Luxurious Oceanfront Escape Awaits – Stunning Views & Top-Floor Waikoloa Living!

We have stayed at a few different Hali’i Kai units before, but this one was extra special. The view and location were amazing. We viewed whales almost everyday. The unit had plenty of space, comfortable beds and kitchen filled with everything needed. There was also pool and beach supplies. We not only enjoyed the ocean view, but the proximity to pool and Ocean Club restaurant. We have always had great service and food there. This trip did not disappoint. We absolutely love The Big Island and always look forward to staying in Hali’i Kai. Thank you again for sharing your lovely home.

Very well furnished unit with all the things you need in the kitchen. Great laundry room, comfortable beds, outstanding views, and wonderful restaurant and bar two minutes walk.

Beautiful location, right on the ocean. Saw whales everyday. We used the pool and bar area everyday and the staff there were great!! We had a few concerns with the unit but the host was responsive. The unit could use a little updating but it was comfortable and well equipped.

Perfect condo, spectacular views, more whales than can be counted viewed right from the lanais. Great overall location and responsive hosts. Would definitely stay here again.

This is one of the the best location in this complex. We could see whales breaching from the condo, as well as magnificent sunsets. The only downside was that all the carpets and sofa were stained. However the owner was easy to connect to and he finally got it cleaned mid week.The pool area is phenomenal and unfortunately could not get a seat to eat on our last day. We did not realize we had to reserve.

Beautiful home overlooking the ocean. Home is clean and comfortable and has everything you need to enjoy your stay. We've rented places in the past where the kitchen was so poorly equipped, it was difficult to even cook a meal. However, that is not the case here. Kitchen is very well equipped, barbecue is clean and functioning. Beds are comfortable along with chairs and couch in the living room. There are two covered decks, one off the main living area and one off the master bedroom upstairs. Highly recommended and we hope to visit again.

The home was VERY nice, well stocked making cooking, washing and beach time even more enjoyable. The host, Mark, was attentive and the view was a highlight of our stay. Definitely would recommend!

Had a great time on this vacation. The view was exactly what I wanted. You had beautiful sunsets each day. The second balcony has a comfy sectional and chair to relax on and enjoy the sunsets. The inside was in excellent shape and looked like the pictures. The kitchen had everything you could need and was all high quality. Hope to be back again!

Wonderful condo with prime location for whale & dolphin watching, sunsets & sunrises

We stayed in this condo for 4 nights. The view off of the deck was beautiful. We watched whales and dolphins. It was quiet and peaceful. We walked every morning. A couple of days, we went to the Waikoloa Hilton. It was a nice walk. We also walked to the black sand beach through the volcanic rock. That was a bit tough. Our first night, we ate at the Ocean Club. It was so nice to have that restaurant there after a long day coming from Hilo and the volcano. I had some questions and the host was very responsive. I highly recommend this place.

Obviously, the location is magnificent and the condo was well supplied. The cleanliness/maintenance definitely needed improvement. The main bedroom sheets were stained with what looked like blood so we washed them twice and the stains diminished but still remained. I recommend new sheets. The toilet paper holder in the second bedroom upstairs was missing the spring inside so the toilet paper went flying. The holder was useless. The hot water handle fell into my hands but all it needed was to be screwed back on. Any finally, the stairs are in bad need of cleaning. It's an amazing unit and we spent most of our time on the upper lanai watching whales. Being retired CPAs, this was the first time we were able to enjoy Hawaii during tax season and hopefully will be able to do so again.

The Mavis' home felt welcoming and completely comfortable for our family getaway. There was ample communal and outdoor space, incredible view, well-stocked kitchen and the perfect 3 bedroom/bath configuration for parents and two adult kids and one GF. Easy access to the beautiful oceanside trail allowed us to stroll to the Black Sand Beach (1/2 mile) and A' Bay (1.5 miles). Sitting up a bit higher on the 2nd/3rd floor gives a great view of migrating whales--what a treat! Communication, access and parking were spot on and easy. The home is obviously well cared for and was very clean. It was the perfect homebase for all our adventures. Would definitely return!

The listing almost correctly describes this property. I just doesn't go far enough. The location is ideal and the unit was close to the pool/clubhouse facility. The unit itself was spotless and plenty of space for our party of 3 adult couples.Views from the lanai's were amazing with incredible sunsets each day. Easy drive into Kona with plenty of shopping/dining close by.I would recommend this property without hesitation!

We had probably the best family vacation during the holiday season. The accommodations were perfect for us. It was nice to walk 3 min to the pool and beach club. It gave us flexibility to enjoy the view with a little one and not have to get her in the car seat all days and avoid long walks.Can’t say enough about the rental. Lanai in master bedroom perfect for whale watching. Area is great too and you’re close to great shops and amazing beaches. Hiking trail along the coast is right there at your door and also amazing.Host was incredibly responsive. Loved it. Will be back!

Spectacular! The unit was perfect to share with young adult children...lots of space and more importantly an amazing view and location. The place was stocked with everything we needed and the owner was very easy to work with. We even saw a whale from the top floor lanai. We had a wonderful vacation and are so grateful we could stay here!

We had an amazing stay at this VRBO. The property was absolutely stunning, with breathtaking views and all the amenities we could ask for. We were pleasantly surprised with our first visit to the Big Island, and our accommodations played a big part of our amazing experience. This was the first time we used a VRBO property (we typically stay in hotels) and it did not disappoint! The condo was so spacious and cozy. My family of 5 was very comfortable. Being able to stay together, cook meals together and enjoy each other's company, was worth it all! The condo is beautiful, and the amenities were on point. The view from the back balconies was simply breath taking! I would highly recommend this property and will be booking it again in the future!

We went with my parents and two daughters and had a wonderful time. The unit was big enough for all of us to share comfortably and the location couldn’t be better. We loved watching the sunset from the balcony. We hope to go back some day!

Wonderful stay. Very well equipped home - they had everything we needed for the beach, the kitchen was wonderfully stocked and all the little details thought out….
