In town for a lax tourney. The owner was very easy to communicate with prior to arriving at the property. He even accommodated our request to arrive a day earlier than we originally planned. Check-in was very easy and the house was tidy. The property has everything you might need for a few nights stay- including laundry/ dishwasher detergent and paper towels. The kitchen is adequately appointed- all of the basics are provided. The laundry room is shared by the entire complex, but there are 2 washers and 2 dryers, and it is just steps from the back door of the unit. The upstairs bedrooms are comfortable- nothing fancy, but good mattresses and pillows. There is a full bath upstairs and half downstairs- perfect for 4 people. The location is the highlight of the property- the neighborhood is quiet, safe and walkable. You can walk to Main Street in 5-7 minutes, and the Hannaford grocery store is less than 5 minutes by car from the house. We never had to worry about parking as there are designated spots for the property. The town is adorable, the lake is gorgeous and there are so many good restaurants and shops to duck in and out of. All of the Olympic sites are worth visiting as are the many hiking trails- this trip we hiked to Mt. Jo summit, the peninsula right not far from the house has a great swimming dock so you can jump in Lake Placid, and we went cliff jumping at Flume Falls (well worth the 15 minute drive even if you don’t jump!). Overall it was a fantastic few days!

This was the perfect property for this trip. Not only did it have what I needed and then some, it was quiet and close to the village and had great neighbors. The host was very easy to reach and helpful before and during my stay!!

Perfect location! Very spacious. Additional powder room was a bonus. Very comfortable for 3 adults.

The property was centrally located and it was an easy walk to downtown. The host communicated often and was quick to respond when we had issues with the floor AC unit spitting water. Overall we were happy with our stay.

First time in Lake Placid for a lacrosse tournament. Condo was clean, great location to mirror lake, Olympic museum, and downtown. Definitely would stay here again!

Very convenient location to our friends and downtown.Walkways were very icy. Owner made his apologies and told us it has been a chronic problem with the company the association hired.Overall it is a great property to rent!

Good except for the ice and snow we had to go through to get to our unit. John reacted very quickly but the plow didn't come until our last day and shoveling us out was non-existant.

Condo was very, very close to town. Clean, spacious and cozy. Kitchen had all the essentials. Shared laundry room was just one door away, very convenient. Fireplace heated up quickly which was the perfect end to skiing at Whiteface when the real feel temperature was -10!

Property was more spacious than photos made it appear. Both bedrooms were good for couples and common space on first floor worked out well for weekend needs. Kitchen had good variety of appliances (Keurig, brew pot, microwave, toaster, etc) Had some limited condiments and utensils/pans/pots. Good weekend base but a bit too far to walk to main attractions during winter weather and snow on the ground.

Beautiful & semi-rustic. Everything we would expect from an Adirondack lodge, with modern amenities, like Kuerig, The American cherry wood throughout: floors, tables, etc. Beautiful. The propane fireplace kept us warm and cozy. Check-in process was easy, as was contact with our host. Even with the winter weather (GO FIGURE), and much snow over the four days of our stay, we were still able to get out and about, and the snow removal was timely,and thorough. Looking forward to a potential return visit during the summer, for a walk around Mirror Lake… when our cheeks won’t feel frozen solid. All in all, VERY pleasant stay.

We enjoyed staying in this rental for our 2 night stay with 4 adults visiting Saranac Lake and Lake Placid. The unit had everything necessary for a comfortable stay and the location was perfect…. Close to town but off busy street. Owner was very responsive when we had questions. Would recommend and stay again.

The condo was in a perfect location, walkable to the Main Street. The condo and amenities were exactly as described in the listing. My family and I had a great time here over Thanksgiving, and we would definitely stay here again.

Property as advertised. A little dated, but had everything we needed. The location was perfect. Just a sho walk into on. Gas fireplace was nice on a cold, snowy day. Would stay hear again.

We loved the location of this property, and the condo was very cozy and clean! Communication with the property owner was very good.

Great location, super quiet right in town, easy walk ability. Easy access to front door. Suggestions for host, might be helpful to have a little fact sheet explaining how to find the fireplace switch in back of TV, garbage bin location, tv operation with three controllers, etc. Definitely need a new toaster and the leak with kitchen faucet should be attended to.Overall good value and we would stay again if in the area.

Condo worked for us exploring Lake Placid, Lake Saranac and High Peaks region.

We were disappointed in the size of the bedrooms. Pictures were misleading.

The place was a perfect spot to stay with friends for the weekend as we were visiting for a wesding. Location was walkable to main street where the events were and a short drive to some great sites and nature. John was very easy to contact and all instructions clear. Plenty of parking as well We loved the place!!

Had a good stay, but disappointed that we couldn't use the fireplace from past people that abused it. I think it should've been turned back on mid/late August, rather than mid-September. My other bummer was very little room in the bedroom. There was an a/c window/room unit that didn't work because it said full. We couldn't figure out how to get it working. It would've been nice to have that fresh air in the window and the big unit moved out.

Having visited Lake Placid many times over the years, I appreciate that this is in a very good location. You can walk to Main Street and Mirror Lake Drive and the Olympic Arena and many restaurants and shops along the way. The small group of condos is in a quiet neighborhood and has designated parking. It was a cozy and comfortable spot for my husband and me as we celebrated our anniversary. John was an excellent communicator and responded to any questions promptly and provided all the information we needed, such as accessing the property and amenities.

This is a very nice property. There is a large spacious kitchen and living area. The two bedrooms served our family of four well and the bathroom is large. The location is great with everything on the ‘strip’ being a close walk away.

We spent a weekend at a family event and needed to rent a place in Lake Placid. We found John’s cozy home and it was all we could ask for. It was clean comfortable and had that Adirondack flare that we were looking for. John was very responsive to all of our questions and I would definitely consider staying there again.

We had a wonderful nine day stay in Lake placid. John’s condo was the perfect homebase for exploring the area. It was very clean, cozy, And it had all the essentials. We really felt at home. The condo was also in a perfect location to the downtown area. A short 10 minute walk and you’re right in the thick of it all: restaurants, shops, and most importantly, Mirror Lake. Lake placid was no more than a 15 minute walk from the condo as well. John is a great communicator, offering some fabulous ideas on things to do and where to eat. We would definitely return to the area and stay here again. If I could give John’s space 20 stars I would.

My son and I were in Lake Placid for a 3 day tournament. This place was perfect for us! Ideal location where you can walk to town in 2 minutes. Condo had all the amenities we needed and I highly recommend. Very quiet at night; also super convenient to have access to laundry room. Parking was ideal right outside the condo. We travel to LP annually for tournaments and I would definitely return back to this condo. It definitely beats a hotel.

Everything about checking in was seamless. Home was accessible to everything in town, especially if walking. Was a little disappointed to have to get shampoo, conditioner and soap for the shower/upstairs bath, but we left the large containers behind for the next, so hopefully they remain. Never saw one of the TV remotes upstairs but hopefully it is found. The home and property were very well kept and nice airflow so we never needed fans or A/C. Plenty of reserved parking and two parking placards were available. Wish there was a community BBQ but there was a nice private (away from street) patio with a table and chairs. Nice quiet and shaded complex and neighborhood.
