Luxurious two bedroom condo with private patio and ocean view.

Accommodation was ok. I feel a few added items would be nice, paper towels, Kleenex, salt, pepper, oil. The beds were ok, but could use better pillows and more blankets. Overall the accommodation did the trick.

The pictures don't do the condo justice. It's super cute, clean, and perfect for a family visiting Salt Spring. I was here for a wedding, and the venue was 3 minutes away! It was right by the ferry that comes over from Crofton, so you would think it might be loud and busy. Nope!! So peaceful. Took full advantage of the patio. As well as being able to walk to the beach. Beds were super comfy as well! I've already passed the listing on the other friends, because we enjoyed it so much. Hope to come back to visit Salt Spring again. 🇨🇦❤️

Unfortunately we only had a peekaboo water view. The instructions on how to access the ‘key’ we learned from speaking with other people staying there as the instructions I was emailed were not complete. There was no coffee, sugar, tea, etc. which I have never encountered in any of the many places I have stayed! Trying to watch the TV was impossible BUT the condo was really nice, very comfortable beds, lots of amenities. There was a great restaurant across the street. The waiting area for the Vesuvius Bay terminal was just down the road. We drove our car down to get in line for the ferry and walked back to the condo. A great little beach in walking distance.

Clean & Spacious Condo, excellent location close to Vesuvius Ferry Terminal and only an 8 min drive to Ganges. There is only 1 parking space for the unit but we managed to park both our vehicles in 1 space. Would definately stay there again

Quiet, parking was easy, easy access to beach, peakaboo view of ocean from patio. Bed was not comfortable and squeeky, couch was small and uncomfortable, tv remote didn’t work properly, fireplace was just a decorative one, no staples like coffee, sugar, …tv was placed so high up I actually got neck pain from looking up for too long, water tasted disgusting.

Great location not far of a drive from the main dining/shopping area but tucked away where it's quiet. Loved that we could walk to the nearby beach. The place is very spacious and well kept. Towels, soap, shampoo are provided. We used the bbq for dinners and saved lots of money eating outside enjoying the good weather. Would recommend for families and hope to be back in the future.

Great unit. Nice having the 2 bathrooms for 2 couples. The reservation process and confirmation were not smooth.. but that’s not the fault of the hosts. They were great with communication.

Very pleasant relaxing place to stay, we will come again.One suggestion: salt and pepper would have been appreciated, we didn’t expect not to have these basics. Placemats needed to be clean, they were soiled with food from previous guests. Much appreciated We are looking forwards to come again.

Had a bit of trouble receiving check in info. Host was quick to respond when I needed the info. Place was very clean and handy to the rest of the island by car.

We spent 2 nights at this unit. The location is nice and super close to the road that leads to the beach. The unit is as described and check in/out is easy and no issue. The only thing that we wish was mentioned on the listing is if you are planning on cooking you’d want to bring basic condiments such as oil, salt and pepper. There is enough pots, pans, cutlery, plates etc. but just no condiments. The trip into town is about 10-15 min drive so hope this saves the next guest another trip out.

We enjoyed our stay. We would have liked to get more use of the lovely patio but the weather wasn’t on our side. We’ll have to return in the warmer months. Our only complaint would be, we weren’t able to load Netflix on the tv, and some of the dishes in the cupboard were dirty. Other than that it was great!

Lovely private condo unit and within walking distance of the Vesuvius Bay ferry, and a great little restaurant. Kitchen was well equipped and beds and linen were very comfy. Little garden patio was delightful!

The place was fantastic!! Very clean and tidy, the interior looked brand new - love the private outdoor patio and ocean view. The location was great. Easy to get into Ganges and the rest of Salt Spring. And catching the ferry from Vesuvius couldn't be any easier since it was right next door. We will definitely book this place again when we come back to Salt Spring!!

Was great, quiet and a lovely space

Very nice property, in excellent condition, well looked after and very clean. Only a very minor complaint about lack of supplies - paper towels, serviettes, salt and pepper etc. Overall, we loved our stay.

We stayed here while attending a wedding on the Island. The place was perfect with two bathrooms and plenty of space. The unit was Immaculately clean and everything was as described. Thank you!

Spacious and clean place, great for families. Like the easy ground level/patio access. 5-7min walk to Vesuvius beach, especially at sunset, was a highlight. Lovely local bath products. If you plan to use the kitchen to cook, definitely bring your own condiments, paper towels, tea and coffee. TV only worked for cable, the Netflix/YouTube/smart apps weren't working so don't count on that too much.

Lovely property, we enjoyed our stay!

The villa was spotless and absolutely perfect for what we needed. The patio provided a little bit of extra space for our busy toddler and the second bedroom was a perfect place for our baby to sleep. Peaceful, relaxing, short walk from the beach. Would stay again and again!

Lovely stay and the unit is exactly as pictured. The location is super and we loved the patio outside. Unit was clean and well maintained. I was happy to have read other reviews that advised that things like coffee, paper towel, olive oil are not provided, so I was able to bring my own.

We loved our stay at this property. The ground floor patio was very private and so relaxing to sit out on and BBQ on. The condo is very clean and updated and the bedrooms do stay quite cool. Would definitely return.

My wife and 2 friends rented this property to attend a wedding for the weekend and it was an amazing location close to the venue. It had a large living room, 2 bed and 2 ensuites (which is a major plus) and a huge patio to relax. The place had all amenities except for paper towel but we were able to manage. Would recommend this place.

Wonderful stay!

We were here for 3 nights. The check in was easy, everything was spotless. Beds were a bit sacked - could use replacing. Not horrible, but definitely not the best. Kitchen was well appointed, did not want for anything. Nice location. I liked that there was good parking available, the patio was a welcome treat. Would definitely stay here again, and would recommend to others.

We had a great stay. Nice coffee shop down the road, water view and the patio was lovely for lunches or hanging in the sun. Condo was missing some key items for daily living though, such as paper towel, Kleenex, coffee, etc.

The property is ideally located to explore and appreciate not only Vesuvius Bay, but the whole of Salt Spring. The unit is spacious and well laid out. We had some trouble with the cable box, as it was not syncing at all and needs some adjustments. There were no check out instructions provided, so I hope we left the property as it should be!

Only challenge was only non drivers present.

Enjoyed 3 days together as a family prior to the Christmas rush. Peaceful, beautiful ocean views and close to Ganges for daily adventures. Grateful to have this time together in such wonderful surroundings. We will be back!

This was the third unit I’ve stated at in Vesuvius Villas and it did not disappoint. Love the large patio - the view is a bonus. Everything comfortable and had all I needed. Thank you!

Everything you need for a great getaway

If you chose this condo, be aware that the code given to enter the unit is a code for a lock box by the front door. The condo is identified by the number on the front gate. I found the unit after walking entirely around the property and returning to the front to inquire of a neighbor. While it is a 2 bedroom, the bed in the master is tired, and should be retired. It sags into the middle. My husband ended up sleeping on the floor after a fitful night’s sleep the first night. The condo is very sparsely equipped kitchen-wise. The sheets on the master were so well worn, they were pilled and rough. The location is at the far end of the Island. We did like the new washer & dryer. Overall, not the location, or unit that we would book again if returning to the Island. The owners should invest in improvements to list this as “luxurious”.

We came via fulfird harbor and made it to the condo by check in time. It was a lovely, clean suite big patio. We had a lovely time.

The condo was beautiful with a well equipped kitchen, large bedrooms and lots of windows. Housekeeping was excellent. Nice patio & view. Make sure you have a flashlight if checking in after dark as the staircase to access the gate is quite dark.

Overall exactly what was offered. A nice clean place with 2 rooms and 2 bathrooms in a quiet area with a couple good restaurants nearby and about 8min from Ganges. Used the patio and enjoyed the ocean view.

I and 3 others used this condo as a base for 3 nights while we cycled the island and Vancouver Island. The condo was very clean and spacious - lots of room for the 4 of us. The covered deck outside allowed us to leave our bikes outside. Communication with the host was easy and timely. Would stay again!

Our 2 night stay on Salt Spring Island was clean, comfortable and spacious. We travelled with another couple and found the condo very comfortable for 4 adults. The only notable thing that was unexpected was the patio being on the front of the unit over the parking lot. However, this wasn’t a problem as it was spacious and private. We would stay here again.

We were a couple traveling with one friend & found the condo very comfortable for our stay. Communication with Elaine is excellent. The location is very close to the Vesuvius ferry & Seaside Restaurant (we enjoyed a beautiful sunset & delicious halibut from their deck). There is a small and very popular beach about a 5 min walk through the neighborhood, very popular with locals and lovely views to the ferry & north. Pros: Close to Vesuvius terminal Drive to Ganges-15 - 20 minutes Drive to Long Harbour- 20+ minutes Washer & dryer, detergent pods provided Private patio, peek-a-boo view of water & Vancouver Island mountains if you are standing but lovely spot for quiet reading or cup of tea. Dining table, chairs & BBQ provided. Master is en-suite, nice for privacy. Kitchen has basics; plates, glassware, cutlery, coffee maker, tea pot, pots, etc but no cooking supplies including paper towels, coffee, tea, etc Small local beach mentioned above (beach towels provided). Very popular, scenic and protected. A guide to using the tv remotes was provided. Much appreciated by us less than tech savvy guests. Cons: Mainly lack of cooking amenities in the kitchen. Not a problem if you don't plan on cooking. As mentioned by other guests, TV placement makes it awkward to watch. We give the property 4 stars as we found it more comfortable than luxurious. We give Elaine 5+ stars for her responsiveness, the location 5 stars. We do recommend this property.

We thoroughly enjoyed the condo which was well equipped and in a great area. Only drawback was the bed which had a plastic liner.
