Stayed May 22, 2021I made a last-second decision to book a place for a week, so I was not too surprised that there were not many options. So, I was glad when I found this place. It looked nice and the price was not too bad. I didn't realize until I got there that the area had taken a pretty direct hit from Hurricane Sally last fall, so there was still a fair amount of damage from that that had not yet been cleaned up. The unit itself was quite nice, subject to two points: (1) the unit was advertised as sleeping seven -- two in a master BR, three in a second bedroom (bunk beds, with a double bottom bunk), and two more in a sleeper sofa in a bonus room. Well, the unit had a smallish bonus room, with a double sleeper sofa BUT there was an incredibly heavy and large coffee table right in front the sofa, which was really too heavy to move (and nowhere to move it anyway except out of the room altogether). As a result, one of my (adult) sons ended up sleeping on the couch in the living room. He didn't complain, but I wasn't too happy. Second, for some unknown reason, the TV in the living room was not plugged in when we arrived, which was almost impossible to detect the way it was mounted on the wall, etc. So that was a bit annoying. Otherwise, though, the unit really was very nice. Also, unless you are planning to get to the beach early (say, no later than 10 am), don't plan on parking your car anywhere near there. Rather, you should plan to take the shuttle. It only comes about every 45 minutes or so, but, you can track its whereabouts on your phone, so that's pretty helpful. Overall, we enjoyed our week.
