen items. We would stay here again.

Parking was easy and secure in gated garage with elevator to the front door. Appreciated good kitchen supplies and plenty of paper products. Easy walk to the beach. Perfect for our senior group.

Overall, this is an excellent location. The parking and access was great. The property is as described. We would stay again.

Great property very close to the beach. One minute walk, and the garage parking was amazing. Very responsive host too.

This place couldn't be located better. Down the street from the La Jolla shores and around the corner from the beach. There is relatively minimal traffic on the street. The place was more spacious than I anticipated and the front patio is a nice place to sit. We brought food and cooked all by one of our meals in the unit, nice kitchen and dining area. Cabinets are a bit run down - that's probably the only negative I have. I would absolutely stay here again! It is part of a triplex and the others are also rentals. There are a variety of beach toys, boards, wagons in the garage and we used them daily. Can fit 2 vans in the parking spot - nice to have. Full size washer dryer was also very nice with beach towels getting sandy.Host had good instructions, resources, and there was little we had to do when departing. This place is fantastic!

The townhouse had everything we needed, would definitely stay again!

Very roomy and a location that can’t be beat.

What a wonderful little escape this place is-- My friends and I had a great time in the house, and loved how close to the beach it was. Brant was very easy to communicate with, and we enjoyed how accurate the pictures/listing was to the real thing! Highly recommend!

My family and I just stayed here, and loved it! It’s in the best location! It’s by great food, shops, and rentals to surf and kayak! The parking spot was so nice, and all the beach stuff they have in the garage!

We really enjoyed our stay at this condo. It was just four of us, myself, my wife and our two teenage boys. It was great for them because they each had their own room. The condo had plenty of room for all of us to stretch out. The condo was clean and had everything we needed. The location is amazing. You can walk to numerous restaurants, the beach, a small market and shopping. La Jolla Shores has such a great laid back vibe. Everyone is walking around barefoot and in swimsuits, even in the shops. You are also a quick uber ride to La Jolla (so you don't have to worry about parking). Having underground parking was extremely handy as it is very hard to find a parking spot. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely rent this condo again.

Property better than described, clean and good communications. Very nice local restaurants within a few block radius. Everything you need for a beach stay is provided. Couldn’t have been any better.

Spacious and comfortable. Good beds.The location couldn't be better with minutes walk to shops, restaurants and the beach. I've stayed multiple places around La Jolla and this was by far the best location. The property is well equipped and the elevator and shopping cart made everything easy. Chris was responsive to the few small glitches and resolved them quickly. I would defy stay here againreadonable

This was our third trip to San Diego and so far our favorite location. LaJolla as a community is simply delightful and perfectly located between Legoland, downtown and near all the fabulous natural features, like the tide pools (which were a huge hit for all three generations who stayed). Having the beach, tennis club, and adorable dining district all within a few blocks made it feel so lively, yet was quiet and peaceful the whole time. We were also able to rent kayaks from Everyday California, also within a block, and the few times we needed little things like flip-flops, sunscreen, or Advil, the little Neighbor Saver store on the corner had it covered. The unit itself had a well-stocked kitchen, comfy beds and a soaking tub that was really helpful after a long, cliffside hike.The new appliances had the most musical and delightfully cheerful-sounding notifications. The oven and stove were a treat! I could go on and on, but really, the most important thing to know is that this makes an excellent home base for an excellent vacation. We didn’t want to leave, but will hopefully be back soon!

The home was very well stocked for the five of us who stayed there plus our 3 daily guests - grand child and her family who live in La Jolla. we loved the short walk to the beach, which we did every day while there, even though it was winter - Christmas week. We cooked inner every night while there and never lacked for cooking equipment or tableware. The secluded back patio was a great asset, and the master bedroom was spectacular.

Easy walk to the beach and a small commercial area with restaurants etc. apartment was well maintained, though a bit dated. Owner was very responsive.

Overall the unit is clean and as advertised. Bathrooms have been updated. The kitchen utensils and cookware need a refresh - no cookie sheets or 13 x 9 pans, very few spoons, no measuring spoons, etc. Usually not an issue, but we were cooking Thanksgiving dinner and had to buy foil pans to fill the gaps. Additionally the storage areas could all use a clean out - old broken stuff, games with missing pieces,etc. stuffed into cabinets and closets. That said the location is fabulous - right around the corner from the beach and a great little retail/restaurant strip. Parking for 2 cars is a big plus too!

Beautiful home, comfortable and well furnished. Help was a phone call away, but instructions were explicit. Well stocked, family friendly and the best neighborhood near great activities and food. Hoping to book again soon. Loved the firm foam mattress!

The property was very clean and all of the instructions regarding where to find things and the entire process was fantastic. The location is perfect for La Jolla. It's right next to a bunch of restaurants on Avenida de la Playa. Piatti was our favorite restaurant for dinner and just further down the road is Shorehouse Kitchen for breakfast. The beach is a very short walk from the property and the parking made life so much easier for us to get in and out when we needed. Highly recommend this as a great place to stay!

Very clean and adequately furnished. Beds and linens could use some updating. Central AC and water/ice in frig was nice bonus. Host was helpful setting up contract and answering questions.

Great location and comfortable. This house had everything we needed, accommodated parking and securely gated.

My family and I stayed at this condo for 4 days and let me tell you, the location can’t get any better. A short walk around the corner and you’re either at the cutest strip of markets, restaurants and coffee, or at the beach with a beautiful path you can walk along. Everywhere we went that required driving was a short distance away too, so location was very central. The place was cute and nestled in a very nice neighborhood. We had one issue with the tv remote, but host was prompt in making sure that was resolved and continued to follow up after to make sure our stay was comfortable (we barely spent time at the place anyway so it wasn’t a huge deal). Would stay here again if I return to La Jolla!

This property was clean and comfortable for a family of 5. There was plenty of pillows/blankets. San Diego is our favorite vacation location and love the area and beach. On this trip, I decided to plan less activities and hangout at the house/beach more. This house was comfortable for us all to have spots to hangout and chill. It was gated and felt safe and had designated parking. There were multiple restaurants on the next street for eating. There was even beach toys for us to use. My only comment would be I wished they had more condiments available for cooking, such as olive oil, salt, pepper, syrup in the mornings, etc. Otherwise, the house was well stocked with cleaners, toilet paper, etc. This would not hinder me from staying at this location again, but I wished I would've known that before I did my grocery order.

We have stayed here the last two years. Can't beat the location and condo layout is great; very comfortable and House is clean and has everything you need. My only complaint was that there was a loud noise that occurred sporadically through night in the master bedroom. It seemed to be associated with the upstairs unit or neighbors using the faucet or toilet (?) So we ended up sleeping on the couch and other room. It wasn't a huge issue for us because we had the space to spread out and I'm sure the owner can get it resolved easily as they are very attentive. Otherwise, this is an excellent rental.
