Lake Front Property - Blue Heron Beach Resort

Blue Heron Beach Resort is our preferred place to stay in the Orlando area. While the buildings are older and units vary by owner upkeep, the property grounds is generally well maintained.This particular unit, however, had several maintenance issues. The front balcony door had no exterior handle, briefly locking our child outside. The rear balcony door’s lock had been reattached with only two screws, the microwave was held together with packing tape, the toaster didn’t work, and several hallway tiles were cracked or lifting due to poor adhesion and missing grout—one even caused a minor scratch on our child’s foot. Some repairs had been attempted, but they weren’t sufficient. The master shower head was so mineral-encrusted that we replaced it ourselves. The front door lacked a deadbolt, relying only on a chain lock, and the dryer knob didn’t advance, causing it to run continuously unless turned off manually. The AC closet door was open, and the filter had over an inch of dust; fortunately, a spare filter was available, which we installed.While none of these issues required immediate assistance, we felt it was important to share them so future guests can have a smoother experience. Despite these concerns, we thank the host for the stay. The unit was clean, spacious, and had excellent views. We will definitely return to Blue Heron Beach Resort and would consider this unit again, hoping these repairs are addressed for everyone’s safety and comfort.

Really appreciative of the owner allowing us to check in early. Apartment was spacious and the views were great , comfy beds and great location. Pool area was good also with plenty of beds , next to the mall was really convenient.

Apartment had everything you could need. It was clean with spare bedding and plenty of towels. The location is great for visiting all the places you could possibly need to go and the views were something else. Sunrise, sunset, fireworks, rocket launches. Pool and all surrounding areas on site very clean and well kept. We will definitely stay again, Thankyou

First the property manager was quite nice and we entered the property, with her permission, early on the 1st day (very appreciated). The unit was clean and my wife and I moved in (I have a CPAP so separate bedrooms!). The door lock did not work well and it eventually failed within a few days. Called the manager but it took a couple hours to have some on come out and replace it (this was a little tough on our morning purchased groceries as we were trapped outside the unit). Also had them replace a TV that didn't work, two lamps that could not be operated as the switches were broken. Then, I mentioned to the owner that I thought it curious that she provided only a coffee maker that made two cups at a time (which was fine for the two of us, but this was for a unit that could hold up to 8 people?). So she then, based upon this coffee maker comment, that my wife and I had more people in the unit and that she was going to charge me added rent! After missing one of our days at Disney World due to being locked out of the unit from the faulty lock, I was quite incensed at being falsely accused of bringing in additional tenants. The manager eventually backed down and stated she would not charge me for tenants that were not there. Thanks a lot!

Please book your stay here. You will not be disappointed. Excellent location and so close to Disney. Being high rise, the views were stunning. The beautiful lake Bryan to the rear of the property and tremendous views of Disney Springs and beyond made this such a special stay. We used the heated pool every morning and the grounds were well kept. Our host had excellent communication and a wonderfully clean and spacious condo. We wouldn't hesitate to book with Lynn again and will indeed be recommending her accommodation to our friends and family travelling to Orlando.We cannot recommend this property or our host Lynn enough !! Come and see for yourself !!

Great location, great views of downtown Disney & Epcot and universal in the distance. Apartment was clean and had everything we needed. Would definitely go Back.

If you are looking for a beautiful and comfortable place to stay for your Orlando vacation, you’ve found it! This condo has everything: convenience, comfort, and affordability! It is so clean with plenty of room. The beds are so comfortable, the TVs were in every room, the showers were perfect (I love a good shower!) We washed clothes several times with a convenient washer/dryer stack. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you need with a few extras - traditional coffee maker, microwave, ice maker in freezer, and garbage disposal all which added to the convenience. The view of the lake is gorgeous from the balcony and watching Disney fireworks was fun from the second balcony. The pool is big with lots of places to sit and a tiki bar - the woman was so sweet! We never had difficulty finding parking in the parking garage. The elevators were quick with no wait. It was a quiet, clean complex. There is a big Dollar Tree within walking distance for simple groceries and toiletries, and Chick-fil-a is across the street. A mini golf place is right next door also within walking distance. Disney is a 10 minute, easy drive with free parking in the “Lime Lot” for Disney Springs. The owner is easy to communicate with and returned emails quickly and efficiently. It was an overall wonderful condo, and we would definitely stay again.

Second visit but certainly not our last ? Exceptionally clean, perfect location, wonderful views. This is a jewel amongst the VRBO plethora of options.
