I would stay here again. The bed was very comfortable. The condo itself was clean and comfortable. The couch and chairs were uncomfortable to sit it though. The view was amazing. The place felt very secure. The kitchen was stocked with essentials. The bathroom was large enough to move around and not be cramped. I liked that it had a patio to either sit or stand to watch the ocean. The 30 steps up to the third level was not as bad as I read it to be, however I would not suggest it for anyone with a walking or climbing disability. The condos are centrally located of the main hwy within Lincoln city so it is easy to navigate within the town.

This condo was Clean, great view, in the heart of Lincoln City. The beds are comfy. We had a great stay!

Henry was very helpful when I realized that this unit was pet friendly and I have allergies. The housekeeper also went out of her way to remove the decorative pillows and cover the couch.

Pros: Amazing view!!! And short walk to the beach. Heads up: Get dish soap from the front desk especially since there is no dish washer. The dish soap they provide isn’t the best. Most of the dishes in the cupboard were greasy and needed to be re-washed. The road by the bedroom is busy and is noisy. We also found the living room furniture uncomfortable. Overall: a great place especially for the location and the price!

Well to start it’s ocean front not a lake. Room was great. Did have a smell of wet dog when we checked in but we took care of it with some room spray pretty easily. Host was easy to contact. The place is pretty much in the middle of everything. Great restaurant up the street.

Beautiful, comfortable and clean spot to stay. Gorgeous view of the ocean and within walking distance of the water. We enjoyed walking the beach and had a great dinner. Looking forward to another visit

Loved the unit, great view and access to beach. We did not use the pool but wish we had, its nice to have that option on vacation.We really had a great time and would look to rent this unit, location again!Only cons were the kitchen sink faucet was dated and could use a pull out. Also cook pans were uneven and thin that everything gets burned when cooking.Stove burners were also lopsided and wouldn't stay plugged in.Shower valve was loose and wiggly and felt like you could push in towards wall, which we didn't because we didn't want to cause an issue.Overall we had a great stay and it was nice to have our dogs stay with us as well.

The L/R furniture was a bit uncomfortable, but not enough to ruin the stay. The balcony was concerning — the supports look like they’re sinking, causing the surface to cantilever away from the building. The middle railing stabilizer had pulled loose as a result. We noticed similar issues on other units. Despite this, we’d likely return for a short stay.Suggestion to the D Sands property (not the rental owner): Consider adding an adults-only swim hour from 9–10 PM. The pool and hot tub were constantly full of kids, leaving no space for adults.

My grandson and I spent a couple of days at D'Sands. Although it was raining a good part of the time we had fun exploring Lincoln City and neighboring communities. It was a fun time and my grandson LOVED the murphy bed.

Great stay right on the beach

Great place to stay for a weekend trip. Right on the ocean with a balcony... incredible view of the ocean and beach. Great price for condo on the ocean. Within walking distance of shopping and restaurants. Very clean. Only complaint was lukewarm shower and inconsistent temperature in shower. I know the building and plumbing is old so I guess this is to be expected.

The view was great. Place was comfortable. Location was good. We had our 2 year old grandson with us and the room was good for all of us.

This was a great place to stay. Very clean and comfortable. The staff were very responsive. The only cons I would say is road noise ( very close to highway) and the walk outside to the pool area ( just because it was cold outside).

Cute place with a great view. The road noise wasn’t great and a pigeon issue on the balcony made it unusable due to the droppings on the floor, but other than that, the property was great.

It was beautiful and clean, and there was easy access to the beach! The only drawback was the couch and chairs. There was no padding at all, and you had to use pillows from the bed to make it work. But for the price, it was worth it!

The property is an old motel that has been updated inside. No elevator that i saw. Hwy 101 is on one side and noisy during the day. We used the queen murphy bed on the ocean side and could barely hear the highway from there.

Property was immaculately clean. Plenty of blankets and pillows. Everything you could possibly need was provided. Furniture could be more comfortable but overall a great place

We were VERY pleased with our accommodations! The location was top-notch! I highly recommend staying there is you want a room with a view! Falling asleep to the sounds of the ocean and sitting on the balcony watching the waves were amazing!!

Road noise was worse than we expected. Bathroom could use some hooks. The linens for the Murphy bed could use a refresh. Other than that it was a basic affordable room.

We were on the 3rd floor so stay there only if you’re good with stairs. The kitchen was well stocked as were the bathroom supplies. The view was fantastic!

Good location, right on the beach. Lot of road traffic noise though. Would suggest putting up grab bars in the shower or tub mat as the shower floor was slippery. No dishwasher so cleanliness depends on previous guests, be prepared to pre-wash dishes.

Perfect location to enjoy Lincoln city. Right on hey 101 in the center of town. Comfy bed, well appointed kitchen, great ocean view. Some road noise in the bedroom so we used a sound machine and it worked great.

So first the good. The location was great, right on the beach, the view from the balcony was amazing, listening to ocean was nice, the inside of the condo was clean. The not so good; no air conditioning and leaving the windows open at night was not an option as the bedroom was on the highway side of the condo and the traffic noise with the windows closed was bad enough making sleeping difficult, the entire property was old and dingy and run down, the deck was disgusting from so much bird poop we asked for it to be cleaned, the guys did clean it but only the worst part of it, it truly needed an good power washing not just a little scrubbing in one corner, the paint and the carpet on the deck were in bad shape, all the furniture was very cheap and not comfortable at all, one day the maintenance guys were working outside the door to our condo up in the attack crawl space and dropped a bunch of insulation down and never even bothered to clean it up.

Disappointed by what we paid for. Wasn’t worth the price. Price was three times higher due to the holiday weekend. One of the chairs was broken, the balcony hasn’t ever been repaired and bird poop all over the place, broken paper towel holder, bubbling paint in the bathroom, no a/c. Couldn’t find any information about if there was WiFi.

This property is an older building, but the unit was incredibly clean. It is pretty close to highway 1 and so if you leave the bedroom windows open you will hear a bunch of traffic, it was not bad with the windows and curtains closed. It is awesome to be right on the beach.

This location was central for what we wanted. It was perfect to go walk the beach and close to local shopping. It was exactly as described, and we would stay again if we come back.

The outside of the property was pretty disgusting- stair wells were filthy and no cleaning happened the whole time we were there. The deck of our condo was covered with bird poop and pigeons had made a nest in the corner. We never went out on the deck to enjoy the beautiful ocean view, which was the selling point for me. Inside was dated but clean. We didn’t use dishes because who knows how clean they were if previous residents washed them? Wouldn’t recommend.
