Lakefront, 15 Minutes from Yellowstone Park

This cabin is exceptionally well-appointed, both in terms of the amenities needed for a comfortable stay and the equipment needed for outdoors activities. We arrived to the cabin, part of a secluded group of similar cabins perched on the lake. Parking was easy, and the cabin felt private despite being close to other cabins. Walking in, we were blown away by the breathtaking view of the lake, framed by mountains and the big sky. The bedrooms were large and beds comfortable. The bathrooms were clean and the kitchen was well equipped with everything needed to cook, from eggs in the morning to steak dinners at night. The porch on the main floor has a grill, which we used, and a fire pit where we made smores on starry clear nights. The cabin is about a 2 minute walk from a small bar and restaurant. The place had a locals only vibe but was welcoming and friendly regardless. The food was great and the prices were reasonable, unlike some of the places in West Yellowstone itself. Thankfully, our hosts left a list of recommended restaurants, which came in handy. The location made getting to Yellowstone itself a cinch. The additional 15 minutes to get to the gate as compared to staying in town is really negligible, especially when you consider that getting from the gate to grand loop road can take an hour depending on whether bison decide to hang out in the road or not. We were grateful that at the end of a long day, we could go back to our cabin and enjoy a soak in the hot tub.

Breathtaking views and very comfortable well stocked home. Loved having the Happy Hour bar/restaurant a one minute walk.

We had a great stay - house was welcoming, had more than enough space for everything! Not to mention fully stocked kitchen and then some. Hot tub was a hit as well as basement lounge area. Quiet area, beautiful lake - highly recommend.

Amenities abound. House is well stocked to suit an extended family or friends & family stay. Suitable for all age ranges. Beautiful views, fairly clean & great separation of space to allow fun & quiet at same time. Host was quick to respond when we needed to extend our stay. Highly recommend.

The property is amazing and has all items you would need. So nice to be in one cabin versus separate hotel rooms. My kids loved the bunk beds.

The place was great - we were a group of 7 women and had plenty of place to be together and be apart. The 4 bathrooms was ideal. It truly had everything we could have wanted - space outside, space inside, plenty of dishes/cup etc. It was the perfect place for this crew. Would certainly go back. The place was very clean! Rick was SOOOO responsive - got replies instantly for asking mundane questions. Happy hour bar next door was a blast too - thanks for the reccomendation - would not have checked it out otherwise.

This was the most thoughtfully equipped VRBO that I have ever stayed in. Everything that you could want was generously provided. We were a large family group that rented two of the houses in this small development on the lake. We all had a lot of fun going back and forth playing with and enjoying all the amenities. This property was great for movie night with every premium channel available and a professional corn popper for the crowd. We brought a beautiful whole beef filet from Costco and were able to do it on the grill with a high quality instant meat thermometer that was provided. The beds were comfortable and the deck was well equipped with a propane fire pit and table and chairs. We loved the bat show every twilight and would make it a point to go out on the deck while they swooped among us for insects. Sadly the lake was very low so we were not able to enjoy all the water equipment available-but that is the story of the West these days.

The VRBO listing doesn’t do this place justice; it was absolutely amazing. So much space for our family group of 6 adults and 4 kids. The lake was low so the docks weren’t available, but that didn’t impact our trip at all and the host was proactive in letting us know. The house was extremely well stocked and clean, and the host was very quick to respond to our questions. Just 15 mins from West Yellowstone and YNP made for easy access for food and shopping but enough distance for a very quiet and relaxing getaway. So thankful we were able to experience this beautiful retreat!
