Here in San Juan National Forest, you'll be only four miles south of canoeing, kayaking, and fishing at Electra Lake, and eight miles south of the slopes and lifts of Purgatory Resort. You'll feel relaxed and at ease as soon as you enter the open living space, where floor-to-ceiling windows frame views of the surrounding woodlands. Come wintertime, you can cozy up with your loved ones, and use the provided WiFi to post photos and monitor the mountain conditions. The full-size kitchen has been fully updated with stainless steel appliances, including a dishwasher, for easy home cooking and cleanup. Ascend the spiral staircase to reach the light-filled primary suite in an open, loft-style space. Back on the main floor, you'll find a comfortable queen-size Murphy bed in the living space and a second bathroom with a tub/shower combination.
Spend your days hiking in San Juan National Forest, skiing on the slopes of Purgatory, or boating with a view of the mountains at Electra Lake. Relax into the evening with a soak in the community hot tub, and leave bathing suits and towels to spin in the private washer/dryer.

I arrived at the property 1.5hrs before check-in time. At front desk I requested the key where they asked if I had been notified I was able to check in early. I said no. They told me they couldn’t release key until 4:00 I had to sit there for 1.5 hours on the front step of unit because no one would authorize an “early check in” there we no one in the unit no cleaning no maintenance but there I had to sit because I was never offered early check in and nobody at Vacasa would allow it. Horrible customer service for no reason what so ever
We enjoyed our stay there very much.
Over all very great
Awesome condo and really close to the mountain. Great place with a hot pool. Just be careful with the ice in the parking lots.
Huge place, 2 Queen beds in the loft and one downstairs, A full bath upstairs and downstairs, super new and modern interior design and appliances. Only negatives I can think of are a rather loud heater and no towel racks in the downstairs bathroom.
Good location and spacious unit for the two of us. Has several maintenance issues that need to be addressed.
Location was beautiful, couple things with the room came up while there but were addressed in a timely manner
We traveled to Durango with our 2 teenage daughters and 21 y.o. son and the property worked out great. 2 full-size/ queen beds in the upstairs loft and a murphy bed downstairs worked perfectly for our family. My kids loved the pool and hot tub every night with the exception that we were disappointed that it closed at 9 PM. The decorations were nicely done for a mountain property. The location was good for our agenda. You definitely need to hit James Ranch for the best hamburger! We will definitely stay at Tamarron again.
My review for this location is for both the property and my experience with Vacasa. Even though the house received 3 stars from me I would give Vacasa a solid 5 star review for helping us navigate issues while we stayed at the property. On the positive side the townhouse was clean and had a lovely deck looking out onto the golf course. The pool and gym on the property are also amazing and were a highlight of our stay. Unfortunately though the townhouse had quite a few maintenance issues including one of the two bathrooms being out of commission for 2 days due to know plumbing problems , broken blinds and the 7th sleeping option wasn't really viable because it was just a couch. Also, there is no sound barrier/wall between rooms so you are essentially all sleeping in one big space together. If you are a close family of 6 or less could be a good fit but not if you want privacy. We reached out to Vacasa for help with the maintenance issues and they were amazing, responsive and understanding. We will continue to make Vacasa our first stop when we look for vacation rentals because of the professional and caring way they handled our problems and it made the experience manageable and didn't ruin our stay. If they issues we experienced were fixed I think this could be a lovely rental choice for a smaller family.
Very much enjoyed our stay. Didn’t realize that there is not a master bedroom but that was on me. My only real complaint is that the sidewalk in front of the suite is very icy and could easily pose a risk this time of year.
