Stayed Aug 14, 2025We were disappointed in the lack of accommodations for clothes, no extra plugs for required CPAP, no designated place to store excessive pillows and blankets, and the worst part was the inaccurate instructions to gain access to unit as well as not being able to lock the unit when not there. The door itself is very loud when closing it and the lock does not work.We have stayed at Island Cove many years ago under different management and really enjoyed it.We would consider staying at Island Cove Condo Redort again but in a different unit as no. 8 was way to small and uncomfortable for our liking.On a positive note the docks were good for our large boat.Improvements would be to supply something to sit on other than the bed. We brought one chair in from outside which was large and difficult to get around. We ate in the indoor entry way which supplied us with a table. Another Improvement would be to install under the bed pull out drawer for clothes storage. The bed is high enough to make this possible.
