The host was welcoming and the location was great. We were able to take our elderly dog. He had a great time with walks across the road in the park and on the beach. We loved the swimming and walks too.

Great location across from the beach and in short walking distance to several great restaurants. Mark was a great host.

Really thoughtful with every need met, from good kitchen appliances to fenced yard and dog towels (!), to comfortable beds, outdoor hot shower, and fresh towels for us every few days. House is at busy intersection as cars are coming off the highway, without cross-walk, so best for older children. Great location in terms of cafés, beach's lifeguard-zone, and playground.

Hosts were very welcoming. Accomodation was as lovely as the photos. Location is excellent, across from a park and the beach, 1 min walk to shops. Great surf beach.

This apartment is underneath the main house and is modern and very clean. The location is perfect and we had everything we needed.The hosts had excellent communication and everything was very easy. Definitely recommend this property for a weekend away.

I really enjoyed staying in this little apartment. Everything was beautifully presented and very comfortable. It is also really handy to the beach and shops with an organic cafe about 100 m away. I’ll return one day.

This was our third trip to the property and like the other visits the stay was superb. Great facilities including the outdoor hot shower for after swimming make this property stand out. Mark and Ali are great hosts. Highly recommended!

This lovely accommodation was perfect for me and my teen daughter. Well set up and cozy with everything we needed. Loved having the beach across the road and cafes so close by. Mark was easy to communicate with.

Fantastic accommodation, very clean and well presented, with everything you need. Hosts on site were both friendly and welcoming while also providing privacy. Location is ideal for summer fun, especially for families. You cant get any closer to the playground and the beach is easy walking distance. Cafes and restaurants right next door. Whakatane 5mins over the hill. Highly recommend.

Very locatable and easy access to all that Ohope is. Parking a little tight but manageable. The best part was I could take my dog, walk & swim and then wash him down. So easy. Great accommodating hosts. Many thanks. I enjoyed the beach & getting to know Ohope from a different perspective.

What a lovely dog friendly place to stay, with a small fenced grassed area that is safe to let your dog be loose in. Parks and 11 km of Sandy beach right across the road , take-away choices walking distance few 100 meters down the road. It is quite a main road though so even though the unit has double glazing if you are not used to traffic noise trucks rumbling past might wake you through the night ( or the occasional loud motorbike or boy-racer type ). Just info for those easily woken by unfamiliar sounds. Also if you just want to put your feet up and enjoy a nice cup of tea after arriving pick up some milk along the way before you get there. Lovely and clean and very comfortable

Fabulous location across from the park and beach. Attractive bach, super comfortable. The bunks and eating nook were a big hit with the kids. We had a wonderful stay. Would highly recommend.
