Koa Lagoon 506 | Beach, Pool, Sunsets and More!

The beach view was fantastic. The kitchen had most things that we needed to cook. There were some cosmetic and wear issues with parts of the condo. The sliding doors to the patio need to be cleaned , adjusted and lubricated. The toilet seat needs to be replaced. Closet doors in hallway and dining area need to be adjusted so they do not stick. Be sure and check the plumbing associated with th clothes washer. The one day we washed clothes, the neighbor below us said that they had water dripping from their ceiling.

This review isn't accurate as we were relocated to Maui Sunset A108!! Which ended up being a wonderful Experience. We worked with Austin and Angus the entire time, they were so great checking in and making sure that our trip was everything we had hoped it would be.

We loved the location, proximity to the beach and the ease of check in. The property is in need of some TLC. Kitchen is very dated and one cupboard has collapsed. Carpet in bedroom is badly stained. A/C blows directly on your head while sleeping and the unit in the dining room is pretty much useless. Wouldn’t take much to make this an awesome unit. Nothing 20 grand wouldn’t take care of.

I loved the location and this VRBO has plenty of amenities. This unit is aged but it was a great stay. My only issue was with a parking pass. I noticed the tow away signs and that all other vehicles had parking passes in their window. I called the listing company but I was again told that I did not need a pass. I called the main line listed for the facility on the internet and a different realtor brought me a parking pass. I think this is an issue that needs to be addressed so future vacationers do not have this same issue. Otherwise, Kīhei was a great area to stay with much to offer. There are stores nearby to buy and prepare your own food and enjoy with a beautiful view! I was a woman traveling alone and I felt very safe at this location. I would stay here again.

That view!!! The view and proximity to the ocean is the best I've experienced in all my stays so far. This complex is on the ocean side of the road and a small, nicely landscaped yard is all that separates you sand and a long strip of quiet (while we were there) beach. Stepping out on the lanai every morning was simply breathtaking.The condo itself was lovely, comfy bed & couches, kitchen had all the things we needed. We called the office for a minor issue (with the TV) and was resolved quickly.To address a couple reviews I read before we went: yes, the A/C in the main area is sluggish, it doesn't get cold (bedroom a/c does!) but we didn't spend much time inside during the day, at night the breeze was sufficient to be comfy. And yes, the water heater is small, but the pressure is fantastic so my showers were quicker anyway. Condo was obviously cleaned, the four stars is only due to wear and tear.Pool was quiet, water felt great!Location in Kīhei was ideal, so much food and shopping right there. 100% would stay here again!

Easy check-in. The location was perfect and the view amazing. Easy access to an uncrowded beach made morning walks enjoyable.As far as kitchen and bathroom supplies, we found everything we needed. The unit itself desperately needs updating. I opened a drawer and the front panel came off. There is a tear in the laminate going into the kitchen so make sure to wear footwear that doesn’t catch. Koa Lagoon is a quiet complex but I would probably consider a different unit.

You can’t beat waking up and falling asleep to the view and sound of the ocean. The overall grounds of KL are nice: safe and clean. 506 needs a great deal of TLC. Also could use a few more supplies in the kitchen. The biggest challenge is the microwave over the stove/oven. The bottom of the microwave is over my head: I am 5‘3“. I can barely reach it to use it. My mother cannot. But The condo is comfortable and safe.

We were especially impressed with the view. Many times one has to pay a higher premium for the view. The modest price here was nice.

The view looking out to the ocean from the lanai is beautiful but the look from the lanai inside is an eyesore Bland surroundings with outdated appliances. Looks like there is mold in the corners of rooms and the kitchen was gross and understocked I was afraid to walk barefoot on the floors
