Lake Front with Spectacular Views

Great location; comfortable and very well-appointed. Hosts are fantastic; very responsive. Much attention has obviously been given to potential needs and comforts of guests. By far the best vacation rental we have ever found!

Gary and I absolutely loved staying at Christy's Cottage in Wasilla! It was so cozy and the mountain views across Wasilla Lake were spectacular! Christy went above and beyond to make sure our stay was great! The cottage was very clean and comfortable ! Just a wonderful time in Alaska! I highly recommend staying at Christy's Cottage you will not be disappointed!!!❤️

Staying at Christy's Cottage was like staying at a friend's home. The property was immaculate and it was stocked with unbelievably soft & fluffy towels, comfy blankets, wonderful scented candles, and soaps & cleaners even nicer than what I use at home. No hotel thin scratchy towels or single ply TP!! You can tell this is their home and not just a rental property to them. My morning cup of tea while reading and looking out at the lake was so peaceful and my stress level has never been so low while on vacation. Neighborhood kitties walking by every day was a bonus too! Christy's cottage was everything I could have wanted during our stay. Great location, amazing views, and the house is very cozy. The house is right on the lake and in a nice quiet location. However, it's still only a 5-10 minute drive from grocery stores, resteraunts, etc. The owner is easy to get ahold of and is very accommodating. I would highly suggest staying here to anyone looking to stay in the Wasilla area.

Christy's Cottage was so peaceful and relaxing. It was everything, even more than, we were hoping for. Beautiful location on the lake, stunning views, and easy access to all Alaska has to offer. We really appreciated how clean the cottage was and the high quality of the bedding and towels. Having a canoe and paddle boat to explore the lake was a treat. The simple and tasteful Cape Cod décor and feel is perfect. Thank you for the recommendations for dining too, Grape Tap was stellar. Highly recommend Christy's Cottage and we'll definitely be back.

My husband and I, along with our 17 month old, stayed at Christy's Cottage while visiting family in Wasilla. Christy was very accomodating and provided us with a crib and baby gate for the stairs. Because of this we were able to travel with less items and felt more comfortable in the home with our young toddler. Christy also provided a baby life vest for my toddler. There was a paddle boat and canoe. My sister's family was able to visit us at the home. Her four kids were able to play in the grass and go out on the paddleboat with us. This was a treat for them since their father is in the military and has been deployed for over six months. Even my sister's eldest child with autism was able to enjoy paddle boating with our family. Most of us had never been on a canoe or paddle boat before. It was very beautiful and enjoyable. We had an amazing great time on the lake and great memories were made.

We recently stayed at Christy's cottage and had the most wonderful experience! The home was clean and beautifully cared for. We stayed an entire week and were completely stocked with everything promised in the description from laundry supplies to toiletry items to the most delicious assortment of coffee and tea. We spent most of our time fishing from the dock and rowing around in a huge canoe of Christy's! We even had a few questions regarding stores and items within the nearby community, to which she was more than happy to answer at any time. As someone who traveled from very far away, we felt safe and relaxed our entire stay in an unfamiliar neighborhood. Thank you Christy for this amazing addition to our vacation. We would recommend it to anyone and will definitely be staying again during next years visit!

This was our first visit to Alaska, and Christy's Cottage had been recommended by local friends. This was a great recommendation, as the condo was cozy, quiet and comfortable. The living room, kitchen and dining room all face out to the beautiful lake (steps away from the condo) and gorgeous mountain views. There was a canoe with paddles, life vests, etc. available for us and we took full advantage of peaceful mornings canoeing on the lake. From the kitchen stocked with gourmet coffees and teas, to the light, crisp, beachy/cottage décor - we almost didn't want to leave the condo to go exploring! The location worked out perfectly for us - Anchorage, Eagle River, Wasilla, and Denali were all easy drives for fun activities like hiking, fishing, shopping, 4-wheeling, museums, glaciers and Mt. McKinley viewing. We had an amazing week and plan to come back again. And when we do, we'll be staying at Christy's Cottage!

My time at Christy's Cottage was wonderful. The lake and mountain views from every room is truly an Alaskan experience to remember. The rooms are bright and airy, the cottage theme is tastefully done and the property is so clean you can truly relax and enjoy. I highly recommend this property.
