Stayed Apr 10, 2026Property is in a great location, very close drive to nearby activities.The property itself was very spacious, three of us stayed but definitely room for more. The pool is on the smaller side, but the time we were there we were the only ones to use it. It does have access to the beach, but it is direct access no beach to sit near the water. We did do some snorkeling next to the property and even got to see some sea turtles up close. Definitely would return again.

Stayed Apr 5, 2026Perfect! Loved the lanai and the reading loft. Turtles out front daily, and lovely waves to sleep to each night. I’ll def be back. This was our first trip to Maui. Great location! Cant get any closer to the water than this. Appreciate the small facility vs the huge complexes further south. Leaving my heart.

Stayed Feb 28, 2026We had the best time! This listing was exactly as described and we had the most comfortable stay there. The pantry was well stocked, kitchen cabinets were filled with everything we needed to cook. The beds were all very comfortable and the view is just priceless. We were greeted with the whales in the distance and the turtles right by the pool. Great communication with the property management team, and the unit was spotless. You would definitely stay here again next time we are in Maui. Thank you for making our trip a comfortable one!

I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a wonderful time. The condo was clean and had all the things needed in the kitchen. We were thrilled with how many whales and turtles we saw this year. We have stayed at the Kulakane for at least 5 years and have loved every minute of it. Debbie and Tony are great managers of the property, always available to help. The only sort of negative is the furnishings are getting worn but I can live with that!We have already planned a stay for next year.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: No AC, and the ceiling fan in the master barely worked. The bed in the master is cheap and very uncomfortable. The combination of the three made for 10 nights of lackluster sleep. Additionally, there was no smoke detector and electrical outlets were touchy and some missing cover plates.

Couldn't have asked for anything better. Location, Location, Location! Our view was great. We watched whales from our Lanai and turtles feeding right in front of our condo. Debbie and Tony are the best, any time I asked for something or had a question they were right there. If you are a light sleeper you might want to bring earplugs as there are roosters crowing, dogs barking and etc. They didn't bother us but it's what it is, life on Maui. I guess you can tell we love the place and have already booked 4 weeks next year. You'll love it!
