Comfortable rooms for family vacation. We arrived late in the day, after office hours. We were nervous about checking in but found detailed instructions. All turned out ok. Only surprise was the lack of dining options late Sunday evening. Should we know in advance, we could bring groceries.

Excellent value and very well cared for

I loved the quiet during March when we stayed. The front office staff were amazing! The fireplace was awesome too! The only “issue” was the remote control wasn’t working right. I’ll definitely go back

Tips: Make sure fireplace works, indoor pool open only when office is, great putt putt so bring golf gear, pucs seem pricate but just a couple of outdoor hot tubs...might wanna be close to one if into it... Good staff. Def a spacious bi-level well equipped condo and great value in a beautiful spot on this rock. Kitchen well stocked. Needs power washing and no fireplace action in 2 units despite pilot on when we tried (Thanksgiving sucked without fireplace and maintenance off - think they're about saving gas money personally)...brings down your vibe so 4 of an otherwise 5 star.

Excellent price with plenty of space nearby to Davis. Property was a little bit out of date, but for the price I paid I cannot complain about that.

Large space, nice and very convenient.

Beautiful area and convenient to the resort without resort fees. Picturesque fall trip. I love snow but doesn’t compare to the fall foliage. Great golf weekend!!

Indoor pool was not working. Outdoor pool heater was broken. Pull out bed was so uncomfortable, you could feel the bars. First night we ended up having to put the mattress in the floor. Twin comforters were stained. Air conditioners are filthy with mold. Was under the assumption there was WIFI when we booked, but found out later you had to pay for WIFI but the company is only open Monday-Friday 8-5pm & check in isn’t until 4pm. We checked in on Friday around 4:30, so by the time we were unloaded & learned how to do the WIFI, they were already closed for the weekend. Water smelled funny. Was very roomy though & i liked it was equipped with a washer & dryer, dishes, & cookware.

We stayed here as a family, and the house was very clean and cozy. It was a pleasant and comfortable place to relax.

This is a great cabin/condo rental. We had our dog with us and family. The beds were comfortable and the house was nice!

Lovely location. Spotless place in great shape for a town home from the '70's. Nice gas stove, washer, dryer, plenty of living space and lots of amenities make this very family friendly. Great play ground, putt putt golf, trail rides, swimming pool. Three minutes from ski slopes, Canaan valley state park.

Place is roomy-was great to have space to spread out, kitchen was stocked with dishes and basics like paper towels and soap, kids enjoyed running around outside-would have liked to have time to try the pool. Overall the place is a little outdated and the pillows/bed weren't the best, but it met our needs for one night.

Property was clean but dated. Internet should be included. Bathrooms should have safety bars as they were very slippery. Location was beautiful and what we were looking for. It was quiet relaxing and self contained.

Unfortunately, the things listed as amenities were unavailble. The amenities were what we looked forward to as a family. The office closed early which limited our access to the inside pool and the mini golf.

We enjoyed our stay in Canaan Valley! The kids enjoyed the pool, mini golf, game room, and the jacuzzi tub. Plenty of space for our family of 4 to enjoy the mountains.

Beautiful place

Thoroughly enjoyed the second stay for what is becoming an annual trip to West Virginia to ski at Timberline and Canaan Valley. Appreciate the snow clearing efforts. The fireplace with a thermostat is great!

Well equipped. Nice and clean!

It was perfect for me and the old lady. Had the hot tub to ourselves the whole weekend of course it was 14 degrees out there but we loved it

Clean, no frills accommodations close to slopes & pizza shop. Basic needs met. 1980s decor. Gas fireplace is nice. Pet friendly so expect to find some pet hair in your socks. Very reasonably priced.

Fantastic

First off, the pictures were not of the unit we stayed in. The furnishings were straight out of Goodwill it looked like. The queen bed was like trampoline and we were afraid the headboard was going to come off. The tap was l water was horrible which then made the ice horrible also.

Perfect place

The condo was very nice and location was great. The fireplace wouldn’t work, but maintenance came right away, the next day. The downstairs tv’s directions are incorrect. The light in the mud room needs to be replaced, there were a few hairs in the downstairs shower, ugh, rest of the place was nice and clean. The price was very reasonable.

If you like the outdoors and appreciate small town shops and restaurants, Canaan Valley area is terrific. The condo we rented was a perfect home base for a three day Fall adventure that included Seneca Rocks, Dolly Sods, the Canaan Valley Preserve, Blackwater Falls Park and the towns of Davis and Thomas. We enjoyed two of the small restaurants in Davis and the glass blower artisan.

Good property, though not the one from the pictures. Plenty of amenities, especially if you have kids with you! The good things: clean and located near a lot to do. The not-as-good: The wifi mentioned in the listing is not free (note the word surcharge in the listing) and the hot tub in the listing is usable by the whole Land of Canaan (not a personal one in your condo). We could hear our neighbors quite well. Also a $100 pet fee. Not a bad place, but I doubt we will return.

The condo is a bit outdated in style/furniture but very clean and comfy. Plenty of space in the condo, plenty of parking space. I did not utilize resort amenities but the mini golf course looked nice. I was thankful I able to bring my dog, and lots of green space for her. I would definitely stay again, we love this area!
