Gulf Front - Treasure Island got its name from an early hotel owner who buried and then discovered a couple of wooden chests on the beach. The hotelier claimed that the chests were filled with treasure. News of the discovery spread quickly, and people began calling the area Treasure Island.

Lands End is located at the southernmost tip of Sunset Beach in Treasure Island, surrounded by the beautiful blue waters of the Gulf of Mexico on three sides. This luxury resort condo includes 14 acres of beautifully landscaped grounds. There is a 24-hour security guardhouse with a gated entry and many other amenities, including an enormous heated pool, a poolside spa, newly renovated shuffleboard and volleyball courts, a large and fully-equipped fishing deck, and two tennis courts with a courtside gazebo. • Children under the age of 12 must be supervised by an adult at all times.
• Please abide by pool rules as posted if applicable to include but not limited to: No glass containers at the pool area; no large floats or rafts. Please use the pool at your own risk.
• The use of roller skates, roller blades, in-line skates, and skateboards is strictly prohibited in the building walkways, sidewalks, parking ramps and garage.
• Keep balconies and walkways clear. No towels, clothing, umbrellas or other items are to be hung from railings or balconies.
• Barbecuing or grilling on balconies is allowed with an electric grill ONLY.
• Do not feed seagulls from the property.
• Park in assigned space for your unit. All vehicles must have parking permits displayed. Vehicles without a parking permit displayed are subject to towing at renters expense.
• Please be considerate of your neighbors and keep noise to a minimum during the hours of 11pm -8am. This is a private condominium or home and there are year round occupants that live in the building. While you are on vacation, they may not be.
• All trash is to be bagged and placed in garbage chute or proper containers.
• Cars must be pulled into the parking space as normal. No backing into parking spaces.

    A beautiful room with a picture perfect view on a beach that was NEVER crowded, which is suprising being the 2nd week of June. It felt like we were on a Private beach our intire stay. Scott at the front gate was amazing helping us with our late night check in and was so kind every day we saw him. He even gave us great advice about the area. We are already planning our trip back next year!

    Had a great stay, the condo was clean and recently updated. The kitchen was well stocked and the appliances were new. The living room has a big flat screen great for movie night. All the beds were very comfortable which was a huge bonus, and the ocean view is great.

    We have been to Lands End 16+ times and we love it. The condo was very nicely updated and well appointed. My only negative was that there was not one lamp in the entire condo. Maybe this doesn’t bother some people but I don’t care for overhead lights, they cast shadows. I enjoy reading next to a lamp early in the morning and later at night. Other than that it was fantastic.

    The property is dated and needs updating, but it was clean and quite nice. Enjoyed the location. Quiet back road away from heavy traffic.

    The floors/rugs were so dirty I’d you showered and walked to the LR your feet were black. Appliances were old with control labels coming off although they all worked. We learned sellers were selling the unit and it was obvious the had done nothing to it in several years. TV was very small and hard to operate.

    Lovely location. Equipped nicely. Kitchen has all the basic equipment but no supplies so be prepared to buy/bring everything if you want to cook. Butter, Pam, olive oil, salt & pepper, etc. they did have dish soap, dishwasher tablets and a small hand soap for every sink and toilet paper for every bathroom. There are beach towels, two chairs and toys to borrow so that was a nice bonus. Place could use some updates (kitchen is dated) but was functional, clean and enjoyable.
