BEACH DISCLOSURE: During the Summer months it is possible that large amounts of seaweed may blow in and collect along the shoreline. This is due to the constant East winds that blow towards the Florida coastline, so it's a natural phenomenon that occurs throughout the entire East coast of Florida. Some guests do find this to be a nuisance. As an alternative there is a nice public beach on the bay side only 10 min from the resort, the sea grass does not collect on that beach since it's on the opposite side to the open ocean.

Many of the most popular vacation rental websites have been infiltrated by more and more con artist that advertise properties and take payments/reservations for properties that do not exist. Also, many private owners throughout the keys are operating illegal vacation rentals in areas not zoned to allow for rentals of less than 28 days.
