Stayed May 16, 2024Loved the loft. It was a good location for us as we were in town for our daughter’s graduation. We were able to walk to almost everything. Many dining options in the area. The loft was clean and comfortable. We did not cook while staying there, but there were plenty of plates, glasses silverware etc. only issue was the noise outside. This may have been due to the fact that it was graduation week. One of the bars around the corner had very loud music and the celebrating went on well past 2am. Took advantage of the ear plugs provided. They helped after the first night. The trains are also very loud, but don’t run often at night. Overall, I would stay again, but just not at graduation time or the end of a semester.

Stayed Nov 5, 2025The hosts were very easy to get in touch with and responsive to all questions. The loft is well-stocked with coffee and other amenities. Everything seemed clean. Lots of restaurants in walking distance. The review is not 5 stars because of parking. Everything communicated to me stated we needed to park off-site and pay approximately 7/day. Fine - the timer expired after 16 hrs and wouldn’t renew, so that was a little confusing trying to get more time in the lot. We came across a small QR code on the fridge at checkout for house rules. We were looking for where to put the trash, and came across info stating that the host would provide parking for the unit in the resident lot right by the building for 5/day. That would have been amazing, instead of walking 5 minutes down the road to the car. I’m not sure what is right or wrong.

Stayed Oct 30, 2025Perfect location for Old City Knoxville. So many restaurants and bars all in walking distance. The loft bedroom has a huge walk-in closet, washer/dryer and full bath all behind 1 door. Makes it easy to dress. The downstairs also has ample open space. Communication withthe management company was always easy. They want you to enjoy every minute of your stay.

Lots of little shops, bars and restaurants in the immediate surrounding area also. The space itself was like being in a movie. It was cozy, beautiful and clean!!!

Stayed Apr 20, 2025When we arrived, there was homeless everywhere, this place although looks very cute was not in the best neighborhood. We ended up leaving and not staying due to not feeling safe with our 4 year old walking through homeless to get to the residence. We mentioned this to the rental company and they stated they disagreed and would not refund us at all. There was a homeless looking in cars in the parking lot we parked which was right next to the residence, another issues as we did not feel safe leaving our vehicle either.

Stayed Feb 14, 2025We enjoyed the location and convenience to our favorite restaurant for Valentines Day. The only inconvenience is the parking situation. I don’t remember seeing in the listing that the parking pass is extra or that the parking is a decent walk away.

Stayed Feb 2, 2025The apartment/condo is cool. Liked the vibe. A couple of things to keep in mind if you stay here: 1) like other reviews, it is right on a street that is probably very loud on the weekend. We stayed on a Sunday night, so it was pretty mellow, but I can only assume that it is crowded with university students at the bars on Friday/Saturday. It is also right on the train tracks. I personally love trains coming by, but some people do not. 2) Be prepared for stairs. Doesn't bother me too much, but was difficult with our older dog. And the stairs inside the unit are long and steep. Just be aware. 3) After signing the rental rules, it said all kinds of things about a hot tub and pool. We didn't see either on this property. If they exist, there were no instructions about how to find them.Otherwise, we liked that part of Knoxville and would love to go back there on a night that more is open. Not the owner's fault in any way. We just happened to be there on a Sunday night given our schedule, so much of the area was closed.

Stayed Dec 13, 2024This amazing property is not exactly as stated, IT IS BETTER!!! The cute pictures are even better in person. My sister and I didn’t want to leave after the weekend. The historic charm of the exposed brick, the modern conveniences, the beautiful large windows for people watching, and the proximity to all downtown has to offer is amazing!! Yes there is a train whistle that will blow, yes it has some stairs to climb, and yes it can be loud outside at night, but that was all listed in the description very plainly, so I don’t know why anyone would write a negative comment. That’s exact why we love it!! We didn’t want a country setting. We wanted to enjoy the vibrant area while also enjoying a cozy atmosphere with everything we needed. We even opened the windows, watched the happy people below and sang with the music wafting up from the area bars and restaurants in the comfort of our pajamas! I don’t really want too many people to find out about this little gem so it will be available when we want to come back, which we most definitely will !!!

Stayed Oct 17, 2024My wife and I spent our 10 year anniversary in Knoxville and this loft was nothing short of perfect! The old brick, the lighting inside, it couldn’t have been a nicer setup. As soon as you step out the door, everything is within easy walking distance. Paige had amazing communication with us and we look forward to returning again! Thanks for an amazing stay!

Stayed Oct 5, 2024The inside of the apartment itself is immaculate, communication is awesome, top notch everything that could be controlled. Just wonderful. You don’t have this building to yourself though. There are several apartments and a bar attached. The common area was more run down looking, loud from other tenants blaring a tv, and had a strong scent of marijuana. It’s a little sketchy. And yes there was a warning about the noise but whatever you think the noise might be after reading the description, you need to multiply that by at least four or more. I mean we have what I thought was a lively downtown scene but it’s also respectable and mostly successful middle aged people visit. Here? Yeah no. You’re literally in the middle of huge frat party All the kids from UT come here. You’re surrounded by it. Drunken college kids just yelling at each other in the street right outside your window at 3 am. Harley gangs revving their engines, cars with huge stereos cruising by over and over blasting bass loud enough to rattle multiple fixtures in the house, bars with their doors open so you can clearly hear three sources of music, etc. It all goes right through the walls. Unless you want to party all night then stumble back to your apartment, I would avoid weekends here. I like bars and even make a living selling huge sound systems for loud music but this area is crazy, this is not normal.

Stayed Sep 22, 2024We enjoyed our two night stay... Loved seeing Morgan Wallen and Hardy at UT. The loft was charming and very clean. We loved being able to walk to downtown restaurants and shops. My favorite features of the loft were the floor to ceiling windows and old brick walls. The only downside is the area late at night was a bit noisy from the street and very close to the train tracks, so you will hear the train passing through the night. We would stay here again and very impressed with professionalism of owners/management. We love Knoxville!!!! The people were so friendly and delicious food and great entertainment at the Welcome Center.

Stayed Aug 15, 2024This property was everything advertised online. Very cool space, clean, and walking distance to many bars and restaurants. As noted in the description, there is noise from the bars and restaurants and the cargo train that goes by, but this was not an issue for us. Just mentioning it in case you have sleep issues. Our only hiccup was getting information on parking. Once we got past this, everything was perfect. Definitely plan to stay again.

Stayed Aug 10, 2024This was the best location for a venue we were going to. Walking distance to the venue and surrounded by great restaurants and bars. Downside is the party town and noise right outside your door until 2am. We were ready to go home after 2 nights. Just not our scene! The loft was nicely decorated and I appreciated the shampoo and conditioner and soaps. Really enjoyed the kurig coffee in the morning!
