Lovely waterfront condo on the beach with pool & hot tub - dog-friendly

The property was perfect, and we had a wonderful time. Some furnishings were a little bulky, which made some areas a little tight; nevertheless, that is a personal preference. I only have two recommendations for the host. There is a shelf in the master bath that should be removed. It is at eye level and could be dangerous. Secondly, the master bed is too high off the ground. We had the concierge make an adjustment so that my wife could get in; she's rather short and petite. Outside of those minor things, our experience was 5-Star.

Excellent facility - but host refused to permit the property to rent us the on-site electric vehicle charger (10/charge) for our EV … forcing us to drive an hour round trip to Texas City - plus charging time - to keep our car running (there is no fast-charge facility on the island). Seemed rather mean-spirited for a host. Aside from the extraordinarily high king bed in the master, the rest of the unit was very comfortable - if a bit worn. Some wonky lamps, broken hinges on a couple of cabinets, foam padding added to compensate for a sagging bed. Nonetheless, we really enjoyed the common areas and had a wonderful vacation.

Check in was smooth, property is very secure, condo was as expected except for the 3rd bedroom. I would say that is only for kods.

The condo was really beautiful with an ocean view from every room!We loved the pool area that is right on the beach! You can sit by the pool snd see and hear the ocean. We will be back!

If you are looking for a nice quiet, clean, peaceful place to stay with all the amenities including heated pool, two jacuzzis, a dog run, state of the art fitness center this is the place to be! My wife and I will definitely be back!

Very nice property overlooking the water. Although most of the time we were there the weather wasn’t the best we still thoroughly enjoyed our time there! Our son , daughter in law and their small dog from Austin joined us for 6 days. They also we pleased with the property. They both had to work from there and the small den off their bedroom was ideal. We have already booked this condo for an entire month in February of next year. We’ll look forward to it!

Palisade palms is always lovely with tons of amenities and all the residents are very friendly. It’s great for family time and a fantastic location close to the seawall but you don’t have to cross the street to get to the beach. This condo has a great view of the beach, down to the pleasure pier and you can even see some of the bayside. Thanks for sharing your place with us.

The unit was as advertised and pictured! No surprises. It was spectacularly clean and well stocked. The week we were there was picture perfect weather. Since it was a few weeks out of season it was very quiet and relaxing.

Every exceeded our expectations. The property is top notch as well as the unit. There was a friendly staff that helped us as we needed. I would definitely put this at the top of the list of places to stay in Galveston.

Fantastic kitchen equipment, comfortable mattresses and living room furniture. Fun artwork throughout. Master bed was very high, not good for elderly renters. Limited to three keys and FOBS, very inconvenient for 6 people. Would be ideal for 3 people. Inadequate storage for 6 people for a week. Great washer and dryer. The resort is fantastic. We loved the pools, beach, game rooms, playroom, workout center and comfortable gathering areas. Very clean and first class.

Needed a short time at the beach after a daughter's wedding. Also wanted to bring along our Bouvier de Flanders. This was just the right place. Just a little hiccup checking in because the room key given us at the front desk wouldn't turn the lock, but maintenance saved the day pretty quickly. The front desk personnel were wonderful - especially Ladonia - as they all seemed to bond with our dog. Other reviews were accurate and although we had to leave a day early because of weather, the stay was just right for us.

The property itself was great. The condo we stayed in had several problems. I've sent all that to Vacasa. Don't know if we'd stay there again.
