Lakeview Mountain Retreat

The best thing about this property is the close proximity to town. The lake view is mostly blocked by ugly trees that are in desperate need of pruning, and the deck and furniture on it is too small to enjoy. The pictures in the listing are much nicer than the place actually is. There were several light bulbs out in various rooms, so that didn't help with it feeling dark and gloomy.I recommend that the pillows, blankets and carpet get a good cleaning or be replaced. They felt and looked dirty.Be prepared for horrible water pressure, issues with the TV in the living room, neighbors that smoke weed, lots of stairs to climb and a poorly lit parking area.McCall is a lovely area, but we will stay elsewhere the next time we visit.

We had a wonderful time and fully enjoyed our stay. It was such a great place with a great vibe and we felt right at home! The hosts were super cool, very communicative, friendly and enthusiastic about us staying there and we felt very welcomed. The location was perfect, close to the lake and a nice easy walk into town. The accommodations were great, the beds were super comfortable and the home had a really nice presence to it. We played some of the provided board and card games and laughed so hard playing Apples to Apples! It was truly a perfect and much needed get away for us and we will definitely be back again and would highly recommend the Lakeview Mountain Retreat!

This was our third stay at this dog-friendly condo for a McCall area ski trip. The condo is clean, spacious and well appointed with lovely lake views from the living room and master suite. The kitchen is well equipped (we cooked most of our meals for the week). The condo features ample storage for our ski clothes and gear. We love the king bed in the master suite and we slept like babies under the nice linens and duvet. Location is close to the lake and a short walk downtown, mule deer frequently wander around the yard. Alicia is a gracious host, responds very quickly to any communication and quickly answers any questions or concerns. The condo is on the third floor of the building, so be aware and pack accordingly. That said, we would absolutely stay here again.

We had a great stay. The place is cute and nice to have a partial lake view. The light that comes through in the afternoon is so pretty. It was nice to have a full kitchen and washer/dryer. Lots of great extras were provided like beach towels and chairs, board games, etc.

1st impression was at the front door. Really dirty mat covered in dog hair and lint. The linens on the bed are horrible!! Taking your shoes off before you walk on carpet. The carpet looks old and dirty. Looks like it could use a cleaning. Worst of all is climbing 5 flights stairs to get to the unit. If you have any kind of physical problems this may be a problem

House was so cute and beds were super comfy! Great location close to everything! Had the best time! Will definitely be back!

We had a great week at the Lakeview Mountain Retreat! It was close enough to town to walk but far enough away for privacy and quiet. Alicia was responsive the one time we reached out and checked in to make sure all was well partway through the stay. The condo was well equipped with everything you might need. Great ski weekend!

This cozy, third-floor, two-bedroom apartment is a short walk from town and has partial views of Payette Lake. Parking is available in front of the garage or in the lot. The building is multi-unit with lovely active neighbors. The kitchen has several pots and pans and utensils, a french press and drip coffee machine plus a supply of coffee beans and grinder, enough place settings for 6 people, and a large capacity washer and dryer. The bathrooms could use an update, but were functional. The master bed is comfortable, and the living room is great for family gatherings, reading, or watching a show on the large screen TV.

This was our second visit to this condo for a week of skiing, and we’d stay here again. Warm and comfortable, great master bedroom and nice lake views. Very convenient to downtown. Snow removal was prompt every morning - it snowed almost every day during our visit. Kitchen is quite functional - we cooked all breakfasts, most lunches and a couple of dinners during our stay. Hosts are super responsive and quickly took care of a couple minor issues related to the entire property (not the individual unit). We tend to pack a lot of stuff for many activities, so the stairs to the 3rd floor were a bit of work.

Close to town, perfect spot!

The best thing about Lakeview Mountain Retreat is the location walking distance to downtown McCall and a quick drive to Ponderosa State Park. The condo unit is cozy and the kitchen well appointed. Our family had a nce stay.

This is our 3rd time staying at this property and we love it. It's quiet, clean, comfortable and within walking distance of everything. We look forward to future years' stays.

This cozy lake-side condo was perfect for a family getaway especially because it's so close to the beach and playground for little ones - the owner was also quick to respond with any questions. Recommend if you're looking for a comfortable McCall spot.
